      Howard, I don't claim to be smart but do have 75 year of experience knowing about the treasures virtually in my back yard when growing up. My book "shadow of the Sentinel explains a lot about how treasures across America are almost all related. Watch in the coming months for my new book in which I prove some of the old treasure legends are only coded accounts of how the treasure got where it was/is. Thanks for viewing the video.

    Thanks for uploading this, Bob. This is the only video like this on all of UA-cam, and not much information can be found elsewhere. I have a site that I am not sure if it is KGC or possibly a local outlaw and even the knowledgeable folks on the Treasurent forum don't agree. Is there any way to know exclusively?

    • @ancientriflesmith8917
      @ancientriflesmith8917  2 роки тому +1

      Cmax, It makes no difference what you want to call it, KGC is just a cover name for the real organization that buried the treasure using the pattern of our map overlay, we call it a template. Sometimes a small clue or line marker cache can be found without full knowledge of how to use the template, but finding the master cache in any depository will require you first find its center and then work you way out to the larger stashes at the points of the template cross. You must find at least two of the clue caches before you will ever get near the "big ones". When and if you find the approximate location of a Master cache, you will never be allowed to work the area due to the property's ownership. Most will be on Federal Land where no entry is permitted. Don't try to sneak onto one of those sites. It's too dangerous. Read Rebel Gold and pay attention to the warnings and close calls we have experienced. We have learned in 40 years of working with treasure hunters, people will try anything for gold. So we don't provide information that will get someone killed or imprisoned.

      John I self published a small booklet about the KGC in 1993. It was the first documented work on the secret society in nearly a century. The book sold out quickly and because I had learned some of my first research was faulty due to documents that were not factual it wasn't reprinted.
      The only other book we have found helpful is the one I dubbed "The Black Book," most people who have read the book pass it off as fiction or disinformation. It is in fact written in a form of cipher which when understood has led to recoveries of "Rebel Gold." The name of the book is Jesse James was one of his names by Del Schrader and Orvus Lee Howk. It is rare now and very expensive if found. I bought all the copies I could find back in the 90s to give to our research group "Golden Circle Research." Floyd Mann pestered me for KGC information for years before I finally sold him three copies. He gained most of his information by attending our treasure hunting school in Arkansas in 2004, I think? He used the book to open his KGC website and build for himself the title of world's greatest treasure hunter. He is a late comer to KGC treasure..no further comment on that.
      As for J. Frank Dalton coming out as Jesse James in Lawton in 1948, the truth may never be proven. We have collected hundreds of documents on JJ and JFD. Along with Bud Hardcastle, our GCR group agrees there is more evidence proving JFD and JJ were one in the same. than prove he wasn't. JFD was not the Missouri Jesse R. James known as Dingus, he was Jesse W. James born in Kentucky in 1848. In my bank lock box I have a postcard written by JFD in 1911 to a lady in Ohio the signature on that is exactly the same as on letters we have written by Jesse W. James. After using JFD's treasure waybills and maps for over 30 years to discover dozens KGC treasure depositories in many states there is no doubt JFD/JWJ knew the location of all the KGC treasures.
      No more long replies are forthcoming. Sorry you'll need to read my new books when they become available. REB Hillbilly

    • @ancientriflesmith8917
      @ancientriflesmith8917  2 роки тому +1

      Hey John, George's book was published by his daughter Margaret about two years ago...? You might check with Bill Townsley because he aided Margaret in publishing the book. As I find time I'm working on a different approach to the theory that is the standard story on the SR. I have worked this area some and found many carvings and clues not mentioned by anyone writing on the subject. In researching Dave Arnold, I find its entirely possible he designed the depository where the spider rocks were found. I don't know what happened to Jerry Eckhart down in Cisco, TX but he and I one time began another search in a much larger area than is considered SR county. I'm too busy with other sites in AZ, VA, and OK to devote much time to Texas right now. Interestingly I did find where Dave Arnold died/was killed? in CO. Later two of his sons were killed in the same area. One document states Dave was killed and is buried in west KS.
      In the coming months I hope to publish two or three books. One is the solution to the Danville Confederate Gold Tale (location known). Another is the solution to the Lost Dutchman and Peralta Stone Maps (several caches located) the third is how we found the so called JJ Keechi Hills treasure near Fort Sill, OK.(recovery to begin when fall weather allows) Good to hear from you again John. Guess I'm out of touch these days. I live only a few miles from AP but didn't know it became another state park. I do know the state sent a survey to Arkansans to determine what people wanted the area to become. Don't bother looking for the treasure buried around Greasy Cole, it was taken up years ago. I grew up with descendants of Dick Whisenhunt, the carpenter that built Pike's "two story house", not a cabin as history implies. Yes I do know the exact location of the house and have been there several times. Unfortunately I may be the only person alive that knows that spot. When I was shown the place 75 years ago I was made to promise to never reveal the location. Nothing to do with treasure but a promise is a promise to us mountaineers. Thanks for watching BB

    Oh, how I wish I could pick your brain! Not to hunt treasure, but I live in Georgia and used it as the setting for my middle-grade mystery/adventure book series. In my work in progress, my characters are searching for lost Confederate treasure. In fact, they are specifically looking for Jefferson Davis's treasure. I found this video because I am doing research on these tree carvings. I've just ordered Rebel Gold so I can learn more. Hi Megan, the truth of the missing Confederate Treasury is mighty close to what you are thinking. I doubt few scholars have as many hours researching and doing field work for the so called missing gold, as our company. Most of the PhD's I've discussed this subject with were not aware that three of last Confederate officers with Jeff Davis and accompanying the treasury were in fact members of the KGC. Major General John C. Breckenridge flaunted his membership by wearing the KGC emblem on his lapel when he was Vice President, Gen PTG Beauregard secretly was forming a Castle of KGC at West-point while the Superintendent there, prior to returning to LA. General Basil Duke's Calvary were the final troops guarding what remained of the Treasury,. Duke began the war as adjutant for his brother in law, Gen. John H. Morgan KGC who made the raid into KY.IN, OH, WVA, to support the planned KGC uprising in the North. Morgan buried a large KGC cache near the TN-VA state corners. That one has been recovered.
      At the end of the day, it was sort of like letting the fox guard the hen house as we say here in AR.
      But actually the treasure wasn't near as large as reports made it. The real treasure near Danville wasn't there until after the KGC closed it's books in 1916. There are a few more surprises in regards to the large amount of gold buried/hidden in the USA. Just hope I get a couple more books finished before I croak. My company has worked the Danville legend right down to a hole! The story of our work will be told in it's entirety in my next book. REB

      Congrats on publishing your books. My research group have all passed on as of July 16, 2023, this leaves me the only living person holding all the secret knowledge we discovered in nearly 30 years. Of course I have been at this heart and soul since June 1949. There are stories/legends that nobody knows since they all came from one man and the PhDs dismiss everything the old man said before he died in 1951. The story you will be interested in.... is Jefferson Davis when released from prison, changed his name and had a double stand in for him because the Yankees watched his every move. He assumed the name of (old age) Patterson and took all the South's gold to Texas in huge logs hollowed out. The gold is at Grand Saline, Texas and is buried in a swamp. It;s in three deposits buried real deep. Jl Frank Dalton, alias for the Kentucky Jesse Woodrow James told the story and drew a map of the site. I'm not saying this is true but I will tell everyone of the maps we got copies of have been spot on. If I finish my next two books before the Lord needs me you will all know the true facts.

      Thank you for the thought out reply. Their really is not enough of the Confederate Treasury missing to spend a lot of time on the subject. I researched the missing gold for many years. Of course there may be lies from each point of view. One thing for certain, Gen John C. Breckinridge and Gen Basil Duke are proven members of the KGC. They were the last two who were in charge of the distribution of the treasury to the Rebel troops. Jeff Davis never had the gold with him so it can't be his gold. Watch for a new book coming out on the Lost Danville Treasure in a year or so. The mystery has been solved and the legend is just that. The gold there wasn't there before 1916.

As far as the Amerinds knowing anything about the treasure in Arkansas or vice versa I sort of doubt it. Rebel gold being the most available right now I think. I didn't really give away a lot of secrets but at least you can see why I became very knowledgeable on treasure lore. You can just about forget all you've read about treasure hunting and start over. Turtles do point to treasure but first you need to know that the turtle is a transparent map overlay, I call a template. That turtle on the tree in the video is the template and the eggs are measurements. The other symbols are places in the mountains that only someone from here would recognize. They appear on a topo map of the region. Go to and read more about the template. It is the only way a treasure can be found. The template aligns with a topo map and the circles and squares are where the caches can be. Not every circle or square will have a cache, but each one will have a clue leading to the loot.
      I'm old and near blind but I'm working on DVDs to tell how the people who put down the money were geniuses at turning anything into a treasure clue.
      I don't normally say much because everyone who has read treasure tales and sign books are already experts and don't need any help. Of course none of them ever found a cache of silver or gold. Contact me on our website, URL above, and I will sell you a first edition autographed Shadow of the Sentinel for 38.00 postpaid

      Me again James.... the old military ciphers are seldom used in the treasure depositories made by this secret society. Do yourself a favor and forget all what you thinik you know about treasure. See if you can find what is called Pershur or Pershure code and look that over. When you understand that code you will find there are facts in every treasure story that will help. But there is more BS than truth. You just gotta be able to sort it out. Its all in the way its written.

      that Holly was carved in 1912, it was near that big then. I lived only 1/4 mile from the tree and walked by it every time I was hunting on the mountain, where it is. Holly trees grow real slow and one that big could be 200 years old. 'the tree in the Danville cemetery I showed on the television show "Lost treasury of the confederacy. I core bored and it was 178, is wasn't carved anywhere near the civil war, but in about 1930. It was almost the same size and the Map tree. It also led to solving the treasure mystery. New book on that when I get time..

    I don't believe what he say the symbol on tree will be much more higher and the tree would have been lots more older

      Sorry Ben that tree is very old. You are mistaken when you think carvings get higher as the tree grows, they do not, they stretch out some as the diameter of the tree gets larger. I have cut down Holly trees very close to this one and counted the growth rings, some have over 200 years of growth. This tree was carved in 1910. I know because the man who carved it told me that. If you are one that believes Jesse James died in 1882 you have not done your research well. Regardless that tree is authentic and was carved 30 years before I was born. Thanks for comment and watching. Just go to Google and search how long Holly trees live and how slow they grow. I estimate that tree in video is over 130 years old. REB

      @@ancientriflesmith8917 Being that JJ supposedly died 30 years before this was carved, I’m guessing the KGC went on long after his death, or was his death date wrong?

      @@skeon67 Hi skeon67, All i can say is that you do your own investigation of the JJ death hoax.. We had 20 members of our Research Team look at every available document concerning the life and death of the "TWO" JJs. Two were PHds. one a Master in English and American History, and the rest of us were free to travel as we wanted to visit dozens of JJ's treasure depositories and they do exist. There is no real evidence that Bob Ford killed JWJ.In fact if you knew how to decipher the coded photos left by the "group" you could see it was a hoax. History can never be changed as so we gave up trying. We have hundreds of documents not available to the public and can make a very strong case for what we say. You won't get the facts watching youtube or on forums. The books you need to read for yourself are few and far between and $$$$ . Search the online bookstores and you will find one once in awhile, some of our reasearch group worked at this for over 40 years. I wrote two books on the subject and that is all I intend to do. Thanks for asking. REB

      It's likely there are similar carved maps on rocks and trees in the region where you live. Ask others if they know of any. You'll be surprised. Only a few know what these are and can read the KGC code. History Channel has aired much of my work in treasure locations. Google Rebel Gold. Thanks for watching. REB aka Bob B.
