Yesterday was my birthday, I turned 66, I am not afraid to say it. I want to feel amazing always and forevermore…. To take care of me and manage all the parts of aging. It is grand! Writing out things is so very important. Being realistic and excited, about the next chapter..😊

I am so happy I found your channel as you’re a beautiful role model for me at 63. I’ve gone through lots of change these last 3 years, which includes starting my own business “Inner Wild Woman Studio” facilitating women’s circle and workshops which has been my calling 🙏 I will definitely be referring women to your site. Keep up the inspiring words of wisdom ❤️

For the past couple of months, I've been involved with looking after my oldest daughter and two grandsons who were in a car accident. Someone ran a red light at speed and straight into them. Thank goodness, all are doing well. During this time, I've been chauffeur, cook, keeping up with laundry, shopping, the list goes on. Hubby and our younger daughter helped out too. I'm so grateful we were there to help. I was so immersed in everything that I think I've lost myself a little. It's time for me to reboot. So, thank you for this timely video, Margaret ❤

The change in my life at 71 is that I am a widow now. I have made many friends and I am doing things I would not have left my husbands to do! Yes two! I was so devoted to them and in the end caregiver. This time is for me, I will travel and try somethings I have never done. Thanks to you always for the inspiration.

Hats. Hats. 👒 👒 wearing hats for health and pleasure. Receive many compliments from men and women. I feel good wearing my hats.❤
Yes your hair style compliments you. Also, how true to listen to ones body. Daily walk in the morning is a great time to reflect. Shaking things up is fun. 60's oldie goldie is great. I dance to the beat and feel good. It amazes the younger generations that we have rhythm. 😊😅is 🎶 🎵 ❤

Hi, I moved to a small town in rural New Zealand about 3 years ago. Living in a small town always offers situations to get comfortable with that which you mightn't have chosen. In the past I have done big moves etc, but being in this social environment means hanging out with people that if I was in a big city, I wouldn't. In a small town I try to get on with everyone. That takes discipline. There are a few that have made it their mission to be nasty. But mostly this acceptance works well. It is a challenge - especially during Covid 19. I'm 66 now, I'm on my own journey, that's for sure. Forthright is how I'm described by those that like me. lol.
I'll reflect on your 'talk' and what is in there that might be talking to me. (I'm going to offer advice to you. Please ignore it, if it doesn't resonate. It is trust your intuition. I'm wondering if sometimes you have the urge to speak from inspiration. For example, when I speaking to someone and it matters, I will frequently say something that I didn't know but once I hear it, I know it is correct and useful. - just a thought.)

Wonderful Margaret and I strongly suspect one of your Sacred Gifts is encouragement! The early part of my life was traumatic and I had a victim mentality for many years. The last vestiges of that time in my life were shattered last year, by leaping out of my comfort zone and driving across Canada, from BC to Newfoundland, alone. It has prompted me to come out of retirement, at 71 and restructure a workshop I developed and taught 15 years ago, and I am gearing it towards senior women now, in the hopes of helping our wonderful generation live the rest of our lives thriving, feeling on purpose and fulfilled. 🚐🇨🇦❤️

Thanks for these reminders! I love turning women over 50 onto running (and walking) longer distances. Most of us don't think that we can run (especially as we age) and it's not true! Such a great way to get out of your comfort zone and do something you never thought you could. Agree that getting out of your comfort zone is a way to increase confidence too. Lessons learned from running journey can be applied to life too. Keep inspiring!

One way is to get to your natural bodyweight and go to the gym. It shows on the outside then that you have self respect. I mean from a health perspective primarily. Not appearance. But exercise also helps with self esteem massively because it releases beta endorphin which is the chemical responsible for self esteem

Sixtyandme is such a large community now. The best option is to join our Patreon Supporters group. We do live shows twice a week and many women all around the country are getting together for coffee and chats and even traveling together. We don’t have local ambassadors, or any organization on the ground, so this is the best way I can suggest to connect .
