@@KelvinMcNeil I just sent my info for the free consult on Monday looking forward to fixing this credit of mine! You posted a ton of great resources appreciate it Brah! Have a great nite! Blessings on u and your family🙏🏽💪👍🏽
Good day, so I just recently paid off my student loan. I had an credit score of 706.. now my credit is showing a score of 0.. or can't be rated at this time..which one of these credit builders would you recommend to start building my credit back..
The reason why you have a zero credit score is because you probably have no open accounts. So I would recommend at least one of these installment accounts and a revolving account, which I discussed on part one of this video.
So i have 2 personal loan account and one capital one credit card my score according to credit karma and experian is at 530 due to one late payment (had a difficult time involving an accident about a month ago) it did ugly on my score that was at a clean 700 My payments are always on time (except this one time of course) but im noticing like youve said checkings always ending up pretty low on the balance What do you suggest i do? Open one of your credit builder accounts or wait it out and just keep paying off all of these account My plan One of the loan will be paid off by june for sure and the other is a pretty big one but im planning to pay it off by the end of the year Now with the capital one i have a credit limit of 1100 im looking over this freedom chase card that im interested in and change credit cards by the time my credit score is over 700 Now what do you think my next step should be am i in the right path?
Sorry for the late response, I'm just now seeing your comment. I recommend you to open a credit builder loan once you no longer have any open personal loans but in the mean time, focus on revolving accounts. You need to add at least 1 new secured card if not 2 to really help boost your scores while keeping the balances low. Credit Mix is often overlooked but it really impacts your real scores (FICO) not what credit karma is showing you. Check out this video where I detailed 5 great credit builder CARDS that will truly help you boost your scores: ua-cam.com/video/d_BA2Ebiex8/v-deo.html
Which brings me to my next point.. you should be monitoring your FICO scores not Vantage 3.0. You can only get but so far using free credit monitoring sites like CreditKarma. If you really want to improve your credit, make the small monthly investment to monitor your Industry standard credit scores which can be done using MyScoreIQ, MyFico, or Experian.com.
It’s another good option. It just doesn’t have as high reviews as the ones mentioned in this video. 4.6/5 is an honorable mention & still excellent for sure.
Sounds like you’ve got it figured out. If you already have several open revolving and installment accounts. You just need to pay off your revolving debt and remove any derogatory items.
Would self benefit me if I already did it? Also, would these help me if I have 4 cards already? I'm trying to get transunion up it's 580, my other 2 are about 645. My other cards are either $0 balance or under 10%.
If you currently have 4 open credit card and you have previous installment loans on your credit report.. no this wouldn’t help. It sounds like you need to remove some negative items like collections, charge-offs and late payments.
If you need help with that, I would love to dispute those accounts for you. Feel free to schedule a free consultation: offer.greenscalecredit.com/freeconsultation
You’ve gotta stay on top of any & all auto payments. It’s only reported as a missed payment if it’s more than 30 days late which gives you plenty of time to verify payment has been received.
Off subject but Chase has a new payment plan like zip quadpay, Klarna. It offered me some $400 credit if I want to use their payment plan, I think it was 6 mths and no interest but don't quote me.
Hi Kevin. Thanks for your videos. They’re great. I have one question tho’ the brigt credit services, I heard there was fraudulent activities with Ashton Kutcher. What is your opinion on it? I’d like to hear your personal view on it?

I don’t know enough about the case as it seems it disappeared it never came up on the news but it was all over social media as they were exposed by several people.
@@vanevaz331 I think they were referring to some Crypto advertising not Credit building FinTech. I wouldn’t give it any attention if no reliable news publications are reporting it.

I can’t say whether or not these companies require you to be a US citizen but legally you should be able to just plug-in your ITIN instead of your SSN to apply and build credit.
It’s unnecessary in my opinion. No more than 2 is needed to establish credit. It would make more sense to get 2 revolving accounts as a well vs getting 4 installment accounts.
@@blue42goo watch part 1 of this video where I break it all down 👉🏾 These credit builders will help improve your credit! ua-cam.com/video/d_BA2Ebiex8/v-deo.html

@@KelvinMcNeil So they let me reopen it! I ended up emailing them and I got an email saying to finish the setup and I did and I worked. Suppperrr happy lol!

You didn't mentioned Bright Money Bilder maybe it wasn't available at the time the video was made.
Yes, Bright money is relatively new.
Hi Kevin, I have a question: I pay my rent, my phone bill and utilities using my credit card. How can I add this bills to SELF using my credit card? Is there a way or inhale to pay these bills using my bank account ir order to get it reported? Thank you
If you have the Self Visa card you can make online payments for you bills with it.

This is a year old. You still recommend these ?
Yes I do.
Can we get content on credit karma credit builder?
@@stepnationstepnation5837 yes I may make a video about it since it’s new.
Hey kelvin is it a bad idea to use multiple apps to build credit??
It’s a great idea
So i have 2 personal loan account and one capital one credit card my score according to credit karma and experian is at 530 due to one late payment (had a difficult time involving an accident about a month ago) it did ugly on my score that was at a clean 700
My payments are always on time (except this one time of course) but im noticing like youve said checkings always ending up pretty low on the balance
What do you suggest i do?
Open one of your credit builder accounts or wait it out and just keep paying off all of these account
My plan
One of the loan will be paid off by june for sure and the other is a pretty big one but im planning to pay it off by the end of the year
Now with the capital one i have a credit limit of 1100 im looking over this freedom chase card that im interested in and change credit cards by the time my credit score is over 700
Now what do you think my next step should be am i in the right path?

4.6/5 is an honorable mention & still excellent for sure.

ua-cam.com/video/zeNZN0GYm-o/v-deo.html
With these credit builder accounts, can you pay more than your monthly payment agreement to pay off the loan quicker?
No. The point is to make on time payments in consecutive months for a year or better to build credit. Paying it off early would defeat the purpose.
@@KelvinMcNeil Ok. Thanks. I appreciate it.
So these products are basically a Tradeline?
Yes. Primary trade-lines. Lines of credit.
I have too many accounts I just need to pay things down. Would any of these accounts benefit me?
Sounds like you’ve got it figured out. If you already have several open revolving and installment accounts. You just need to pay off your revolving debt and remove any derogatory items.
Are all of these primary accounts?
Yes
Do any of the credit builder apps instantly report the installment as an already aged account?
No, they do not.
Does a self credit card count as a tradeline towards getting a house
Yes, it’s a primary Tradeline. In fact, if you get the Self Visa secured card it’s reported as a 2nd Tradeline in addition to the credit builder loan.
Do you offer one on one assistance? Because I’m slow lol
Yes, I do. What do you need help with?
Self mess me up when I had my shit on auto pay and the app kept turning it off and made a late payment
Self does do manual payment i been doing it for 2 years lol
I’ve known about Self for over 5 years so you have to forgive me. Some things have changed.
I just started another round with Self and is doing manual payments, it will allow you to do so still.@@KelvinMcNeil

Hi Kevin. Thanks for your videos. They’re great. I have one question tho’ the brigt credit services, I heard there was fraudulent activities with Ashton Kutcher. What is your opinion on it? I’d like to hear your personal view on it?
I haven’t heard about it so I can’t give an opinion on it. What exactly happened so I can look into it?
@@KelvinMcNeil thanks for replying. Well I don’t know if it’s true but rumors are and this I heard from social media and at a podcast that they were scamming people out of their money. They did that with bitcoin also. Again I don’t know if this true or false but I wonder if you knew about it.
@@vanevaz331 if this were true there would be a public legal case/battle with reviewable documents not just people speaking on podcasts or social media reels etc. Just my opinion
I agree but they can also make it go away without ever reaching the court system. So I have to do my research and check before I decide to put my hard earn money and trust in any institution that’s all. I thank you for your time your videos are excellent and they’re helping a lot.
What is revolving credit is self that
In reference to Self, their revolving credit product is the Self VISA secured credit card.
Hello bro please am not us citizen and have no ssn
Am just trying to build my credit
Can I use my itin in these credit builders
I can’t say whether or not these companies require you to be a US citizen but legally you should be able to just plug-in your ITIN instead of your SSN to apply and build credit.
If you get 4 credit builder loans is that good or can that be negative.
It’s unnecessary in my opinion. No more than 2 is needed to establish credit. It would make more sense to get 2 revolving accounts as a well vs getting 4 installment accounts.

How do you get information
Get information about what?
lets just say I signed up for all of them…. Would it be beneficial? Would it make my score jump up drastically?
As mentioned in the video I wouldn’t recommend signing up for all of them. It would be overkill. Your credit score doesn’t improve the more loans you have. If you don’t have ANY loans, at the most 2 of these are necessary.

On the initial kikoff account $5 a month that reports a $750 credit limit., how does that reflect utilization?
The $5 monthly subscription doesn't impact your utilization. It's essentially just the fee to report the trade-in itself. Your balance doesn't increase or decrease if you only use the 1st product.
The only thing that would impact utilization is the Kikoff Credit+ Cash Card. I can admit, it can be confusing at 1st which is why I broke down the differences between Kikoff's 3 products in this video. Hope this helps!
