Thanks Joan! It's on Susan's list of favs too! It's also nice they are experimenting with different types of dishes than the usual dimsum fare! Keeps everything interesting when we visit! -Bill
Ha! You don't like chicken feet? Try duck feet! You got to eat the webbing between the toes! Good when they nice and tender. Bad when they tough and chewy! -Bill
Great! Thanks for your input! We hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Always good to share new finds with friends. Let us know what you liked best! - Bill and Susan
Dang!...this made me hungry!.....Too bad there are no dim sum restaurants past Chinatown, going west.....nothing in Pearl City, Waipio, Mililani, Wahiawa or the Northshore....to eat good dim sum, got to trek to Honolulu.....!!!
Wow! You're a diligent dimsum devotee! Thanks for doing the legwork so other viewers don't have to go searching in vain outside Honolulu. btw What's your fav dimsum on Honolulu? -Bill
@@whatiate2000 Happy Day in Kaimuki or Jade Dynasty in Ala Moana....I really need to go explore Chinatown...lots of new restaurants now. I love chinese restaurant and foods!
Thanks Nelson! It certainly is one of the best! Susan introduced it to me just before we got married, and I've been hooked! Ironically, I used to walk past the place when I was stationed in HI in the 80s with the Army! She is just amazed that I missed out on all the great food places while I was there as a young troop! -Bill
One thing I noticed is all dim sum restaurants offer the orders 3 per order....when dining with two people....then one gets 2 pieces the other only 1....done intentionally so you have to order 2 orders.....clever!....lol
It actually balances out at the end of the brunch. Usually we have 4 dishes, each with one left over. I let Susan pick her favorite and I'll consume the rest. -Bill
Nope. We don't have any kids yet. What's Wayn's channel? I've run into a few of my dopplegangers over the years. Aside from identical twins hey say statistically in a state the size of California, you might have at least 6 people who match you on a DNA test. That was O.J.'s defense on how his blood matched DNA at the crime scene btw. -Bill
One of my go to restaurants.

Thanks! I have enough content to keep going til August!
That nori roll was the bomb!
The Korean crispy seaweed roll is filled with glass noodles and other stuffings....didn't know Chinese dim sum had those seaweed rolls....
I think the cook was rolling some other kind of weed when he came up with that. Not one of my favorites. But not bad either. -Bill

@@daiiahi3403 Happy Day is good! We have a video coming up from a lunch there with one of Susan's friends. Love their Crispy Gau Gee!
Tai Pan Dim Sum is one on the best places for dim sum!

@@whatiate2000 My mother was the person that introduced me to Tai Pan, she said it is good and the portions are bigger than other places.
It wasn't until I was in my 40s that I understood the wisdom of my parents! I can be hard headed like that. -Bill
Dan tat is my favorite😊
Walter, where do you go for a good one? Always looking for good Dan Tats! -Bill_H
