I see multiple videos like this. Its generates uneasiness for me. House gates a.k.a. driveway gates MUST have two doors, left and right. You should have designs - your chosing - where you can see through the gates. SECURITY at all times.
Then you can add automation IN ADDITION TO manual operations.
One further item. When insidious criminal practices are universal, don't make it easy for them.

This is a fantastic solution, minimise the amount of rails and posts too. The wheels will be under severe weight so interesting to see what the lifetime of them are like.

Why?
No spacing between the wood planks i think, it will expand and crack
I have several installs of this nature that are years old and doing fine, even in salt conditions. Not sure why you feel that way.
