Hi Gayle I have just discovered you after many hours of searching for a good craft channel that suits me. There are so many good ones out there but I’ve been drawn towards you. I had a stroke a while back and decided to pick up my love of crafting again for therapeutic reasons. I’m just loving all the little groups of papers and fabric etc, getting them ready and making a stash before I journal. I am going to start with a garden journal as I’m a novice and it might help me keep track of my seeds and planting times. So thank you. Your knowledge is inspirational. 😂

I’m so glad you are enjoying my channel! Yes, crafting is such good therapy! When I had shoulder surgery, I jumped right back into crafting (probably sooner than I should have! Lol!) and I really believe that along with PT is why I healed so quickly and thoroughly. I’m excited that you are doing a garden journal!! I think if you search Gayle Agostinelli Garden Journal, some videos will come up that might give you some ideas to incorporate if you like. Again, welcome to my channel! I’m so glad you’re here! ❤️

You can quick change your thread on your machine by cutting the thread on your machine at the old spool. Put on the new spool and tie the thread from the old spool that is still thread in the machine to the new spool of thread using a small square knot. Then grasp the old thread at your needle and pull the old thread out of the machine. This will automatically thread your machine with the new thread. When your new thread reaches your needle. Clip the two threads apart and thread your new thread thru the needle. Be sure your foot control level is up when you do this procedure. Change your bobbin and you are ready to go. Just a tip I got a long time ago.

Gayle, I just have to say thank you for your wonderful video. I love how you are always thinking of us, your sunbird. Jimmy Joe is quite the boy I must say. I always wanted a pet but a last it’s too late for me. So enjoy 😊 all that Jimmy Joe brings to you and Mike.
Have a great day doing whatever you want. God is good to give us this new day. I am watching you making snippets and wonder if one of them will fine it’s way to me. So excited to receive my treasures from you.

this reminds me so much of our kitty Millie when she was a baby. I was looking all over for my glasses and couldn't find them in any of the usual places. Later I noticed them on the floor by my rollie cart in my craft room. I picked them up and she had chewed to shreds the plastic part that goes behind my ears!! She somehow developed a tremendous taste for any kind of plastic wiring and after losing wiring to a printer, a keyboard, the hdmi connection to the tv and the Ipad charger, we had to cover every kind of wire with plastic tubing. I was glad she didn't get electrocuted and thankfully she's grown out of the wire fetish. Now as an old lady, she just loves cellophane bags

Enjoyed watching you make your fabric clusters. I love making them too. Great way for us to use our scraps of materials.Sometimes I leave some of the threads hanging off, I think it adds a little somethings extra to them.

Thanks for another great video. I feel your pain on the ruined scissors as our new little lab thinks that my craft items are just for him. We also have Shih tzus and love them to pieces. They are such sweet little dogs and are a lot calmer than the big ones for sure, but I just love all dogs💖 I enjoyed the crafting with you and look forward to the next one. Take care sweet lady🌹

Really enjoyed this Gayle. My sewing machine has been out of action for a while but with hubby off work because of COVID he spent the afternoon in my craft room fixing it. Yaaay. I still can’t do straight stitching as apparently it’s ‘stripped a gear’ lol. Still it was just a cheaply I use for crafting, I don’t sew anything else. So todays project is stamping on fabric and making clusters and maybe making some pockets if I get time. Have to pick up medication and do a little grocery shop but who knows how long it will take with you know who in tow.😆 Thanks for your time and inspiration, love spending time with you. 💕💕💐💐💐👋🏻 from Australia.

I’m glad you had the chance to get out into your garden.
There’s a special kind of healing that happens in the garden.
I was blessed to be out in the garden for a while today too.
I was “cooking paper” (eco-dying) so spent part of the morning picking out flowers.
I’m sure loving that...done several batches. I tried some different garden flowers...but also some wildflowers (goldenrod and fireweed).
They sure made some interesting patterns on the paper!
    Be well and God bless!

Our Rescue Rex was a horrible chewer. I too lost scissor handles to him. Mechanical pencils were always fair game. During our happy hour we discussed this and figured out he must have been confused about it because we’d put the pencils by where we were working. Rex always receives a chew stick after supper. Long story long, we figured out that he thought pencils were chew sticks, too.so we planted a pencil while we were talking and “not entertaining “ him enough. We did catch him and the uh-uh-no-no came out from the 3 of us all at the same time. End of chewing pencils and scissors. But we also went to doggie school at Pet Smart for 6 weeks. Well worth it if you don’t want to kenal him whoever people come over.
