As I listen to Mr. Santoshi, my mind races back to 1994, watching it then in a small dingy hall (there were no multiplexes in those days, At that time I was in a north eastern city in India). Me and two of my school mates, we were in class eleven then, there were hardly 10 people in the cinema hall.

Sunny deol had stunned everyone with his performance in Ghayal. It was surprising or rather shocking that Andaz Apna Apna was not a blockbuster hit at that time just like Ghayal .

Rajkumar santoshi narrating the dialogues with such enthusiasm and joy is such a great sight. Its proof that he wrote these dialogues and scenes with love and dedication to the genre that he was working on. Truly one of the greatest comedy films of all time.

Rajkumar Santoshi is a real creative director....he knew almost every dialogue of the movie! He is couregious to Advise Salman and Aamir to explore and grow as the actor. 300crore+ movies which are of similar kind is not helping them to explore their true potential! Well said Sir!

AAA is not a movie... it’s a whole wide world where every 90’s kid would simply love to live in..! A saga, a bible of comedy, a Big Bang theory of humour..!!!! Simply outstanding... each and every second of this saga is a laugh which can continue for more than a day..!

Not even one vulgur joke in a 3 hour movie, more than a dozen talented actors, and the relevance that this movie has in our lives till today ❤️ I've literally lived on this movie! There never has been and never will be another Andaaz Apna Apna!

Even at 44 mins, felt like it wasn't enough and could have gone longer. This conversation also confirmed that Andaz Apna Apna did not turn out to be what it is accidentally. Thank you Raj ji for this immortal gem and Rajeev for bringing this conversation to us 👏

After watching the interview it looks like watching AAA again. In every decade there was some movies which became Classic like in 70's Chupke Chupke & Golmaal, in 80's Angoor & Chashme Baddoor & in 90's its one & only Andaz Apna Apna. I had matches it countless of times but still it feel like Fresh. Raj ji was right comedy require Innocence then only it touches the audience's heart... I personally used some dialogues from AAA like aaila & aap purush nahin mahapurush hain in my work life just for the humour & nobody feel offended about it thats the hall mark of neat & clean comedy which you can use in day today life. Whenever I feel tired I watched comedy movies & AAA is one of those rare movies which gives me relief from my tiredness... Thanks a lot to team AAA for this wonderful & memorable movie which I can watch with my whole family👨‍👩‍👧‍👦.....🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

The way Santoshi saab is enacting the scene, it is clear how well he would enact the scene to Aamir, without which the comedy wouldn't have been that good. His style is unique. The best comic role of Aamir ever. His best during the 90's by far, otherwise he seemed rather serious then.

I really loved this film when I watched it during my college days and many times afterwards till date.
As a writer I had lot of learnings from this interview on dialogues writing for comedy in films .
As a Writer and Director Mr. Rajkumar Santoshi Sir is sharing all his experiences with all honesty and simplicity. Even though film took three years to get completed but it had an excellent team.
Best thing of this interview is he still remembers most of the dialogues and sequences. Hats off to Mr. Rajkumar Santoshi’s vision of creating this marvellous masterpiece.
    God Bless You Sir🙏
