I am so happy you are loving the Wallpapers kits Gayle, you are such a sweetheart for sharing the link to the shop. It really is over and above and truly appreciated !
Those are exquisite. I looooove them. When I begin my work, I turn on your videos. You help keep me motivated doing the work I do and you also encourage me to do my best work. Thank you
Very nice clusters Gayle. I saw Rachel too and it's funny but all of you have your own distinctive style of making projects. Rachel always gravitates to the neutrals, Tina always blings everything up and you usually go for brights.
I fussy cut butterflies the past two days off, am doing small birds today, & will do the little owls from the Owl Book in the next few days. I want to make small clusters for the Envelope Notebooks for decorations. I'm done binding them, & now need to decorate them. It'll be my personal touch!! Thanks for showing us this cluster trick! It's great!!
Hi Gayle! I saw my post from last year! I've sewn all of the Envelope Notebooks & put labels in all of them. Now I'm on my second batch of clusters to put in the rest of them. Then I want to put fabric flips with Luise Heinzel's Funny Focal Points underneath!! I'm just hoping to be done by THIS Christmas (2024)!!
I am glad to see you do something someone else did. There are too many wonderful crafters on here and I can’t follow everyone. So yay for cross craftery, and a huge shout out to everyone inspiring others! Thank you! You could tear off the edges of the background layer before you stick anything down. Think that might be easier still 😄 Have a good day Gayle! ❤️
Hi Gayle, this looks fun today. Your comment about dusting really gave me a good chuckle. Since I had no sister growing up in a very traditional family, I was given the privilege chore of dusting. Every day after school, because my mother worked as well as my dad, I was required to do morning dishes and then, a few days a week, dusting. Dusting was the first chore I ever had, starting at 6. I'm thinking in those days, most girls probably started early in life with these types of chores. Just the way it was. It was fun when I first did it, but now that I'm soon to be 60, I'm with you, I'd rather be crafting. LOL. So good to know others feel the same as I do on that. Wow, all those clusters in about an hour! And so lovely, too. Awesome! 💕 Gonna go and try this out. Hope your Saturday is going well. God bless! Sue
WE had snow this morning in Boston which is very unusual! It is very hard to loose a pet for sure, i lost my 18yo cat (Baby) last year and I still think of him everyday; it is heart breaking. He was like a son to me, he grew up with my boys. On another note, I love the new way of making these cute clusters, totally Genius! my friend!
*giggling as my head bobs up and down in agreement* you are not the only one who laughs at self! Silly are we!🙈🙉🙊I listen so intently and answer you as you ask. Ya to all your suggestions! Buttons, hearts and mushrooms! For decorations. That's my 2cents for the day lol😽
You crack me up! Blew the pressure foot off! I love laughing with you! You are a bright spot in my day! I watch your videos over and over just to listen to you and I keep yout sage advice in my head. I pray your family stays safe throuh these trying times. Love from PA
You are so talented! You have such a natural eye for piecing the patterns and textures together! But what I really wanted to say is *THANK YOU* for the comment about "just doing it" !!! I get so nervous about making a mistake or wasting resources that I get frozen and can't create! This is a great way to push past that 'artist's block' 😍😍😍 thank you!
Very pretty Gayle. I've made some really pretty ones on paperclips and the tabs from soup cans, individual peach/fruit cocktail cans and closepins. They turned out really pretty. I need morecE 6000 to make more Wow I'm loving what you are choosing to embellish them with. They are awesome. I love the applicant peices !!!
Love these. Such a great idea. I was up before my husband and having a cup of coffee and watching this video. When he came down stairs you were sewing the clusters. He was like. That sounds like a model A trying to start. Are you watching a car video. He was really surprised! And I looked at him and said no dear It’s Gayle sewing paper. He just shook his head mumbling sure sounds like a model A. Then he went and got his coffee. Don’t know. Had to be here to see how cute it all was!
Watching from Australia, you inspired me to get art journalling. I was only making cards but after watching you a few weeks ago I did a craft supplies haul before we went into isolation. I love your work! Thanks for the inspiration!
Hi Gayle, hubby,,and jimmy joe,,,hope you all are well,,love your bits of papers,,great idea,I took a bunch of scraps, and joined book papers like you showed us,,makes for easy pockets, and jurnol cards,,,Tks for sharing ,take care,,hugs,🇵🇪❤️🍷💐
These clusters are really cute. Such a great idea. I’m anxious to see you work on the bee journals again. I want one so bad. Take good care. Thank you for sharing 🤗
Aw, Marilyn. I listed one bee journal yesterday and the other this morning. They’ve both sold, but I will be making more. I just love the bee theme! ❤️
Gayle, oh I missed it. Maybe next time. I called my sister Be all her life. She passed in December and I wanted to get a Bee journal in memory of her. Her name was Belinda but to me she was always Be. When we were much younger we would watch Andy Griffin and she would say I don’t want to be called Aunt Be. But, of course, she was called Aunt Be when my son was born and she loved it. Such precious memories. 🐝🐝🐝. Thank you for letting me reminisce with you dear Gayle 🤗
Hi Gayle. I just love to watching you and learning more ideas 💡 from your wonderful video. And watching your videos makes me laugh, you’re so funny 😂 you make my day!Im really appreciate your work.
I love these! I visited the Etsy shops and purchased a few things. I can’t wait to try this and the other video I watched, of folded glue pages of collages. I’m organizing all my digital downloads. So I can grab them and start gluing. I make my own envelopes and made pretty ones with the fussy cuts of each type in them paper clipped with 1 of those items. Lined them up and they didn’t take up a lot of space. Made me super happy to get them organized. You inspire me all the time. Thanks for all your videos.
Hi Gayle, I watched this on my TV last night and thought what a great idea. I've got paper and scraps to try it out. Like you, it's been a long time since I did any embroidery, but I'm sure I will find something to decorate. Thank you for all your Insparations.
Such a great idea and it’s like doing a master board. With the blank pieces of paper you could stamp on them or stencil...adding this idea to my to do list..I’m behind in watching videos, working on some journals and spring cleaning...best time to do it since we’re all on lockdown..stay well and be safe. 👍🌸🌸🌸
what a great idea....i am always up for making things easy with great results.....thank you Rachel and Gayle....I will fur sure be trying this method....beautiful job Gayle
Love this idea! I just this afternoon “sorted” what seemed like a million pieces of paper and now I have a place to use them up right away. A great stash manager. Haven’t seen Rachel’s video yet, but will look for it after yours. Thanks for all you do for our crafting community! ❤️
What an idea! Loved it and will definitely do it myself. But, my best laugh of the day...”well, Jimmy Joe actually eats his bed” 🤣😂🤣😂 great video Gayle!
My little Yorkypoo ( Half Yorkshire Terrier and half toy poodle was allergic to 31 different things. From grass to most food. So I learned to give her two shots a week. She got lamb and rice dog food. And her treats were French fries. She lived for nineteen years. She was after two St. Bernard. Now we have a beagle. Love you snippet new way sheet.
Love this idea Gayle!!! I haven’t seen Rachel’s video yet, but I’m keen to watch her process also. I feel like tearing dies would work best for me also. I really love the Faith, Hope, Love cluster. Ohhh - look Ma... no hands!!! Hahaha - sewing like an expert. 🤣😂🤣 I must say, no inking is kind of strange for me. I would have to try to see if I can cope with no ink lol. Having said that, I thought it would be an issue for me with the Book Page Snippet Rolls... but it hasn’t lol. I used to worry about what I would do with all my paper scraps, but there are so many fun and fabulous ideas out there now that I’m often wishing I had more scraps lol. Oh - and Rachel also has me playing with embroidery. Who knew!!! 🤷🏼♀️ hehehe. TFS!!! Hugs, Sharon 🌷💜
Hello Gayle, I love bright colours. I also watched Rachel’s . They were very pretty, too . I really like the lace you put on them . They turned out absolutely beautiful. Stay safe . Blessing 💞 💕 💞
Your clusters are lovely! I just had to give it a try and I really enjoyed making them. Thank you for sharing, your videos are like sitting with a friend, so inviting.
Your snippets are so lovely! I adore them! I saw Rachel’s video too and thought they were genius but I love your idea to cut them before sewing … so much easier for me to manage! Now I really have to try these! Great job! You always inspire me to try new things with my own little spin on it! Wishing you many blessings and big hugs! 🤗🤗🤗
these are wonderful Gayle - i also had seen Rachels video - now i really need to try this lol - i love how you both put your own personal touch on them - thank you and be well xx
I also did this after watching Rachel! I cut the sheet into strips before sewing to make it a little easier. Then I cut one strip apart to sew in a spiral pattern. It was awesome to get so many embellishments done at once. Another clear the desk method as well!
Woow Cherie! Gracias Chica, Good Idea! I'm very relax... 🎶
