Love the intro. I'm not real deep in the car game. I like driving, but I don't wrench for a hobby. I watch these vids for entertainment and pick up a little knowledge along the way. So at the dyno, he was spraying NOx into the intake for extra boost. Also, the NOx gas has got to be cold so that has to help keep the engine cool when pushing it, no?
Adding N20 increases the oxygen. Generally speaking, the fuel should also be increased to prevent premature detonation or worse. I'm confident the technicians bumped fuel and adjusted timing to handle that N20 hit.
@@1spaghetti32 @1spaghetti32 Oh wow, right on - I appreciate you taking the time to give me more info! So adding N2O this way is actually that effective? I wouldn't think it would be very efficient. I had never seen or heard of that being done. Must not be too common, judging by the number of guys watching, half with their cameras recording. Thanks again, Spaghett!
The guy cutting the manifold with the glasses on is name is Tim right .....What can't u do each video ur helping ur friends with something else can't get a read on u ...u very gifted
It might be easier using the saw saw with the blade flipped the other way, it seems to work a lot better just being able to move around more down below without having the battery and trigger below your hand
I Lincoln locked my '85 K5 on 42" Swampers. It held up to the '79 454 big block in it with decent torque. I wheeled that truck every Sunday for years that way.
So cool seeing yours and Fernando's cars on the last episode! It's so weird seeing 2 very different "older" Nissans, with 2 very different and nasty Mopar swaps!!! I'm digging both! VERY NIIICEEE I LIIIKEEE So now you guys have an 830SX (assuming by the intake manifold that it's a Gen 3 8.3L Viper engine) and a 620Z 😂😂😂
Definitely didnt weld the diff the right way, you can't weld the diff on a 240 unless you are laying under it in the driveway, and it has to catch fire at least 3 times 😂😂😂😂😂
@@bradbozarth3235 That ain't the answer bud... but they should just straight pipe it or change the muffler. I think the muffler they put on is making a funny sound with the backpressure.
I'm adding this comment on this thread because I do not want to go through trying it on instagram. You have a video out about the gray Challenger and what should you put in it. I think you should put an old school real 426 Hemi with a pistol grip 4 Speed. Everybody's doing new to Old swaps go from old to new.
Chrysler seemed to be the only domestic manufacturer that used those exteranal regulated alternators. I had a dodge neon that cooked a battery because the alternator overcharged it. Ended up having to replace the computer becuse thats where the voltage regulator was.
Looks like you need a better LSD for the rear, you were getting quite a bit of one wheel action going on, or at bare minimum, 75/25. Otherwise... Dope ass Silvia 👌🏻 And I don't know as I didn't see the build, but the V10 does sound better than usual, but if you're not running a single exhaust, you should, it'll help with that particular Viper V10 uneven sound besides building crazy custom 180° headers(also an option, a more time intensive and bulky one lol) Edit: that's why she sounds better than your typical Viper.... you already created a Y pipe into a single 😅 (I commented before you put her on the lift)... still though, imagine her with pulse synced headers.... I know what V8's sound like, I can only imagine this would sound like a cross between a Lamborghini built V10(not VAG) and their V12.... just at 6k 😅
How did the viper swap affect handling? Did that hoss v10 up front make the car understeer any? Dodge shoves that thing way behind the front axle, but the viper is also shaped like the sexiest of clown shoes to make that easy to do. After all this, which is the better choice, viper swap or LS swap and why?
I saw that he posted it on Facebook for sale $37K, I looked it up on UA-cam to see how it sounds, and unfortunately it's the v10 with the most disappointing noise I've ever heard.. I hope he does something with it before he sells it...😏
You know I've seen a lot of your videos cut up light on your channel quite a bit you got all these hellcat the one thing I have not seen on your channel you say you say you like a demon where is a hellcat I think you should build a all-wheel drive hellcat Chrysler 300 or better yet or a crash demon demon Chrysler 300 there is not one out there you can look put great job with the channel looking forward to more videos God bless looking for a response

There's a demon supercharger in Indiana on fb market place
Tim is a huge help to the shop... And he's hiding some lucky charms!
Tim needs a build!!
For Sure!!!!!!!!!!
Prowler with a hellcat engine in it.....
If Tim gets a build it will never get done cuz he’s so busy doing the work on all the other build cars
I will state the obvious here......Tim is pure GOLD!
Hilarious!
Tim at the beginning lol...
Hes been the best addition to the channel in a very long time
Man it would be so cool being Tim's apprentice. He is so full of knowledge
Viper swapped s14 and a hellcat swapped 350z just cruising 🤣
Love the diversity of cars

wise words of tim "we need to not mess this one up"
All the ScrapLife channels are pure gold.
Tim needs more recognition and screen time. Just look at all the different jobs he tackles in the last part of the video 😮👍
This is fuggin insane ! I LOBE IT ❤❤❤❤❤❤👊🏼✊🏻🤌🏼🚀

Badass car, and smart thinking with adding some counter weight in the rear.
“Who was in charge of changing this battery” gave me flash backs to turning wrenches with my pops😂
At 15:31 Sir One Tyre Fryer Tuck 💪🔥 sweet build either way🏆
Very cool build. That color combo with those wheels is pretty awesome.
Just realized you guys are pretty local to me ! That’s awesome!
The one tire fire is real!

What can you guys do for a focus ST engine swap? Would love to see that! 🎉 I love custom outrageous builds that work.
Car is for sale on marketplace in Annapolis Maryland
Thats super rare!! He found the last 240 with a non welded diff 😂😂😂😂
17:10 NOW THATS A BURNOUT!!!
Just watched the Fuel Tech video yesterday 🙌🏻
Intro on this video is something currently impossible for U.S politicians.
That big v10 revs way faster than I would ever think it could. I love the sound of it too. Not crazy ass loud just perfect IMO.
Got to be the best channel by far on the tube, keep smashing it guys 👌
We like longer videos! Thanks for the content
so much torque the chassis twisted coming off the line
I Lincoln locked my '85 K5 on 42" Swampers. It held up to the '79 454 big block in it with decent torque. I wheeled that truck every Sunday for years that way.
This is probably my favorite.. the wheels man.

I love this channel! You guys crack me up. All of your cars need just one more thing to make it right! Makes for great content.
Great build always nice to see Sam Wise doing some welding and working on the car
21:15 chuck the pumpkin in an oven for 30 mins at 180°c and the welds hold on like a rodeo champ!
It would be so cool to hang out with you guys for a day. Looks like a lot of fun in the shop and I am sure someone can learn a lot too.

I don't know if it's the exhaust but that sounds a bit janky coming through the video.
Well id imagine shoving a V10 in that car you probably don’t have a-lot of options for exhaust
@@bradbozarth3235 That ain't the answer bud... but they should just straight pipe it or change the muffler. I think the muffler they put on is making a funny sound with the backpressure.
@@XLoad3d makes sense, i figured it would be the manifolds lol
needs equal length + x pipe
The Viper V10 has always sounded weird to me, an acquired taste
Pretty sick burnouts for an open diff🤘.

I love the viper 240x I want to see more of it
Now if you could fly the drone thru the windows in the middle of the drift that would be the ultimate slow motion shot
Looking forward to seeing how it drives once you get up to basic safety Euro standard on the suspension.
damn, BIgTIme just made a video about their 240. Good day to be a 240 fan.
Holy crap i never knew you were a maryland native. I work right next to capital at that gokart track.
I want that 800SX so freakin bad. 😲
Sweet ride...

Now it's time to get some turbos, there's plenty of room up under the fenders behind the front wheels!
😂
Disappointed the wheel didn't fall off..........

That thing skates around so elegantly, like Kristi Yamaguchi on steroids!
WOOOOOOOO EARLY TO A SCRAPLIFE VIDEO
can you make a list of what it rtakes to do the viper swap ? , besides the engine and trans thank you
Sounds good
so when do we see a demon charger on the viper lump.....🤔
youtube cabtions:
car revving loudly
*[Music]*
if i recall, Z32 300zx differentials are a direct fit for these
Lincoln lockers are the best👍
I like it!
Hey, at 2:45, you need to turn over the chrome Daffy Duck oil filler to make it a viper one, again
Gets pulled over.
Officer: i got a viper nissan 240 dodge car i need to run plates on.
Car is cool af
I just stumbled apon this build on marketplace XD
The stock lsd's don't lock up that well. I had one in my ka s14 and it sucked. My sr20 sr20 has a kazz 2 way and it's fantastic
Please do some drift clips with the car, it's gonna get viral. Greetings from Greece.
it needs some side exhausts
3:22 that is mi primo
No way boyz is that Kent island and the bay bridge I didn’t know yall was that close
I’m here from the post of this car on Facebook marketplace 😅
In the 90s there was a magazine called GM HIGH TECH? I think😂...
They put BMW V12 in Impala I think 😂
There were a few good ones.
Now that it's starting to run properly you can stroke it, twin turbo it, and go chase some land speed records 😎
Hellcat with a v10 come onnn..
Yep, why mess around with imports when the Hellcat is a perfect car for the swap.
It would be slower than a tuned hellcat redeye
@@averageamerican786yeah but you can still tune the viper v10 and they can make massive amounts of horsepower, more than any hellcat or demon could.
The only disappointing thing about this car is the exhaust sounds exactly like a diesel minus the rattle or Turbo whistle.
If you find a Supra MK5 you gotta see if you can Hellcat swap it. I’ve been wondering for a long time if it’s even possible.

I was the first one to like!!!!!
How about a Dodge Stratus R/T Coupe but swapped with a boosted 5.7 and make it RWD?
On average, how long to sell the majority of the parts from most of the cars you part out? Thanks in advance & keep being awesome!!
Can you do something cool with a supercharged 3800?
sounds smooth must be fast.
I saw that he posted it on Facebook for sale $37K, I looked it up on UA-cam to see how it sounds, and unfortunately it's the v10 with the most disappointing noise I've ever heard..
I hope he does something with it before he sells it...😏
hell yea
I thought capitol raceway was closed!
viper engine imported....fit body great
That yellow viper in the back tho
Need side by side comparison with BIG TIME 240SX
Y'all need to convince Lee to buy a band saw for the shop.
Sunday, Sunday at Capital Raceway.
I Like Tim
Man your car is way better
Then tattoos.
Do you have cadillac xlr parts
❤ it 😂
I seen the car in Facebook marketplace lol 😂
Hi there. Are these guys still doing new videos?
😍😍😍
See I knew it was definitely locking up enough to not be an open 😭 a worn lsd will do that

For me it does not sound like a V10
Tbh I’ve never really heard a viper that sounded like a v10
sounds like a na v8
or a cammed v8
thats just the viper sound, its like an e90 m5. They do sound a little better with good resonators though.
