It's with great pleasure that I can say that I don't get to hear most of those lines.

It’s really creepy hearing Legion talk so slow and smoothly like he whispers when he’s usually as energetic when speaking like a salarian

Damn, these are all _so creepy_ and dark.
    Especially Legion’s and Wrex’s…

So, in order to experience these dream sequences, you need to have dead squadmates? But I always try to keep them alive 😂
Thanks Emily! You do awesome work with your Mass Effect content. Quality over quantity. 😇

I did a playthrough like this
    1)Ashley died on virmire
2)didn’t upgrade the ship. Jack Kasumi and Thane gone
    3)Sent Garrus into the shaft
4)Grunt got taken by the swarms
5)Zaeed took a hit and didn’t make it.
6)Miranda didn’t make it at the human reaper.
7)Only tali legion Samara and mordin made it. Rest of the crew was gone.
    8)Betrayed mordin
    9)Betrayed Wrex
10)Betrayed Tali (Legion gone by default)
    11)Let Samara “save falere”
12)Told Javik to look at the echo shard
13)3200 Ems on LE. James and Liara beam run. They didn’t make it.
14)Chose destroy. Galaxy survived by EDI did not.
Slideshow was brutal. Nothing left on tuchanka or rannoch. Only joker traynor and Javik at memorial. Was a very dark ending

Do you have a video about squadmate responses to the Avina and poverty? In ME2, bottom level of the Citadel, you can ask Avina about solutions to poverty to which she responds poverty can only be solved by "cornucopia technology". Mordin says something about how growth only comes by pushing against restraints while Kasumi says such technology would put her out of a job. Thane and Jack both respond that the owners of such technology would use it to exploit everyone else (I was surprised by their seemingly Marxist analysis, since that theme isn't brought up much in Mass Effect).

I do, it's an interesting bit of conversation. You should be able to find it if your search for Avina on the channel.

This is why in my new playthrough I want to get more companions killed, I think it will improve the games story

This is the only one good reason to be in the dream, the ASMR xD everything else seems dumb and boring, didn't even understand why Shepard hugs the kid in the end xD
Does Diana dies if you don't let her come to your ship? because i understand that she dies if she say something in the dream, all the people they die come there

    • @EmilyOnGames
      @EmilyOnGames  2 місяці тому +6

If Shepard doesn't let her join the Normandy, Diana goes on to work on a different Alliance ship which eventually gets destroyed.

      About the boy.
I always saw the concept of young, care-free children as a “human protection” kind of thing in fictional works, where the death of children, including those under the watch of certain characters hurt them, no matter how significant or insignificant they are. The closest thing it reminded me of was the movie “I Robot”.
In this context specifically of how I saw it, Shepard failed to save him when he/she had the chance to do so because of a simple distraction, saw the consequences personally and was hurt by it. The last nightmare where he/she hugs him I always thought of it as an intended hint (likely and mostly for the players) for what’s coming, which was the final moments of the game with him/her and the Catalyst’s taken form.

@@moviemaker199 I can understand that, specially if is someone else instead of commander Shepard, but once you play fully renegade to see the other side of Shepard or compare it with paragon Shepard you see like Shepard is too good at what it is, and he dosen't duel to much about stuff, i remember in ME1 if you play regenerade he was a real badass, getting things done, showing no much care, being profesional, and i like that! because it shows how good of a character he is! it gives you confides, i can see why people respect him and why his crew care about him
Now, here in ME3 i don't like how less badass he is, he shows concerns, doubts, thankfully slighty if you play renegade but yeah here is about saving people being the good guys, you don't have much to be badass, but focusing on the kid...we just meet him, we know nothing about him, and ONLY Shepard is the one who seeing it just, you can tell Garrus about it but is like..."okey good for you" you know? "I have a weird dream, oh well les't keep going" xD
I feel like the dream wasen't well written, the kid was very pointless xD BUT i like they add those whispers in the dream, very good idea

@@EmilyOnGames It's weird then that she'd be in a dream sequence. She was basically a stranger to Shepard if she wasn't let onto the Normandy.

They're still the worst dream sequences I've ever seen! The introduction of that kid (especially because of everything else that followed) was when the trilogy jumped the shark, and not the introduction of the Catalyst--which, at that point, is too late to jump the shark!
