- After Priority: Palaven, if you head over to Liara's office you will overhear her trying to comfort Garrus. The dialogue will completely differ depending on whether Garrus was on Shepard's team in the first game or if he was only recruited for the fight against the Collectors in the second one.

Garrus being so much less casual about it makes sense since this is the first time they've worked together under Shepard, so they haven't built that camaraderie yet.
More dialog I would have NEVER heard because I refuse to play without Garrus! 😂
There are save file editors. You could create a world state (to use the Dragon Age term) without Garrus as an import into ME2.
And 99.9% of people will never hear either

I could as I practically never used Garrus in my paragon playthrough of ME1
I am so curious about all the dialogues that Garrus would say without being recruited in ME1 but i have the feeling most of them are not that important or weird, for example how will it play once Liara and Garrus are having a drink if they don't meet to well since he wasen’t recruit it in ME1
You know this dialogue could also happen if Liara was recruit it after Virmire but it seems no 😂 and when Shepard talks about sacrificing Ash/Kaidan she has nothing to say because she hasen't meet her/him xD
I recruited liara after virmire on my 1st playthrough and she still commented on what Ashley was like when Shep mentioned her in 3, I was just sitting there thinking "you never even met her?!"

Interesting. I knew about the ME2 dialogue. But not any in 3.
How is anyone supposed to see this dialogue during a normal playthrough? I mean, come on, not recruiting Garrus is the equivalent of a war crime!

what kind of monster doesn't recruit Garrus?
Do you know if he still hooks up with Tali at the end of the game?
There are slight differences in their dialogue if Garrus wasn't in ME1, but that doesn't prevent them from ending up together.
