Henry great video, I normally try to take all sunday's and Weds off of working on engines. Then you don't burn out and you stay healthy
The very first video I ever watched was for repair was way back Daivds Farm he was really good, but he had major issues with the divorce and what not.... Donyboy73, then Bruce, then mower medic 1, then Mustie1. But my favorite is you, and Bruce Pender.
Robert you have very good taste in channels, you picked two of everybody's favorites in MOWERSNBLOWERS and BRUCESSHOP! Roger👍
wow..... I haven't heard that name in a long time... it's too bad he touches little kids. his content was one of a kind.
@@norge696 is that what happen.... Oh wow dirtbag
So cool you are the three that I watch! I have learned a lot from you guys! I have done this stuff for years but not well! I’m always learning. Thank you three! I’m always learning!
Thanks Jason for those words. I am no where near the other two guys, but thanks for watching my channel.
Great video man. Lots of good parts. Valuable parts. Keep up the good work.
I've got a video of a Twin that still ran with a fist size hole in it, but this one is crazy. Thanks for sharing Henry! Cheers! Zip~
Zip, thanks for watching buddy! Hope you’re well.
Henry I think your videos are awesome... I have learned tons from yours.. thank you keep up the Awesome job 👏🙌👍😀💪
Steve’s secret is the beer 😂😂
Lol
Thanks for the all great comments and stay safe and I love your mower
I work on a lot of this stuff but I think you've convinced me to start a channel.. with what you found in that Kohler engine and the grenade gears this is why I don't like kohler's.... But what you going to do when the equipment comes with this stuff LOL
Henry (King of the tear down) is like the Johnny Carson of You Tube, the 5 minute monologue introduction before the good stuff! Nice tear down once again bro. The semi few days off has paid dividends, as you look well rested in your well executed surgical procedure of the Kohler patient.
Looking foreward to the live stream so get Cracken my dude.
Thx bro
Well done Henry good work 👍
Great video! Can you do a video on a 19hp Kohler courage engine swap for a suitable substitute?

Good vid Henry, I have one of those Kohler courage engines in a 4 yo cub cadet "holding my breath". Anyway how do you work with those heavy cloves on, being from Atl. Ga never had to.
It’s not easy bro! Working in the cold is torture! Not comfortable at all!
that is awesome to see donyboy doing that live stream he looked so shocked to be on there ,even funnier about him getting the messages on his phone lol.
A side of donyboy we don’t see everyday.
@@MowersNBlowers yes my thought exactly
It’s the beer man. A few beers always makes working on stuff more enjoyable 😂
Henry, I think that the Kohler Courage engine was engineered to self destruct. It’s really hard to imagine that the Courage engines are from the same company that manufactured the unbeatable “K series” cast iron engines and even the “KT Series 2 engines “ were pretty decent. The KT Series 1 engines had the oil delivery issues due to having the non-pressurized oil system.
Congratulations on your participation on the livestream,Henry. For the last few days, I have been watching several videos here on UA-cam regarding vintage 110/112 John Deere tractors in a serious effort to gain knowledge. My latest purchase has given me new incentive to work on vintage stuff again.
Those jd 111 series are really workhorses and built to last! I’ve never personally had them before. I’ve had about 8 Kohler courage’s...all of them blown!
@@MowersNBlowers As bad as I hate to admit this; Tecumseh engines may be just a little bit better than the ill fated Kohler Courage. Surprisingly Enough, The 112 John Deere tractors had the10hp Tecumseh engines as an optional engine along with the 8 hp Cast Iron Kohler K181S engines This tractor that I picked up Friday afternoon had caught on fire in which everything forward of the dash tower and console had been pretty much affected from the intense heat. I am at some point going to remove the spark plug and pour in some liquid PB Blaster and let it soak for a while. The grille supports are twisted a bit on each side from the heat of the fire no doubt. I think that I may snap a series of photos or attempt video segments to document the work that I am putting in to this tractor should I decide to make it run again.
@@TheIronDuke502 definitely video document it! It’ll be fun! Those k series engines were great! I had a generator with that and it ran great!
@@MowersNBlowers ZippoVarga had a very good video a few days back where he was working on one of the larger K series engines. Zippo was cleaning the points and the engine suddenly fired and made him jump back. He gave the carburetor a good cleaning and had the engine sounding really good. The cast iron Briggs & Stratton engines were very tough as well.
Enjoy Steve's Saloon and Donyboy's videos , but since the snow blower video will never be one used here in Arkansas - the riding and push mower video will benefit all my needs . But just in case one of those snow blowers makes it my way I'll know how too work on one with some knowledge.
You boys from Arkansas huh?
Have you ever used a Woyo induction heat gun to remove rusty bolts? It looks interesting...
Never even heard of it. I’ve only used a blow torch without much success.
I'd be OK if you took a month off Henry... You have so much content! We all appreciate the hard work you out into them.
Thx bro

Your back my friend!!!!

nice.....all kinds of "Doneskis"
I just like any excuse to say doneski
Get a piece of glass to check the oil shaft for being straight, roll it on the glass, table top works. 👍👍
I have a few. Not a concern, thanks
Cool!
I don't understand why you don't have at least 50k subscribers Henry. For me I'm more excited when you work on a chainsaw or weed wacker or something, like that. I 🤔 you have the best channel though.
Thanks Steve
That video was gold Henry. Gold!
Lol...I was waiting for you to notice that clip!
Henry, nice to see you mentioned on Steves Live stream. I don't know how he forgot you at first because as ive said several times, no body works as hard as you do! Nobody does a video a day. I watched Steves live and there were lots of MOWERSNBLOWERS subscribers on there and you were chatting with all of them! If you watch Henrys channel, please feel free to comment any time. No comment goes unnoticed whether its good or bad. If it's constructive criticism its always welcome. Henry's moving closer to 10,000 subscribers, lets help him get their! Thanks Charles Cribbs for sending Henry some new drill bits so he doesn't stab himself with a dull bit and have to go in for a Tetanus booster! Lol. 🇺🇸👍🇺🇸🗽
Thanks Roger! Yes lots of my subs were there! Love to see you guys!
Henry when the engine surges that means the carburetor is dirty

About time
Oh hey first
I’ve got a kohler courage engine that just rolled over 500 hours, and has been beat by a 13 year old to 19 year old (present me). I haven’t been easy on it, but it just keeps ticking. They must have screwed up with this one, it’s hasn’t self destructed yet!
I’ve had 8 blown courage’s, but remember I rebuilt one from parts that I put on my desert sand LT1000, from what I know, it’s still running.
Matt your very lucky! There should have been a class action lawsuit on kohler for purposely making a huge POS of an engine. Kohler used to be a well respected company. Roger
Almost every goid engine line has one lemon in it. For Koehler, it is the Courage engine. Saying that Kohler engines are bad because of the inferior Courage is like saying Ford or Chevrolet are bad because they have produced lemon engines in the past.
@@MowersNBlowers I tend to stay away from the kohler courage’s when I buy flipping tractors, due to the blowing problem. I tend to buy the briggs, and aside from a blown rod here and there, or a wiped cam, they have mostly been good reliable engines. My favorite engine so far has been a 16hp v-twin vanguard, puts out tons of power and torque.
@@tractormatt4301 vanguard by far is the best engines
How do we mail you things I would like to send you kohler stuff

Ive seen Bruce having a Labatts ehh?

Those engine,s are cheap from the get go 😠😠
Love a good tear down Henry sir. Thoroughly enjoyed my friend. Hope all well over your way. Take care 👍🏻
