Would definitely appreciate an interior /reupholster on this car. I think this build is so sick. Hope the exterior gets a wrap or paint in the end she’d be a beaut.
Well an upholstery video would be cool sure I’d like to see that. BUT, you know what I’d REALLY like…. ….a new update video on THIS CAR PERIOD!!! I mean what the…. ….it’s been 5 months plus since we have had any kind of update or progress video of any kind my man. Why? What’s the dealio? I for one was quite invested in this series and everything going into making this vehicle what it is?
This video is an inspiration to keep making progress on my build, keep up with the details along the way, working through the problems. Need to hear this run the echo from the Narrows Bridge
I think an upholstery vid would be great. I’d love to see the color scheme come together on such an awesome interior. That is if you decide to keep the seats…
Magic hands,I like what you did to make the shift lever fit the oem interior of the 240 sx,but a tear went down my face when you cutted the carbon fiber hood, but this project is so complicated that sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!!!And yes I would like to see a video about the interior,so that it matches with the nismo seats!!!
To answer your question on the seats. The Juke RS seats are definitely sportster CS seats, you will need the $350 bases to be basically stock CS seats. The 370z nismo seats have a back shell of a CS seat but it’s been cut at the top by a couple inches, I would assume to clear the roof. Hinge is different than the Juke RS. The Juke RS seats can be modified to add the folding option handles. The 370z do not fold. The bases on the 370z nismo are closer to a CS cross base vs the sportster.
So far so good..the seats don't look bad..all you need is about another 1 1 1/2 or 2 lowe and you will be good.. definitely gonna be a good swap when it's done.🏁👍🏽
See, you definitely live up to the channel's name! Scrap life... A perfect carbon hood ready to bolt to scrap! Way to go Couldn't you think of picking a carbon hood with a different design? Like with an elevated duct to clear on the V10's head? Try to use metal hood and fab your own duct? Definitely not the right way of doing things But its your money dude
You should have been able to slowly grind off the original welds on the shifter arm in order to retain the pin for strength and then flip it and weld it back on. Wanna see how this turns out, hoping it all works out really good. Wanna see more of the Corvette and 3000gt as well.
If you bought the Origin 2 hood it would have fitted without cutting, it has a large hump in the center without those vents. It has vents way up near the windshield.
@@mathiasnkristensen to you, and JDM fanboys, yes. The demon is going to be one hell of a build if completed, I dont think you guys understand how cool that will be.
@@roemalo4331 I am in no way a fanboy. It's just that a V10 in a "regular" car is way cooler than building up something to it's original form. With the 240 there is so much fabrication and uncertainty, that it's so much more exciting when they finally solve problems. With the demon you know that it's possible. It's not a one off like the 240.
You should drop off the hood with the pieces for the intake box I’m sure they could work some magic to get rid of the hole. Maybe turn the large vent into two separate vents going off to the sides and add a bit of material to the middle
I have a viper t56 in my cuda and used a mustang shifter... can't remember which model off hand, but wasn't offset like the viper and worked much better for me.
Reading comments and thinking, I believe getting it to run and drive is way more important than thinking about doing the interior. But that's just me. lol.
Please change the seats to that awesome 90's bus texture that would fit the car so nicely! ( lot's of grey with weird fireworks designs, or weird geometry shapes.) If you know you know.
Is it possible to make the opening go back and install a Plexiglas raised window? You need to show off the motor. That big ass motor looks really cool in that car. Just a thought
Man, that suxs having to cut a Siebon hood like that. I know it wasn't cheap. I would have searched for a OEM styled, 1" cowl carbon hood. Then fabricate vents in the cowl if you'd like. Did i miss the completion of the exhaust system? 🤔 Man... I always say "Hot Rodding will kill all is car guys one day" when i see it experience crazy set backs 😏 cool build and good job💪
This is such an awesome build. It's everything we'd do if we owned a scrap salvage business 👏👏🤘🤘🤘. Fk yes, keep up the great work 🤘 you guys are doing a great job with the channel 👍
Cut so much of the low offset of the hood. An buy a carbon fiber Cowl Conduction hood scoop and mount it over the cut out. U remember the old cowl Conductions like the old I-ROCK Z Camaros. I thot they looked so mean with them hoods. I think its going to be sick i love this project.

These unusual builds are what I love!!.
totally love the builds and this is an excellent one and truly would love to see an interior video as much as the engine /transmission

Is there an update on this car?? Or is this the last video??
Such an awesome build! I love the videos on the 240sx! Please definitely do an interior vid. I'd be very interested in that.
The upholstery would make a really good video :) you for sure gotta make it match the seats
Very cool build. Wouldn't mind seeing some videos on the interior work.
Definitely do an upholstery video, it’s always fascinated me and also the part I’m totally terrible at so a little how to DIY would be awesome lol.

I Hope this build continues to fruition! Best of luck and thanks for the content!!!!

Yes. Would enjoy seeing you upholster the interior.
sweet looking so far
I can’t wait until this car runs and drives. It’s going to be EPIC!! 🫡
Hell yeah man I love your videos 👍👍 I got 2004 BMW E 46 M3 with 8.0 L viper, V 10 in it. And for the wiring I end up using Holley.
So far so good keep up the good and hard work 💪🏽

Yes on the upholstery video absolutely
Legend Silvia❤
Looks great man! Would love to see an upholstery video like you described!
this is my favorite build on this channel
Cool stuff keep up the good work
My favorite part of every video is the “random” pieces y’all give away 😂👌🏽 it’s like a lil mini game guessing what you’re going to break down
, seriously stylish build Mister 👌🏻
Hell yeah. You gotta get down on the interior! Deff make a video about that part
Can’t wait for the finished product.
I own a Nissan 200sx the same colour here in Australia. We have the turbo 2 litre only in Australia.
I like this build

We need the demon on the channel guys spam the comments demon on the channel
nah i want more of the Viper build
Agreed I’m not a fan of JDM cars
Nah man, the 240 is much more interesting. Only answer is for them to start posting 2x the amount of content 😆

Love to see a video on upholstery. 😮
Like to see the upholstery update for the 240SX Viper build
Still the wildest idea that I never saw coming.
Reading comments and thinking, I believe getting it to run and drive is way more important than thinking about doing the interior. But that's just me. lol.
Very cool build I'm into it. She going to be a beast
you should get like a camaro hood that is raised down the middle so you don’t gotta cut the hood
Car looks good love to hv a piece of carbon
Space the hood hinges to give more clearance 👍. Looking good tho
I love the juke it’s different
My subscription is "all thanks" to John Ross's vist to your shop.
Make me proud of this choice!
Getting closer
I like this build way more than the Porsche builds :)
You should take that hood cut the whole center part out and have a carbon fiber cowl made on it
Please change the seats to that awesome 90's bus texture that would fit the car so nicely! ( lot's of grey with weird fireworks designs, or weird geometry shapes.) If you know you know.
Gotta cut, what you gotta cut, fuck it. Phenomenal build glad to be here to follow along, keep up the amazing work ❤🔥
Yes, I would like to see an upholstery video on the 240
I wanna see the upholstery video! I'd love to learn how to do it
Looking good Homer
Man been waiting for a new video of this build hope to see some more content soon on this also would like to see a new video on the demon
Good video. Thanks
Looking good
Fibra de carbon !
Fuck yes! Would love to see you work on the upholstery.
Black paint on intake or even carbon fiber wrap the intake to match.
XJS JAG w/ V10 😮
Get the hump from the 350z HR and mold it to the factory hood
Keep a pair of vice grips in the console just in case that shifter breaks. ✌️
Love the 240. Need the sportcross update though 🤙
Fibre carbono, this gonna be the sleeper of all sleepers.
Fibra de carbonnnnnn!!!
fibra de carbono, love the vids!

You would have done better using a hellcat engine or an LS more space
Fibra de carbon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Winner, read and follow instructions on the description please!
Are you gonna put a scoop over the hole in the hood ?
You gotta have tbe viper gear knob on it just for the suttle hint inside
Great minds think alike! 😜
Yes, upholstery!

I wonder if the Origin cowl hood would have cleared. Or how a Dmax style hood could have cleared with the raised vents.

It's been over 7 months since the last video on this car. Are there going to be any more videos?
Was it not possible to raise the rear of the hood with hinge spacers or would it still have touched in placed
Why not use a 5th gen ZL1 scoop or add a 6th gen ZL1 but cut it to work like a C7 zr1. Scoop is separate from hood
I had the same thoughts about the 6th gen zl1/7th gen zr1 style scoop. We may try to make that happen.
