Garmin in boring, eh? Sorry, I am competing in my 7th month-long step competition within the Garmin challenges arena and having a blast! As for the lap button, what I meant was that for years Galaxy Watches lacked one important feature: 1. the workout lap button Whether the human is running, cycling, walking, jogging, or just moving. There often the need to click, "lap" and log that portion of the workout. For me it is when I'm walking and something changes in the workout. Or during a lap-swim workout and I want to log precisely every 100 meters in the pool. Apple Watches finally received a "segment" software button that is visible in most workout modes over 18 months ago. I do not understand what is taking the multi-billion dollar Samsung organization so long. They could easily program the new side button to become a lap button for the Galaxy Watch Ultra. I know several programs that could type an easy 100 lines of code to enable this feature invented on Timex watches over 22 years ago...
@PeterHerget Thanks. So, I run track, and my workouts involve lots of intervals. You're saying this watch would not work with, say, 10x400's with a timed lap recovery? Thanks.
@@fidelbanuelos9601 for outdoor running, yes, you could use the GPS distance to auto-lap at a desired distance. However, it was an indoor track or treadmill, yeah, you would have to use some other method.
I gave it more thought and true innovation by Samsung or Garmin would be a battery that chargers itself just like the SWATCH watches from over 11 years ago with the self-winding hardware. I nearly backed a watch that charges itself using the heat from the human skin, but backed out and saved my $$$ money. I ordered the newly announced TicWatch Atlas, yes, that should be a fun watch to test in 2024...
@@PeterHerget I felt that Coros Vertix 2s is showing higher heart rate for a regular walk at least +20 bpm. I noticed it many times. Dis you experience such anomaly?

Nice format and I liked how quickly you did your running vlog.
Thanks for the compliment! My aim was to have a much short vlog.
I don't mind charging the watch nightly. Also, Garmin is...boring. And, at 22:18, what did you mean by the Ultra not having a lap button???

@@PeterHerget Thanks, sub'd.
Thank you.
Another great video about your many watches.
Yes, I enjoy wearing lots of watches, and it is even more fun to talk about them!
I think they will introduce rotating crown( like Apple and Coros ) in Galaxy watch ultra 2. The action button will be rotatable.
That would work for me 97% And do you think they could add a manual "lap button" like Timex watches had back in the year 2002?
@@PeterHerget one feature at a time. What else is Innovation? 😂😂
Okay, I will impatiently wait for slow innovation ;)

The Suunto race is much cheaper and has a much better screen. I will not buy the enduro 3 watch.
The Suunto Race, eh? I have yet to test that watch and you have spiked my curiosity…
I think Garmin is more accurate but they really do need cellular
Yeah, all in all Garmin, COROS, and Amazfit appear to be better with sports than Samsung. I do enjoy seeing the Watch Ultra on my wrist 🤓

@@SS-kg8qw I hope he compares the Garmin Enduro 3 to the new Apple Watch 10 😄
I did not notice 20 beats difference with the heart rate, sorry. And you were comparing the Coros Vertix 2s to the Galaxy Watch Ultra during a walk?
