Learn the exact blueprint I used to go from a struggling videographer, to running a profitable video production business, in this one-hour free training. www.filmmakingmentor.com/Video_Production_Accelerator_Opt_In
Man, I can't express how refreshing it is to find a youtube channel that openly discusses this kind of material. I literally never buy courses online, but I saving up for your one. If this is the kind of information you give away for free, I can only imagine how comprehensive your paid materials are. Huge respect!
Awesome video! Would you recommend excluding 18-24 for those of us that target B2B? If so, I unselected it under the ad groups audiences tab by clicking 'Edit demographics', but I'm not sure if that is just to exclude for reporting purposes or it actually removes it from the bidding. Thanks!
Hi Saj, thank you so much for making this video! It learned opened my eyes and allowed me to gain new perspectives. Definitely saving this video for later so that I can implement it. Thank you for your efforts! :)
Perfect! Great start. Love the Live premiere feature that you're using I wish I had caught you at the time you were going live cuz I do have some questions. Mainly my questions have to do with where approximately are you located are you in the United States or canada? If not Canada what do you know about city of production company startups in either Toronto or Vancouver Canada? Thanks for your time and all the effort you put into this as somebody in this industry I understand how little free time you have and I appreciate you sharing some of it with us. As always of course I'm subscribed and I was like and share your videos with other people also in the industry or trying to get into the industry. Keep up the good work:-)
How could I show the benefit / value of a 'how to' product video? It's not necessarily an because its targeted audience are people who already have the product but need/want helps and tips
Thanks for this helpful info. I'm working on my Google Ads today. Regarding marketing for video production, do you have any thoughts about weather or not to use your personal image (headshot) on your website and other materials?
I don’t like to do that since I don’t want my clients to think that they will work with me. It helps with scaling. But if you are doing the work and are client facing, I don’t see the harm. It’s more of a scaling issue later on
@@Filmmakingmentor Thanks, I appreciate the response. I've moved my headshot from the home page and I'm adding an "About" page where I'll appear in "The Owner" section
Absolutely a lot of informations here … Can’t know how we can thanks you for all your efforts. I just have one question: after you getting the information of the clients… what’s the next step ? We have to call them ?
Hey Saj, excellent content! Really inspiring. I just had one question... When you offer these marketing packages, is your service solely the production of the videos themselves? Or do you also handle the posting/sponsored advertising with the videos for the clients as well?
I only do the video creation and provide the asset to them. I tried going down the road of being a marketing company and actually provide the rest of the funnel, but I don’t currently do that. I do educate them on the possible uses for the videos though as part of the package
Thank you for the infos Saj! Your channel is precious! Let me ask you, can you really garantee to the prospect that you will bring more clients based solo in videos? Or do you offer some ads services too, like you are doing for yourself? How do you set these expectations?
I used to set up the whole thing and run more of a video marketing agency. Nothing was guaranteed but they would not renew on an ongoing basis if I couldn’t deliver results in a specific time frame. These days, it’s just video production services but I made it clear that we don’t run ads or handle the marketing side. I do lose some leads that need a done for you marketing solution, but it’s far less overhead and I can handle more clients. As long as it’s clear to them that they are responsible to hire a marketing company or handle the marketing in-house using our videos, I haven’t had any issues on the expectation side.
If you can do it all, you can typically get them on an on-going retainer. But you will become more than a video production company. Some people prefer this path
I went to your web page to see how much the package was that you have to offer just shy of $1,500 did make my jaw drop a little 😅 as I've only just started building up my gear is more important at this stage. I can't spend that sort of money on a course at this time but this information is extremely helpful. Opened my eyes for sure
I do have a free training on my site that is a compressed version of the training. And my course is design to land you 5k plus clients. So even if you get one client, it pays for itself. If you’re in my email list, I do run two big sales each year and I’m going to break up my smaller courses into their own mini course you can buy.
@@Filmmakingmentor well I am guessing your main source of income at least lately has been coming majorly from this $1500 course? If not, if you make six figures or close a year only with video production, why do you need to sell courses? Especially at a price which excludes most beginners who have no idea.
Reach out to a friend or family member that had a business and shoot a free marketing video for them. Copy the style of other marketing videos online. Then reach out to similar businesses, using that sample to get them to pay you for something similar. Then do more and more of those in the same industry and continue to change more each time.
I’m not affiliated with google or get anything for making this video. It just happens to be the best way to get clients. I don’t know about you, but I use google when I’m looking for anything
I understand, I just have avoided google ads. I realize the potential ofattracting clients using and will give it a try based on your advice. I have an aversion toward google for various reasons. Any marketing advice to atract clients is welcomed, thank you.
You can use other ad platforms as long as you use a clear niche and have a good landing page that clearly shows the value of your video package. Google/UA-cam ad platform is the biggest but LinkedIn and Instagram are pretty powerful too. There are other ways to drive traffic to your website or landing page without ads, but they take much longer. That’s why I titled this fast way to get clients

I just have one question: after you getting the information of the clients… what’s the next step ? We have to call them ?
Yea you set up a call and discuss their needs for a video and offer some options
What’s better for generating clients Facebook or google ads
for video clients, I like Google way more. I only use Facebook ads for lower tier offer that have mass market appeal
Thank you!
Thank you

Saj, can you make a video on how to get clients without a website?
You can simply used LinkedIn outreach or cold emailing but why not make a website? Takes a few hours to have a nice looking website

I did the 500 dollar thing but how do i access the 500 they give
How do you start from nothing. No previous clients or reel etc

Wow. Yeah it sucks that you have to invest, but you could also spend hundreds of hours cold emailing, costing so much more.
