Your terrariums are beautiful. After watching a few of your videos I decided to make a terrarium with my 5 year old daughter, using your information as a guide. I think she is going to love it.
So I've binge watched pretty much every terrarium video on youtube it seems and I can honestly say this makes easy top 3 of best terrariums. 100% going to make my own version of this
Thank you for taking my advice in the jungle terrarium by adding a predator you allways have the most interesting videos and they allways entertain people. Good job terrarium designs.
Prefer without the spiderwood, but this video was exactly what i needed as was debating adding pool or trying to insert pump for fall for next terrarium. ❤
I also agree that spiderweb made it look little messy but ik it made it look very natural as in jungle plants just grow without anyone permission lol ❤
Hi! I prefer the more minimalistic look without spiderwood, but I have two questions if you don't mind. Do you had to refill the pond in 5 weeks? And then, for how many hours do the led light run? Thank you, really nice scape!
I really love this terrarium. Since you asked for our opinion, I prefer how it looked without the Spider Wood. I keep watching your videos and I hope to learn enough to make a small or maybe tiny terrarium myself soon.
Love the spider wood. How awesome is it that you make nature into living art. Love your videos. I bought the book, can't wait to make my first desk terrarium! Thank you!
I have been intrigued with terrariums since I first learned about them in the fourth grade. I have thought I’d like to have one, but didn’t really know how to build one. I like your videos with your clear instructions. I especially like this larger one that you made in this video. But I have a question. Would a small turtle or even a frog live in this kind of environment? I think I would like something in mine besides just bugs. Thank you.
I liked the scape without spider wood as the large rocks and flat ground made the scape look bigger than it is, I think the spider wood would've worked better if they were thinner/smaller, complementing the large rocks. Either way it's a beautiful scape! :)
Such a great terrarium made and very informative guidens. I loves all your terrarium made especially this one! You inspired me on terrarium world! Keep going!
I love all of your vids! It's satisfying to see such great terrarium while still learning to create one, thank you for all of your vids and yes, keep the spider wood 😉
i have never seen anything like this before... very cool. dont plants need co2? if the jar is sealed, where do the plants get the gas? do the springtails provide enough?
So beautiful❣ Will a terrarium like this one, in a jar with a sealed lid, will it be necessary to air it out once in a while or will it be self maintained and remain closed all the time?
I recently tried to create a pond in an ecosphere, but it didn't work for some MIRACULOUS reason. The water always somehow ESCAPED from the small plastic container, that I used as a pond, and I have NO FRIKKEN IDEA, why that happened. 1. The container didn't have any holes. 2. The water did not evaporate, because the time was too short. 3. The water did not run out of the container, because the container wasn't angled that much. 4. I even took care, that there wasn't any moss hanging into the pond wicking the water out of it. This really drove me nuts.
I have a question. I have a bonsai that I'm bored with and shows no great qualities. Is it possible to get a removable air tight glass jar around the trunk so I can have a terrarium with a live trunk in the middle?
You stated, “I wont need to do any maintenance for a good while”. Could you expand on that comment a bit more? Even if it’s self-sustaining, is there a level of required attention it still needs from time to time? Thanks for the awesome vid.
Why not add silicone to a wooden cup? Stop it with the plastic, and forming micro plastics by sandpapering salsa cups, when you could easy use bamboo or wood. Or make your own with found bark and silicone.

I can't wait to make one with a small lake!
I love how it's on an angle, I can't even explain why it looks so nice to me I just really like it, you made another amazing terrarium as always!
Thank you so much!

Thank you so much! You should definitely have a go😃

Thanks for giving it! Glad you’re enjoying the videos:)
I'm new here. What do you mean by predator?
@@aaghnin287he put a Carnivorous centipede in his rainforest terrarium, you should see it!
The spider wood makes the scale appear smaller, whereas without it, the rocks look more grand in size than they actually are. Either way looks lovely.
I agree!
That's really cool! Just bought and downloaded your e-book. Good luck with your channel. Mike
I appreciate the support!💚

Do you think theres a way you can give future pond builds more shape?
That would be so cool! You’ve got me thinking now😅
I just found you last night. I love your video's and can't wait to try and make one of my own
It's beautiful! 😍😍
What do you think, with the spiderwood, or without?🤔
With the spider wood for shure
Spider wood is a yes
Definitely with the wood
@@WinoaNg-cr5hj *On with the wood!*
Without

I loved the addition of the Spiderwood

Awesome! God bless 🎉
Could you do a nother paludarium next please. Love those videos.
I'm excited to see if I can do this. How did you feel when you did your very first one?
Marvelous, will start doing my own terrariums ASAP haha, btw how is this one going? Any news?

Thank you for this great video! Can the mix substitute peat moss for the coco coir?
GREAT VIDEO!
With the spider wood
simply fantastic!
Thank you!
Super
i have never seen anything like this before... very cool. dont plants need co2? if the jar is sealed, where do the plants get the gas? do the springtails provide enough?
The water evaporation will produce oxygen CO2 and rain

Very Nice Indeed, what is The ideal Light for these Purpose Please?
Thks For Sharing.
I keep mine under some led lights intended for a planted aquarium, they do great😃
We like the spider wood. Did you use glue to attach?
Great! No it’s just placed in there:)
I love nature , this channel is so beautiful :3
Brilliant! Love your channel!
Does the pond need to refilled?
Thank you I like your video can you grow mushroom instead the terrarium
So beautiful❣ Will a terrarium like this one, in a jar with a sealed lid, will it be necessary to air it out once in a while or will it be self maintained and remain closed all the time?
i only wish I could find access to these plants to attempt my own somewhere in my area =/
Gorgeous, but won't the water in the pond go stagnant? Or do the plants keep that from happening?
It can rain in the terrarium if the water from the pond will evaporate for rain

That’s strange! Not sure what could be causing it as mine have been doing great:(
Is sphagnum moss particularly ugly or can it be used in a terrarium?
You can use it just fine:)
With spider wood
EPIC
springtails last for terrarium life ? or do you need to add more from time to time
It's called mating and breeding
Where does one find those springtails?
Do you have to water it?
Can you give us the list of the plants you used in this terrarium?
I’m thinking about getting into making terrariums. I just have one question. Where do you get your plants from?
From his website I think
Do you need to open the lid from time to time to provide oxygen for the springtails?
Springtails don't need oxygen plus if you open it time to time they would escape
I have a question. I have a bonsai that I'm bored with and shows no great qualities. Is it possible to get a removable air tight glass jar around the trunk so I can have a terrarium with a live trunk in the middle?
I’ve never done that before but it sure does sound really cool!
You should do it without the spider wood
What does this terrarium require in regards to sun exposure?
You stated, “I wont need to do any maintenance for a good while”. Could you expand on that comment a bit more? Even if it’s self-sustaining, is there a level of required attention it still needs from time to time?
Thanks for the awesome vid.
I have build a sealed terrarium with a pond, but it looks like all of the water from the pond consistently keeps evaporating. Any advice?
so for the substrate, is it just charcoal or activated charcoal?
Number 100 comment 😀🥳🥳
yaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Where do u get the cushion moss from!?
It's called outside aka the forest
I prefer it without spider wood
would the spider die with out the oxygen?😮
The spray water will evaporate and turn into oxygen
where do u get the plants?
You can get them on his website, I THINK
thanks
@@toytown123
Personal opinion I like it better with out the wood.
In theory this could run forever since it’s self sustaining after everything on earth is wiped out and this jar breaks and they can fix the earth?
I am surprised his arm didn’t get stuck in the jar
0:40 Did I hear a Rock and Stone?
Rock OR stone
@@Provaloni_forlife FA KARL!!!
i think only 2 or 1 branches wouldve been enough u over did it with wood
That wasn’t rock u put in there, I would guess that was petrified wood
Nah, those are stratified rocks
@@friedoompa-loompa2876 love the name lol
The spiderwood looks unnatural, it takes the eye away from the rest of the gentle background scenery.

That is a terrarium not a VIVARIUM you should know the difference nobody uses silicone on a terrarium
How does the pond stay full of water?
