Jersey is such a sweet tempered, beautiful guy for the life he has lived. It is no wonder he has so many aches and pains that you really helped. Isn't he the one who tried to take himself back into his stall the last time you were there? What a character! 💜it!
Hi Jana, I think it was Jersey that tried to open the gate to his stall. I can't remember. Hopefully someone else will remind me. Have a great week my friend. thanks for always being here.
I hurt for Jersey. Arthritis is no joke, and I’m sure he was continually worked while in pain, further damaging his joints. Bergen County Horse Rescue is just amazing for giving this horse the retirement he deserves. Thank you for bringing your healing skills to Jersey, Dr. Doug. They do give us so much, in ways we cannot even name. I think the surpassing gentleness of spirit just emanates from equines. They have a way of bringing the earth and God into our immediate space. They are therapists. I can see they touch you in return, Dr. Doug.💜
So many people start riding and working these horses whilst they’re still babies at 2 years old. They need to let them grow up and have their bones harden before riding them. It disgusts me that they’re riding them at age 2 instead of waiting until age 4 to give them weight bearing.
What a lovely lady who is so passionate about looking after her horses . Jersey is certainly in good hands with both of you !! He must have had a lot of relief from all those adjustments by the way he was licking his lips etc... great work as always Dr Doug .
I just came across dr. Doug videos about a week ago. Sometimes I rewind to watch the horse's face for insight into how the adjustments seem to affect them. It was so interesting and fun to watch Jersey. It was very clear that he was getting immediate relief, and that with each crack, he was starting to love what was happening. I'm so grateful to you all for the love and care you give to Jersey and all of the horses you rescue! I understand that many people need animals to assist them in daily farm life etc.... that being said, they should not be worked so hard, and go without proper rest, medical care, and attention! Sixteen is too young to be that broken down! Shame on the humans who let him get this way,. And God bless all of you at the rescue for doing all you can for them in retirement!❤
I find these so fascinating to watch, thank you for helping him 😊 What a gorgeous well behaved horse and that lovely lady volunteer who clearly cares so much for him 🥰
When Danielle came to tears expressing her feelings for Jersey, it made me wish I could've given her a big hug to console her heart. It is as big as Dr. Willen and Jersey's hearts. What wonderful people you all are. The tears were from a former segment I watched. It may have been Jersey's first appt. with the Doc. ❤ Please keep us informed re Jersey's progress. He is blossoming under your loving care Danielle et al.😊
It’s ok to be emotional Doc. That’s your reward from God for helping those in need without asking for anything in return. It feels so good to help people and animals in need, that it makes you overwhelmed with joy. Gods gift. 😉😁👍
Amazing animals those horses. Jersey at 16yrs old has a full life ahead. Thanks for helping him Dr Doug and all those beautiful volunteers are so selfless. Peace and love
This adjustment for Jersey was so satisfying to watch that even I felt looser and more comfortable afterwards. One of your best ever, Dr. Doug! Thanks!!
i'm touched to see you and these volunteers dedication to the care and treatment of these animals, some of whom have not had the easiest lives. I love all of them, including Jersey.
Aww! Jersey looks like a really cool guy. Mad props to Danielle as well as every single person that is working on bettering the life of horses. And of course saying on behalf of all the creatures big and small - thank you Dr. Doug! And thanks for sharing ;D
Way to go, Jersey!! Well done, Doc!! Another great adjusment on Jersey. I have 5 happy mares and 5 very spunky, healthy foals, 3 fillies and 2 colts, born in December and January. And I've already started putting in some basic foundation work on those babies!! Love from your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
Jersey is such a good natured horse. I think from the way he was chewing and moving his lips, he was getting some relief and comfort. Not doing the Elvis walk so much. 😂 He was so adorable at the end when he blew air out and then started eating hay, like he was saying thanks Doug, I think I'll have a little snack now. ❤😂❤
Love how the horse reached toward Dr. Doug after the leg adjustment. For animals that have been mistreated their whole lives, it's nice that they can experience a healing hand.
Dr Willen, Jersey knows and trusts you, he knows that you’re there to help him out. Your magic touch and hands helps him to heal and get better 👍. You did lots of awesome 👏 adjustments, they were loud as well. Dr Doug, your impersonation of Elvis 🕺 was amazing, I bet those dancing classes got in handy 😂. I like when you demonstrate and impersonate, it gives us a better understanding. Thank you 🙏 for your beautiful heart ❤️, help and patience, have a nice 👍 week doc.
Love to see Dr. Doug helping so many animals. His videos, especially those at rescue centers, raise our spirits during unsettled or uncertain times, and remind us that goodness is alive and well in humankind.
So many on UA-cam are all about what's in it for me. Dr. Dough is all about help others (people or animals). Daniel gives her heart and soul to these lovely horses. It gives me hope for the human race. God bless you both!

Dr. Doug it would be great if we could get an update on Jersey's ability to walk after a couple days. Would that be possible? He is such a cool patient! He actually works with you, and it shows! He tries out the adjustments as you are making them. He is very cool. I hope he recovers in his back end.

Great session with Jersey Dr. Willen. He seems to be a very sweet tempered horse. I’m very happy for him that you were able to adjust so many places on his body. Arthritis can be so painful and he desperately needed some relief. It was wonderful that you adjusted his rear legs, hips and back because you could really notice the improvement in his back legs and hind quarters when he walked. He was much steadier in the rear also. A very successful session!! Feel better Jersey!! Thanks for helping him again Dr. Willen. He really needs these appointments with you!! Take care. ❤❤❤🐴🐴🐴🐴❤️❤️❤️
