    4 leaves of bandanya / Culantro / recao
    1 garlic sliced
    2 hot peppers sliced
    salt to taste
    1/2 tsp Amchar Massala- optional

    It is good to see you are using salt with iodine. Because other salts do not have it. Iodine is very important for our body.

    Of d videos of doubles d you are d only I have seen one who gave measurements for each ingredient u added to ur recipe. I work in one of these doubles stall and I think ur recipe is on point, for those who think too much salt, add to your taste.

    hi natasha i have?about culantro and sado banior bandanya sorry but where i live dont have any trini market so what is replesment and if we use that is that gonna give same tast.please help and which curry powerd u use for channa

      no Culantro is Bandania not Cilantro

      you can find it in Asian supermarkets and yes you can use cilantro.

    Can I use coriander leaves instead of bandaniya? I am not sure if i get find it where I live... Is the taste of bandaniya a lot different than coriander leaves? Please let me know....

      You can use cilantro if you can get that.

    Hi Natasha,
    In this episode I heard an ingredient (Marsala) mentioned, but there was another word said with it that I didn't hear clearly. And what is it and does it come fresh (as in raw), ground, frozen. This dish looks delicious. And I will give it a try. Thank you

      Amchar Massala is a spice powder found mainly in Trinidad if you live in New York or FL you can find it there and the brand is Chief.
