  • PHOENIX and her yearling OLIVE were pulled from a kill pen by the team at Bergen County Horse Rescue and they have been working on rehabbing her after her difficult past. She had limited handling and isn't used to strangers, so we together we share a nice quiet moment and try to get her a little relief.

This a good resource for all that are looking for a well trained doctor near them.

It is so beautifully touching to see Olive (?) develop a level of trust in such a short session. On top of that, I’m grateful for Dr. Cracker realizing the level of care and patience required in order to ‘reach’ Olive, to connect with her. It’s truly a beautiful thing to see. Also, the importance of guiding others around you Dr. Cracker, to be still and quiet while you and the horse are in the zone, the importance of not interrupting the process… you truly have a gift with animals!

I think after that she has a lot of sleep to catch up on! She looks so relaxed. As a former chronic headache sufferer and eventual chiropractic patient, I could really connect with this horse. I remember so well the bliss of feeling the headache recede after an adjustment. I'm not sure if I did licking and chewing, but groaning with relief-- absolutely. Loved this video!
