    I did this with you 2 years ago when I started watercolour. You've been my saviour during lockdowns. Many thanks for your encouragement as I'm now not-so-much of a beginner. x

    Your watercolour paintings are fabulous! You indeed have a lot of patience! Even with a twig your painting looks so beautiful. Sometime would you please consider doing a raindrops through a window tutorial? It would be awesome to learn.

    Wonderful tutorial. Thank you. Question- do you need to do anything with the bubbles that happen when you are painting, especially with the wet on wet. Just leave them there???

    • @KarenRiceArt
      @KarenRiceArt  2 роки тому +2

      Thank you! I would just leave any bubbles, they may even create some nice textures!

    Must have a go at this in the morning... I do struggle getting really fine lines with masking fluid though. No matter how fine they appear to go down, using a dip pen or tooth pick, the lines always appear twice as thick when I remove the masking fluid... any tips?

    • @KarenRiceArt
      @KarenRiceArt  2 роки тому +1

      I hope you have some success. I have used a mapping pen in the past, you can get some lovely thin lines with masking fluid 😀

    • @gorway7
      @gorway7 2 роки тому

      I did it... Thank you. Picked up some fresh masking fluid as well, it was like night and day, way less gloopy, worked a treat! Really pleased with how the painting turned out.

    • @joannesimister1544
      @joannesimister1544 2 роки тому

      I just purchased a Pebeo masking fluid marker pen 0.7mm tip. Does very fine lines but takes practice to use, trick is to press very lightly when painting, then recharge tip by pressing down slightly harder on a spare sheet of paper, then continue with painting. There are other makes and tip widths available.
