    Thanks so much but most importantly not leaving out the 12mm bolt…I’ve watched like 12 videos and you are the only one that pointed it out, for rushers like myself

    Thanks for your video!, for the price the shop wanted me to pay for replacing just one single arm, I replaced both myself and had still money to spare for a nice dinner with my family, I only have a jack and two stands but I could get this done, Thanks!!!

      Al my questions were answered. I saw videos where they only replaced the ball joint but they took apart half of the car and spent 3 hours or so. I did not have the tools. The whole table plus joints is about 50 dollars; so for 2 I pay 100 dollars. For two ball joints I only pay 50 dollar. SO it will cost me 50 dollar more but wil have a much bigger improvement than only one ball joint per side. ANd it looks easier. Thank you very much sir!

    Excellent video and thanks for making this procedure available! I found the viewing of certain critical phases quite beneficial when the video was run in slow motion. In addition, I found the reading of the comments section quite informative, particularly with respect to the fourth bolt (12 mm). 2024/04/28. Ontario, Canada.

    Before you tighten the rear bolt, you should load the suspension. Otherwise the bushing will be twisted and fail prematurely.

    I was just wondering what the "Lower Table" was. We call it "Lower Arm" here in Malaysia. Thank you for the great video.

    Im trying to do the passenger front lower ball joint. I removed the nut but cannot get the bolt to spin at all. I hit it with a hammer and tried to spin the nut with a 1/2" breaker bar and it will not budge.i used my air gun and i ended up stripping the bolt head. I sprayed a crap load of wd-40 on it and it will not budge. What do you recommend? I did the driver side just fine and have done many ball joints, this is the first time i have encountered such an issue. 2015 kia sorento

    Does the vehicle need an alignment after this process?

    • @JLsAutoSolution
      @JLsAutoSolution  4 роки тому +3

      It's highly suggested that an alignment be performed after replacing any suspension or steering component.

      Most likely

    • @gregmamer3822
      @gregmamer3822 Рік тому +1

      I understand the play in the ball joint would be the reason for an alignment. Are either of the 2 bolts (horizontal or vertical) position adjustable? - meaning should I have paid attention to exactly where they were positioned when I tightened them. I know some vehicles loosen and adjust those bolts for alignment, but it seems like these two were both just round holes and not adjustable.@@JLsAutoSolution

    • @JLsAutoSolution

      @@gregmamer3822 no there are no adjustments with the stock bolts. You can buy aftermarket ones for camber adjustments
