In the long list of movies that Mehul Kumar made, only “Tiranga” & “Krantiveer” stand out from the rest. Even these weren’t very great films but they became popular because of the subject, star casts and heavy dialogues. Mehul Kumar must be appreciated for making B-grade movies with A-grade stars. It was quite obvious that he couldn’t recreate the same magic again and again like Manmohan Desai. There’s a limited viewing for these kind of subjects and the creators can’t keep making same over and over again. His accomplishments apart from getting Nana-Rajkumar and AB-Nana is that he made movies in controlled budget and in fixed time span in a time where stars worked on their moods. I don’t think he should be directing any more movies. His legacy would always be associated with Tiranga and Krantiveer!
कितने सदा व्यवहार, मेहुल कुमार जी ने जो उच्चाई पर है आज के करण जौहर जैसे छक्के कभी भी नहीं पहुँच सकता है. मेहुल जी को पता है की जनता साफ सुथरी पिक्चर देखना चाहते है. एक तरफ़ मेहुल जी की पिक्चर और आज की पिक्चर जिसमे औरते शाराब पी रही होगी, हीरो हेरोइन का कोई चरित्र नहीं. आज के डिरेक्टर बनाते हिंदी पिक्चर है और डालते है पंजाबी फुआड गाना वो भी खलिस्तानी सुअरो द्वारा गाया हुआ. मेहुल जी आप पिक्चर बनाओ हम सह परिवार देखेंगे
