- Let me share the fastest way to get video clients. You can use this right after watching this video.
Using Linkedin is the fastest way for getting video clients. Let me break down exactly how to land clients with Linkedin.
First, you need to think of a niche. For example, law firms are a great niche when starting out. Restaurants are another easy-to-target niche.
The reason for picking a niche is so you can tailor a message that resonates.
Next, you can use a Linkedin search to find the ideal prospects or leads.
You can use some search shortcuts here to find the ideal person.
In the case of law firms=, I know I want to find partners or owners as they are the decision-makers in most law firms.
Quoted searches: For an exact phrase, enclose the phrase in quotation marks. For example, type "product manager"
OR searches: Type the word OR (capital letters) to see results that include one or more items in a list. This typically broadens your search results. For example, "sales OR marketing OR advertising”.
AND searches: AND searches: Type the word AND (capital letters) to see results that include all items in a list. This typically limits your search results. For example, "accountant AND finance AND CPA".
Once you find the ideal person, you can connect with them.
Make sure to add a personalized note here and it will improve your chances of a connection.
You can sort your search by connections too and only contact people you have a 1st or 2nd-degree connection with.
This is a numbers game. As long as you send a personalized message, you should be getting a 10-20% response rate.
The next step is turning those into qualified leads and selling them your video production services.

I'm amazed because these tips narrowed down the big pool of prospects efficiently. This is a great way to win more valuable clients, man!
Very good content, this is probably the best help I have found yet with my video production company. Thank You!
Great video. We would love to see your example of the initial note you add with your connection request. … Or maybe just reply here with an example?
Great video. Any exemple of letter you are writing in the notes?
This is great idea, thanks, but you don't mention that searching for people is limited on a basic or free account. After a hadnful of searches, you'll get this message, which I just got:
"You’ve reached the monthly limit for profile searches. Upgrade to Premium Business to search and browse without limits."
I'm not sure how you're connecting and messaging 100's of people using this method, unless you're paying for a premium account?
Really curious to see an example of what you SAY to these people. I always feel like I'm either being too vague when I avoid sounding "salesy" and then I feel like I'm going too hard when in the opposite direction.
How do you approach these prospective clients? What do we say?
Love this. I never knew how people would use linked in to get work. This is great. Any examples of what you’d say in a connection request. It’d be cool to see you analyze someone’s linked in profile and key things you look for etc.
Love your content
I was thinking the same thing. What do you say that is effective enough not to be ignored.
@@ramvisionmedia You provide examples of your work is IMO the one big thing.
will this work for more urban creative stuff like music videos
Your UA-cam channel is such a gold mine for helpful information, I haven’t even watched the video yet but I’m confident it’s going to be a banger based on previous videos. I just wanted to send some love and thanks for your hard work!
Thanks man. I think this one is a really useful one
Could you do a video on how to write gas and equipment off on our taxes?
I’m gonna see if I can get my accountant on here to do a Q&A at some point
This was great because it felt like it built on previous content talking about cold outreach via Linkedin. It would be helpful to have some examples of messages/how to connect with folks. Or that could be a whole different video! Thanks for making this
Why am I not seeing a "Location" button? I think that is a basic need in my search. I'm getting results from 10,000 miles away!
What about the "You don’t have access to this profile" error? Do you have or have to have a Premium account setup for this method? i can search and drill down but then I can't look at a thing.
Linkedin doesn't let me view these people, says I have to broaden my network.
I love this. I have the same problem and hope this video will help my business
We didn't know about these search operators on LinkedIn, but this thing can be a game changer. Thank you!
You’re content is excellent. Keep it up🎉
I don't see how this is the fastest way lol
Do you offer internship opportunity at you company ?
Great and valuable video!!! Thanks for sharing your knowledges 😊
What if i am just a video editor, and don't come out and help people record the content?
You can hire other freelancers to handle the shooting. I know a few editors that run a company and only do editing. They hire shooters to handle the rest once they land clients

How? Paying Video Clients!
I pay THEM!?
I just stumble across your videos. Thank you so much for giving some direction. I have a question for you. You've mentioned that when you started you niche was making videos for lawyers. Do you have a sample of some of that work? Id love to see what you've created.
Just Sub! That's some crazy usefull tips! THX!!!
This is single-handedly one of the greatest videos on the internet, the amount of game you just drop is unbelieve & I greatly appreciate it!
Great content ! Question ? What about festivals ? Who would I try to reach out to if I want to do more event videos ?
Great video, I would love for you the gives us some examples of what you type in that first message that you mention something valuable for both.
Thank you for sharing this technique in details! Haven’t tried it before and definitely will.
Thank you for sharing this technique
Great contents as always. Has a filmmaker this will helps a lot
Super Duper helpful, thank you Saj.
Fantastic video, thank you so much.
Thanks a lot. That was exactly what i needed
Great stuff. Recommend including links to work in the note?
Not on the connection request but I do sometimes on the follow up.
Do you need Linked in Premium or Sales Navigator to do this?
No this should be the free option. Sales navigator does give you a lot more search options though and in-mail credits
Do you have any examples of what kinds of specifics you will include in your Linkedin message to tailor it to certain businesses?
I think i break it down in my detail on the free training on my website but I don’t think I’ve made a UA-cam video yet on messaging
@@Filmmakingmentor Okay so we will find that on the 1 hour training?
How many connections would you say you need to make to get one meeting/call Saj? Great video as always
For every 100 attempts, I like to try to get 20 connections. From those 20, I like to get 5 meetings and turn of those meetings into a client. That's around 1% closing rate from a 100 targeted prospects. But you can improve to 2% when fine tuning the message. With better offers, it can go even higher.
@@Filmmakingmentor Thanks Saj, with a 1% close rate, doesn't this make it quite easy to burn through potential prospects within a targeted niche?
Are you using your personal profile or company profile to do this method?
It’s gonna come from the personal profile with this option. I only use my business one for organic posting and to link it to my personal
@@Filmmakingmentor thank you for the help!
Thank you for sharing this! Been thinking how can I improve building my client base on LinkedIn. This is so helpful!
May I ask for example of the notes you send with the connection request? 🙏
I've repurposed some of these. For best results, I recommend segmenting people to a list of 50 at a time and trying a different message to the first 50 and the second 50 to see which works best.salesbread.com/60-linkedin-connection-request-message-templates/
@@Filmmakingmentor Thank you!!!
This is a game-changer for me. For the past 3 days, I have been searching on Instagram and Linkedin for clients. On Linkedin, I searched under companies instead of people, Thanks for the OR, AND tip, that helps. When you search and find a potential client do you record it in a spreadsheet?
Yea it’s good to keep a spreadsheet so you can follow up with them
I will give this ago next week. Coming into the winter soon, and all the nice outdoor projects will be coming to a end, and we all need new gigs. I have never tried this via inkedin "YES" I will definitely do this next week. Thanks for your time, help, and your info here....
Great. Let me know how it goes
How did it go ?
