First music video post-op! At first, all I can see is my nose, but then I forget about it and all I can see is a bunch of people I love making music together. Feeling very lucky right now.
Contagious energy in this video! Also no one was even thinking about your nose until you mentioned it, and if someone's bothered about it they aren't worth even one of your thoughts!
Before I checked the comments I thought this was an older recording. I would never have guessed otherwise. Besides it's hard to pay attention to that while I dance.
The only thing that I noticed in regards to your nose is that you have access to more of a blend of nose and jaw voice I have lost track of what's been going on and don't know what the surgery was for, but if that was it, count it a success!
I was thinking the same thing! I thought it was either her forgetting how good she is at singing... or it was a choice, based upon the lyrics. Her stuttering awkwardness fits perfectly, seen through that lens.
Ben's backup vocals were so smooth! Slide guitar, acoustic bass, Jack... just being Jack with his enthusiasm turned up to 11. Thanks for making my Thursday morning awesome!
You know it's a fucking classic when Pomplamoose chooses to just go with the OG arrangement and harmony. This shit just works, it's like a box on wheels it just goes all day... And it just highlights the rounder, felt-like quality in your voice, I really really love it!
I listen to this one all the time, partly because you can hear the smile in Nataly and Ben's voices, and Jack's enthusiasm is so infectious. And the musical chemistry on so many of y'all's songs
Oh, I've loved this song since childhood, sung by the great Gerry Rafferty! And a surprisingly faithful rendition by you guys... complete with slide guitar 😎 👍.
Such a fun song to perform and with all the smiles, you all were!!!! Awesome song choice and even better execution!!!!!! Thanks for this wonderful rendition 👌 ❤ 😘
I was watching this video my wife came in the room and said"look at that big smile on your face" You guys just make me happy. We all need a good dose of HAPPY thank you.

J'adore cette chanson, mais alors là, bravo ! Quelle splendide interprétation :-)
My husband just found Pomplamoose. We are both hooked and subscribed. Love the vocals, the music, the musicians, and the SMILES. All so addictive. Thank you from C & T in Canada 🇨🇦
I spent the vast majority of my life not giving bass lines any thought. I missed so much and am so enjoying hearing classics and finally appreciating the bass lines.
I absolutely ADORE her in this performance!!! Like Jason B said here, there is a certain "awkwardness" in her singing this song. She, at the same time, looks like she can't believe she's here singing this song, her unique vocal style, her vocal phrasings, her facial expressions, her eye looks, and her quirky bodily movements all come together and give us all a real treat! It helps to be surrounded by a great band!

Nataly Dawn and crew thank you so much. I have shared your music with friends all over the world. If I can't sleep, I just listen to you and immediately feel great. I feel you are like good friends... and of course... we have never met! Your music is so varied, fun, interesting, intriguing, amazing! It just makes me feel so great! Every am/pm before after work it's Pomplamoose for me. Memories of days working in France, London, Atlanta, Miami, Toronto, Ireland, Spain, Cyprus, N. Africa, the music I listen to with friends everywhere. It evokes the best memories of everywhere I have lived, places I love, have visited, and traveled to worldwide. Listening to you is like coming home!
I'm glad you didn't futz, Lol, loved it! A song from my hometown of Paisley, Joe Egan, lived Just up the road from where I stay, and Gerry Rafferty, came from where I grew up in Ferguslie Park. I've always loved this song and play it at every gig I do. Love from Scotland.
i wonder how i will get down the stairs too. love the infectious melody of this cover. the slide guitar just tops it off of an already ear worm of a single. thanks Nataly for a 70s flashback for all those who remember what was like to wear bell bottoms and funky hats.
People are built out of choices and actions, not out of skin and bones. Don't worry about your nose. Your music and your soul are why we come back. Thank you for sharing them with us!

Don’t worry - the music is fabulous :) and I hadn’t even spotted anything about your nose
I didn't notice anything about your nose. Not a thing. It's fine. Mind you, those other noses, whoa! Where did you get those guys?
The only thing that I noticed in regards to your nose is that you have access to more of a blend of nose and jaw voice
I have lost track of what's been going on and don't know what the surgery was for, but if that was it, count it a success!
There’s a certain awkwardness to this performance that makes it 10x more endearing
good band singing crap BE HONEST
I was thinking the same thing! I thought it was either her forgetting how good she is at singing... or it was a choice, based upon the lyrics. Her stuttering awkwardness fits perfectly, seen through that lens.
Sometimes I think she doesn’t want underneath the music. I’d like to see her open her mouth when she sings.
Real people
It’s sweet.
This is probably the first time I've understood all the words to this song.
Every 2000's pop punk fans : "first time?"

Wow! A slide on an acoustic 12 string! What a sound! And the acoustic bass! Great job, all.
Ben's backup vocals were so smooth!
Slide guitar, acoustic bass, Jack... just being Jack with his enthusiasm turned up to 11.
Thanks for making my Thursday morning awesome!
Which Guild bass is that?
I never thought back in 1972 that this song would ever be considered a classic but, here we are.
and we are still here 2024
The Dog knows what is good music and is very happy!

The sound of that acoustic bass!!!
Never get tried of these talented musicians,
This song would be nothing without that kickass solid bass groove! Love it!
Sheryl Crow agrees : )
I listen to this one all the time, partly because you can hear the smile in Nataly and Ben's voices, and Jack's enthusiasm is so infectious. And the musical chemistry on so many of y'all's songs
Dude with the slide on the 12-string is absolutely killing it!
Oh, I've loved this song since childhood, sung by the great Gerry Rafferty! And a surprisingly faithful rendition by you guys... complete with slide guitar 😎 👍.
dammit i did not know Gerry was in Stealers Wheel ALL THIS TIME. I am ILLUMINATED !
Rafferty was such a king!
Love the acoustic bass! Makes this whole track.
bass line is all in this song
Bass is right on time!
Such a fun song to perform and with all the smiles, you all were!!!! Awesome song choice and even better execution!!!!!! Thanks for this wonderful rendition 👌 ❤ 😘
Esa canción dice más de lo que parece decir" Estos chicos lo han hecho muy bien, la chica ha cantado con todo el sentido. 😎👍
Clinical Depression: "Excuse me, I'm talking to you."
Me; "Shh, shut up. New Pomplamoose. I'll come back to you later."
Oh wow...that made me laugh out loud.
make it wait too, you've got this!!!
literally tho
The charm of this is it's ease and natural organic vibe. Perfection
It's such a pleasure to watch a band that is not only talented but look like are just having so much fun at what they do.
Way to go Mr. Bassman!

Love it. Takes the original and makes it even more catchy.
you are kidding right, exactly where is it more catchy the original is awesome
That bass is holding the entire song together holy moly so good!!

This acoustic bass is amazing! So clean, Joey Ayoub you da man!
Your covers are so much fun, thank-you!

This is an uncommonly straight cover for Pomplamoose, and it sounds great! Welcome back, Nataly Dawn!
Me and my buddy Marvin are LOVING this cover. Well. Marvin less so. He's only got 1 ear left.
Had to scroll down WAY too far to find this comment. Well-played.
I spent the vast majority of my life not giving bass lines any thought. I missed so much and am so enjoying hearing classics and finally appreciating the bass lines.
One of favourites of Pomplamoose. Take just a good song and good musicians. There is nothing more you need.
So refreshing to hear a great cover without a jacked-up "creative" arrangement. I'm here for it.
"Jacked" up. Lol
That bass tone! So sweet.
That was great! Of course I'd expect nothing less than Natalie and Pomplamoose!
The shy awkwardness in the beginning was so adorable
Her voice when she talks is as melodic as when she sings. She can't switch her talent off lol.
Wow, Nataly's voice and almost hesitant delivery is just perfect for this. Thanks!
Great song, great band, with Nataly as always singing wonderfully while looking more Danish than most Danish people I know, and I know quite a few.
Everybody wants to cover that song, yayyyy!
I love when you post these kinds of takes!
Very nice. Gerry is looking down and smiling. You guys are my newest favorite group. Just posted to 400 people in my Class of 68 forum.
Love the slide guitar, so good to hear you back at it. Really nice cover, may have to pull out some old vinyl for my afternoon.
Love that acoustic bass! It makes the song.
I love this cover and I love her voice!
Always loved this song. Love this!
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOOOOVE IT
Oh my goodness just put a smile on my face. Wonderful job!
Wow. So much fun going on here.
what a sweet vibe that bass spreads
It makes me really happy to see Jack on guitar in a video again. Reminds me of the good old Pomplamoose days...

Incredible! My wife and I have been on a 70's music kick and the original is on our playlist. What a fresh version, its perfect!!
Incroyable!
The slide guitar is so good 🤩
Brilliant!
Great to see you having so much fun with this catchy song. Love the new addition btw 🐕😃
💚 this song. Made me smile.
This was a song I grew up listening to. All this type of music. I love this!!
This has got to be one of my favorites to date!
I'm sick right now and this made me forget about it and smile my head off! A new favorite band of mine!
Nose? Nose? All I can see is a bunch of people enjoying their music and making a fabulouse version of a great song. Thanks a lot guys et femme.
Joey Ayoub is ridiculously good on bass!!!
Acoustic Bass is Smokin' The slide is icing on the Cake! Love it Love it.
THAT Bass!
I love the simplicity of the production. The song ain't too shabby either, and it looks like you're having fun. Dat'sa nice.
ça tourne rond, c'est très pro, on adore, .....encore, encore !.......................
I wish they did a mash up of this and Sheryl Crow's "All I Wanna' do". They are the same song!
Oooo that's a great one.
Though SC's song has more than 4 chords! But, yes, both fine songs.

YES. The very first time I heard Sheryl's song, way back in 199whatever, I thought for a second it was a cover of this song.
Please!
i adore the way Nataly crinkles her nose. i can tell she is grateful for Pomplamoose. keep it up Nat + Jack. Gerry would be so proud of thee.
Digging it all - love the energy that you all bring to every song. Also that acoustic bass is *cool*.

Excellent and very fresh.
Wonderful acoustic version of a true classic.
Most delightful blowing of a cue I’ve ever seen. No worries, give it two bars and jump back in!
The backup vocals are sublime. Excellent!
I love this song, it sounds beautiful

The humor in your voice at the start is contagious. And this was awsome
Really nice balance between preserving the original sound and adding that Pomplamoose touch! So much fun.
Pomps and the Moosen back at it! This stuff sustains my soul, y'all. Good to hear you again.
i wonder how i will get down the stairs too. love the infectious melody of this cover. the slide guitar just tops it off of an already ear worm of a single. thanks Nataly for a 70s flashback for all those who remember what was like to wear bell bottoms and funky hats.
Gotta love that bass.
One of my very favorite songs from Gerry... and for my Birthday!? You shouldn't have!
One of my faves
I love this song since Reservoir Dogs was released, and your version of it is just soooo good!
People are built out of choices and actions, not out of skin and bones. Don't worry about your nose. Your music and your soul are why we come back. Thank you for sharing them with us!
Joe Ayoub is smooth AF
This is my hubby’s and my “theme song” (long story). You have no idea how much this video means to us! A bazillion happy thanks!!!!! 🙏🏼❤️😀
Ça c’est une bonne ambiance !! Amicale et tellement chaleureuse 🥰 🥰 🥰
I absolutely love the sound of a slide being used on a 12 string guitar
That was so much fun to watch....nicely done!
How is this song so bluesy and yet exudes such a positive vibe? Everybody sounded great!
Watched this twice so far and I KNOW I will be back for sure! AWESOME JOB EVERYONE!
so natural,, awesome, top talent
One of my Stealers Wheel favorites. Thanks for this wonderful cover !
Yeeees. I adore this arrangement. 💚
This has brightened-up my day already .... and it's only 5am !
Lovely! Dig the unedited 1 take through--with all the over produced "perfect" stuff, this is real like steel.
I find myself watching this with a smile on my face. Ty
