we should have these arcade games around, they aged perfectly fine, simple to grab and the gameplay's solid. 1985 to 1995 +/- plenty of good stuff anyone can grab and play
I truly love this game so much.. Capcom did a great job on this masterpiece! ❤
One of my all time favorite cabinets. So many quarters sunk into them.
So very, very many. :D
This and Gauntlet lol
One of my favorite all time games! I love the music!!! Anything but the beeps and chirps of 1942. LOL
It’s a pretty great game!
Nice i remember this game capcom knows how to make great games with unforgettable music
This game brings back memories
Thanks for uploading this joe. I learn so much from your channel
Fantastic classic game !👏🏻
That's funny you said that. I bought this game and it did come in what I believe to be a ms Pac man cab. Came with unknown board set, I also believed to be ms pack man. Thanx for confirming my suspicions.
Well there you go :)
@@LyonsArcade i'm amazed that you are no different to everyone else...know one knows how to do the loop
5:08 Team play and comradery. We would do it all the time. If the other player were still alive he would keep on helping on the fight.
Later on we would shoot a weapon bonus until it converted itself to a gas tank and we would share the fuel back again.
Good good old times!
Superbe machine ! J'en ai claqué des pièces dans ce jeu !!!
very nice.
Thank you, Friend!
My dad used to play this
It's a real classic!
Great game!
burn in doesn't bother you huh, I got a ms pac monitor you can put in there then hehe, it looks like somebody painted the maze on it in black!
My gf played 1943 one night after a few drinks and scored 198,800 on 1 credit 5 years ago. We were talking about it 3 days ago, she came out to the arcade and her best was like 52,000. true story!
my try a few drinks before playing idk lol
I should have said... I don't mind burn-in if it's from THAT game, lol. Getting a little lit is proven to help your game playing abilities, true story
I remember there was a laser as a weapon. Probably hidden somewhere and you had to shoot it's secret location to reveal it. Pretty destructive!
good game
A real classic!
@@LyonsArcade cool!
I've completed this game on the 60 in 1 arcade machine.
How long did it take?
@@LyonsArcade almost half an hour.
Personally, I prefer Strikers 1945 over 1942 or even 1943, but those game were really good! And 1942 with Snow Bros were the first Arcade games i ever played.
PD: You have a Snow bros game in your store? you could do a video on that game!
Can you hold down the fire button or do you have to hit it over and over again?
I can't remember!
@@LyonsArcade that's understandable. Thanks for the reply!
What is the going price for this? I have one and looking to sell! Thanks!
Nice cab, this is a great game. I bet the burn in can be a little distracting.
Retro Force Yes more apples in the vending machine good game
I think it's funny that a Japanese game developer made these since you are literally shooting down Japanese planes and ships since they are the bad guys in these games. Wonder how popular they were in Japan? :D
Yeah it is kind of weird! Maybe he hated himself????? I actually read an article I think just called Hiroshima that came out in I believe the Saturday Evening Post back then, and they had went and interviewed survivors, they pretty much had the attitude that the USA kicked their ass, and that's what happens when you're at war, and really weren't all that bitter about it even though it killed hundreds of thousands or whatever. So I think the Japanese don't really have a problem with the war as crazy as it sounds.
@@LyonsArcade When I visited Pearl Harbor a few years ago, I was surprised to see that most of the tourists were Japanese. They seem to be fascinated about WWII in a way that doesn't make a lot of sense to us Westerners.
Well... Most people didn't finish it, so they were defeated by the Japanese hehe. And if you wanted "revenge", get ready to spend those quarters! Genius marketing? Hahaha who knows!
How much for that Space Invaders machine?
We already sold it but it was $1299
@@LyonsArcade Ron do a video on it please!
Joystick Dust cover's under or over CPO from the factory? Like the Blue t-molding trim! Is that just regular 3/4ths size? Thanks!
They probably originally were underneath, but they've been on top of this one for a long time (the cpo isn't faded under them). Yes, the blue t-molding is just standard 3/4's.
How much does this machine go for
Lewis we sold this one awhile back for $800
Kinda ironic that Capcom (a Japanese company) made 1943 where you are an American pilot killing Japanese pilots.
when capcom used to be good
You got that right!
