- Self-explanatory, fantastic series of G.I. Joe-type Street Fighter II toy commercials.
I love how there's a devolving trajectory of the toy line until it becomes completely G.I. Joe. You can see the transformation in each iteration.
Note: Not trying to get into copyright trouble here, I just thought this was awesome and needed to be shared. - Ігри
"What's tougher than a Street Fighter?"
A Street Fighters mother?"
Oh wow, amazing.
Oh that was duke sorry he looked like guile
*no*
I visited U.S in 92, and remember my Mother buying, a Ryu action figure for me. Recently my mother passed away. When I saw this advertisement, I remerembered her. Thank you!
Greetings from Brasil!!!🤗🇧🇷🇺🇲
R.I.P Chris Latta. The true voice of Cobra Commander
90s where probably the best toy comercials productions EVER!! they are great.
Francisco Rodriguez I miss being a kid in the 90’s.
Totally cheesy compared to 80’s commercials.
Everytime I heard someone said "Ra-i-yu" instead it "Ryu", I died a little inside :(
Still the best live action Duke.
This is where Ken got his Masters surname. Hasbro wanted to avoid legal trouble with Mattel, who created Barbie’s boyfriend, also named Ken.
"They look unbeatable!"
Blanka proceeds to beat the hell out of Vega and M Bison.
Well, Duke and the good guy Street Fighters did shout 'NOT!' after Duke said that sarcastic statement.
“What’s tougher than a Capcom’s Street Fighter?”
“A Street Fighter’s mother?”
“NO!!!”
You can really feel the passion when M. Bison says "but Cobra's got street fighters too!"
I'm not sure I ever really understood what he was saying until I read your subtitles.
Thank you.
@@zecmo took me a little while to figure it out haha
See, they TOTALLY could have done a live-action series.
They basically just chose not to.
These are so goddamn cheesy, I love them.
"Whats a dhalsim?"
Play street fighter 5. You'll learn real quick
OH!
I appreciate that last commercial. I know it didn't really have anything to do with Street fighter but the announcer was having so much fun.
whoever did the voiceover was having a fucking blast
Cocaine is a helluva drug..
“You know ‘em, you love ‘em!”
“SO CORRECT ‘EM!!!”
I had my first job when these guys were on deep discount at the old KB toys at the mall! Needless to say I bought all of them for my baby brother who missed out on the best gijoes zfrom the 80s!
'Incredible" doesn't begin to describe it.
cool 90's commercial.Big Fan of SF.Very pricey nowadays.Rare figures in mint condition.
Como hubiera amado un live action de GI JOE en los 90s, esos comerciales estaban re bien hechos dignos de una pelicula hollywoodense de esa epoca ademas que tenían los mismos diseños de la serie
BTW, IDW and Capcom will be putting out a six issue STREET FIGHTER X G.I. JOE crossover next year in case your interested ?
LB74 I can't expecty anythig but glorious shenanigans from this developments.
Yeah. The've put and it was a mess. Wasted potential.
0:03 LOL!!! (😂😂😂) THE "SUBALUWA" MOMENT!
Duke - "NO WAY!!!"
EDMUNO HONOA the Sumo Guy - "WAY!!"
These commercials were cool
Still a better live action Duke then Channing Tatum
was guile and duke played by the same jabroni or am i just very high
The vehicles were just repaints of:
Thunder Machine
Badger
Paralyzer
Is Duke Guile’s brother? They look so much alike 😂
Duke's real name is Conrad Hauser so mady they're cousins.
You wanna know what’s missing? Jean Claude Van Damme as Guile
Still amajority of them only 3 were new molds, But a majority of then used GI Joe bodies With new heads, plus all the vehicles were repainted from previous.
G.I in G.I Joe means Guile Impersonator
This was the moment when GI Joe officially "Jumped the Shark..."
Blankas gonna bonk ya ;)
It's a shame they did not add Cammy White there.
"Ken Master" lmao
Man if this had been live action movie id loved it. lol
“They look unbeatable…NOT!”
I love the 90's ;_;
wonderfull🙃
What actor played Duke? And I always loved "but Cobra's got Street Fighter too" great play on words
Better than the actual movie.
the one for marvel comic is the worst, corniest most campy commerical I have seen to date and *I love it!!!!* :P
-No way!
0:18 "And me, M. Bison!"
What's a Dhalsim?!
CRAAAAAPPP but so cheesy good :)
“Catch all the explosive action IN MARVEL COMICS!!!”
Marvel VS Capcom foreshadowing?!
I don't think I ever realized it may have been Hasbro's fault: it took an entire generation to get people to stop saying "rye-yoo", but even now, folks are still going "zang-geef".
I heard that these Toys are rare now
+Elijah Pittman The SF2 figures are relatively cheap nowadays.
+legorulez49 for real
I'm still wondering what street fighter has to do with GI Joe. xD
Somehow I didn't see Street Fighter crossover into GI Joe universe.
Are they led by General T.Hawk ?
What's a Rayu?
Inspired by street fighter movie
The Street fighter lines cool I've got all the figures except Ken
And then Conan shows up at the end.
Love how Guile is portrayed as the ultimate himbo.
You mean Duke?
Blanka's gonna bonk ya.
Blanka's gonna bonk ya
Fuckin NOT JOKE!🤦🏻♂️🤣
That Marvel comic. About Scarlett's "defection" to COBRA. It led to the arrival of TRANSFORMERS: Generation 2.
1:50 The Gorn!
Crimson Cruiser?
Wait a Minute.
This Duke is better than Tatum Channing.
It's lame and sad that action figure commercials end being better than expensive Hollywood movies.
These actor are far away better than the ones that appear in the GI Joe movies.
For things like this almost G. i. Joe vanished in the 90 😪
Ming-Na Wen as Chun Li
what the.....XD
I never really understood why they tried to attach Street Fighter to GI Joe, even if the toys were just recolors of GI Joe releases. The universes don't really mesh at all. That painfully 90s version of Duke really could have been playing Guile too
Stop hating on the 90's already.
@@kinnikuman-devilman_fan_2002 Parts of the 90s aged well. Not Duke being "totally radical"
Bandwagons much?
unbelievable ugly toys.
What a piece of crap, including the character's name pronunciation LOL!
これは酷い玩具です。トイザらスも扱わないてしょう。
For things like this almost G. i. Joe vanished in the 90 😪
