Honestly, I don’t believe posing and lighting were issues. You are considerable smaller size than your competition and you admit you like to stay lean. Maybe venture out of that look a bit. Also I know that Paul R’s girls are often skinny/tiny, maybe you want to entertain getting another coach that can help you to get fuller, not just by increasing carbs the day before the show. You really need to actually put on more muscle.
@@torbit I wasn’t making any excuses with posing and lighting. I agree with my placing and I agree with my judge’s feedback.
Paul is amazing and one of a few coaches that actually cares and doesn’t give his clients a drug protocol. I have made crazy improvements over the years...I’m natural and growing muscle will take time. I’m patient and ok with the fact that I will need longer improvement seasons. I love what I do and I’m in it for the long haul. ✌🏽

#1. Judges couldn't see you. #2. Messed up your number when filling out the judging forms. (Trying to figure out where the error happened in judging, because your physique is ON POINT!) So sorry that you didn't get the outcome you wanted from the judges, but you ROCKED it. And we're all here to tell you that you're NUMERO UNO in our book.

Competing is always a learning process. Manipulating food and water for how ur own body reacts to things is the hardest part to get right. Once you figure it out you will be well on your way.

I know this video is from forever ago so who knows if you will even see this. But I am officially 2 weeks out from my first ever show - also a vegan (since 2016!). I wanted to prepare myself no matter what I get/place. You being able to be raw and cry on camera and express your thoughts and emotions really hit my heart. You are such an inspiration and of course I want to win, but at least I feel comfortable with not winning knowing others have gone through those feelings before. Ps: your videos are getting me through my cardio sessions!!

That broke my heart to see you cry. I can't imagine how you felt . Your so beautiful and your hard on yourself. You looked amazing. You have to remember, regardless if you won or not you need to give yourself a huge amount of credit for having the courage, restraint, focus, and drive to do what you did. Preparing for that is something that not just anyone can do. What you have to go through to prep is extremely hard. Just that alone makes you a winner. You never gave up. You never failed. You are a winner in a lot of people's eyes. Your not defined by what these judges think you are. Sometimes its confusing as to how they judge you girls. So it really depends upon the judge not a criteria. And to me that's not fair. You could have placed different if it was different judges. That right there tells you a lot. You girls are constantly trying to change your bodies for many different people. And at the end of the day you all look amazing. All you should be competing with is yourself. If you want to try and change your body do it for you. I know that was a lot but I haven't really seen many girls cry in these videos cry and when I saw you cry I could see the disappointment and hurt in your eyes. I hope you have a really good support system around you. Your beautiful and strong. Keep up the amazing work. God bless you girl!

The IFBB is so tough!!! You have amazing musculature and should be extremely proud of your physique!! One good thing about bikini is that the the "ideal" criteria is always changing, so the next show or the next year your look could be the one they are looking for... I love to watch all your videos, especially the off season improvement, so hopefully you'll have more time now to share how you build :) :) :)

I never ever thought I would see you cry in a video. Just because of the fact that you are so strong inside and out. I think this is one of the hardest parts of competing, letting the judges ( or judgment, rather) determine your worth. You can't win them all girl, and that goes for anything in life. I have to remind myself the same thing. We are perfectionists...especially as bodybuilders. I adore you and you are an icon and idol to so many people Natalie. 2020 is such a crap year anyways so just blame it on that Lol. Keep your beautiful head up. I know that feeling so well and it sucks .. it’s such a subjective sport and it’s all down to the individual judges on the day , you ALWAYS shine .. my god I wish I had your stage presence ❤️ it’s easy for people who don’t compete to say all the right things at a time like this but it does hurt to come last , I’ve only done 2 years competing and I experienced this in my last show a year ago and it was so horrible especially as I came first and got my pro card in that federation the show before so I know ( albeit at a much lower level than you are ) how bad it feels .... trust me I have followed everything you do for 3 years I’m vegan too and you are such an inspiration to me doll .. keep shining because you are AMAZING ❤️🤘

I think you are very courageous and that is half the battle in this sport. For you to cry your tears in front of all tells me you are real and raw and that is what makes us human. You will only be good enough when you say you are good enough. I do not understand the last call outs but I am not the judge. You are perfect. This sport can really mess with your head. As an older athlete I know how that feels. I have competed and won and lost some. Been at the top and the bottom. At the end of the day we are athletes and we view the world differently and that is what makes us special. Fitness is life no matter if you are prepping, doing a show, having an off day, going for a walk, going for a run. Fitness is life. Some day you will understand what your true influence is and I have a feeling it is not going to be about getting a medal at a show. You are real, you are true. You can be trusted. Cannot say that about many of the pros. That is true character and will always and forever mean more than any judges feedback or competition.

First I want to tell you that as a fellow Puertorican and Vegan, I luv you and think you are fantastic. Now for the hard truth, you are not listening to the feedback that you are getting. You must change your caloric intake and training so you can get the size and volume in your muscles that the judges have repeatedly been telling you that you need. It looks like you are in a caloric deficit all the time. Keep at it and good luck next time😘

I do listen to feedback...I am NOT always in a deficit (that would be very irresponsible of me)...that's why I took a year away from competing, to improve, to eat at a surplus, to build, to have balance...(I gained weight during my last offseason and make significant improvements) The sport is always evolving...I'm a natural athlete...its just going to take more time, and I am ok with that. I'm entering my 4th "long off season/improvement season" now. I'm excited to get back to work and grow!

In a sport where the standard is constantly changing, it is frustrating to strive for the look that wins for the current season. Even if you put on more muscle, your overall frame is petite and you see it more when you’re stacked against the other women so it makes you look even smaller. I know that sucks too but I’m sure you and Paul will make something happen. You looked gorgeous and I loved the natural hair and curls! You have a beautiful soul Natalie so keep up the good work.
