i like using hard line with tube nuts with a 8-12 inch piece of russell #6 so it ends up looking like factory, i learned it fixing the stock gm trans cooler lines and it allows for flex
Had to do same on 700r4 pull stock fittings out and used fittings that came with kit I bought I did used permatex high temp paste takes over night to cure will do job
"Does the bottom go to the top, or the top to the bottom?" I've heard that you want to configure it so that the transmission pushes fluid up through the bottom of the radiator and out through the top, this lessens the likelihood of air getting trapped or aeration of the fluid.
Monkey Fabrication Garage that’s a 4 speed overdrive way better than the th350 issues they have it subpar internal parts. Which by now are all rebuilds anyways and if not. You can get them build to stage 2 upgraded parts
Yes I’m dealing with this also.. I got that kit off amazon and everyone says the fitting are junk so I’ve been trying to find new fitting to fit my radiator to the new trans lines. Any idea where I could look.
Dreamcast Vgabox just some old engine building stuff I think torco but those lines sucked and I ended up swapping out to ptfe lines. Worked way better. I sell both on my website monkey fab garage . Com
thanks for posting this. You helped me today and I appreciate that.
