I wonder if this was setting up some plotline meant for the conclusion of the series that never got followed up. Mordin says that humans are unique in their genetic variation compared to other species of the galaxy, and Harbinger here is shown to recognize that nascent potential. Perhaps it was meant to tie into the dark energy plotline that was established in this game and the ultimate goal of the Reapers. Makes one wonder what the third game could've been like had they the opportunity to follow through on these points.

Kelly Chambers is easily the sweetest nicest, and kindest person that is, was, or ever will be in Cerberus. Also, I love how in ME2 even very minor characters that in most games would be superfluous have a role in the story that makes us feel like they're important. For how they made Kelly Chambers so likable and made it so that she's the crewmember you interact the most with in ME2, and you see her being abducted by The Collectors, and she dies no matter what if you do even one mission after the crew getting captured. Admittedly this raises the issue with the timers in this game. However, that's mainly an issue with the fact that they tied Legion's recruitment to a mission that makes it so that you have to end the game as soon as possible, and not a problem with Kelly Chambers.

I'll admit this is one part I always take the renegade option with. Tali has worked with me enough. I usually play a decent character who just doesn't take anyone's BS. Work and genuinely cooperate (Not just "This is what you have to do and if we dont like it youre F-ed" kind of stuff) I won't threaten them. They start being jackasses and well I match their energy right back.

2:57 Jacob and Miranda are right. What was everyone supposed to do let a terrorist go free and destroy important people. Also, the only things that could've come from are his family dying or being imprisoned for life, and if they were imprisoned for life he would be the exact same way and still want petty revenge. TLDR: Forvan is just trying to make excuses on the fact that his family were a bunch of murders and terrorists, and even though their getting punished for their actions severely was bound to happen Forvan just shifts to blame to people that weren't his family even though his family were the only ones responsible for their deaths.

This dialogue was clearly written with the dark energy plot in mind.
