I am dying to get into cleaner lobbies. It's can be so incredibly frustrating to be smashed into every race when you just want to immerse yourself and race clean and fair
Obviously there are trolls and overly agressive kooks in play, but generally when I look at incidences in replays, it's mostly bad novice drivers making normal accidents and people flipping out and over reacting in response. That overreaction tends to escalate things in road warrior levels of stupid.
This is such a great video, a friend pointed this out to me as I'm the driver won won this race, I really do agree with alot of the things Rory said in this guide, racecraft is really hard to master but videos like this help alot
Alot of the tips and tricks Rory mentioned through out this video I actually used in this race to get p1 so it's nice to see someone helping the community improve their driving

thanks partly to your videos getting me hyped up (despite the fact that I'll probably be exclusively single player) about racing again I've pulled my Logitech G920 out of storage and picked up a GT Omega Classic wheel stand for it in prep for Forza Motorsport.

Thanks, Rory. It is tough in B ranked Lobbies. I usually grab podium staying out of trouble, but lose out to A+ or A ranked drivers. I’d be out of B by now if it weren’t for the higher ranked drivers infiltrating B lobbies… Why are they even there …

Ha - I'm still ranked DS. Pure demolition derby. Really struggling to break into the next class by driving conservatively and avoiding trouble. My main problem is not having enough time to commit to qualifying in a decent position first, so constantly end up in the mid-pack melee. It's so frustrating being constantly punted into the shadow realm from behind towards the end of races.

You nailed it about 2 drivers fighting. Just wait and you’ll find an opportunity to pass.
Situation awareness is so important in dirty lobbies. Be prepared to give up track position to dirty drivers, they usually bin it or quit anyway. Stay clean, the urge to payback some smuck can be overwhelming, just be like Rory and enjoy the racing.

My Sportsmanship rating is only a B because I rarely finish a race. There are so many idiots who would rather cheat and crash you out, than actually race. After getting knocked off track I simply pack it in. It isn't worth the aggravation.
G'day Rory, really what you are saying is, read the race of which I am very good at, unfortunately not many other people are. Cannot tell you how many times I have spotted something going on in front me, backed off, changed lines or whatever and then got creamed by someone who was not paying attention or more to the point, useless or just no race sense the game, is full of them. And the worst thing is grade has nothing to do with it.
Manufacturers cup was flithy in B lobbies this weekend. Some real spiteful drivers out there. Got demoted back to DRC and had the cleanest race of the week and a P2.
That sucks....was in B....didn't really have an issues....any incidents were ether minor or just bad/nervous driving

worst week of racing have not one 1 race im a b ranked driver but due to dirty drivers dowwn to lower d lobbies
How do you avoid being punted into another version of reality when you're winning or in second though? Truth is, you don't, you can't. If the guy behind is willing to crash you to win the race, because the penalty system doesn't protect you from him, you're screwed. That's why I run time trials and try to improve my baseline speed right now rather than waste it racing on a broken system. If PD ever bother to fix it, maybe I'll race again, but I doubt they'll bother. Maybe Sophy will be my savior in GT8? Who knows, if they remove the idiot humans from the system entirely and actually let me race clean, I may be up for that.

Do you experience a glitch? Cuz for some reason since Friday the race doesn’t start and buffers right before the race start, from 3 tries maybe one will go through but most of the time it just buffers
