Trolling Spoons for Lake Erie Walleye and Steelhead

Recorded July 14th, 2023. Hudson and Cody spent some time fishing the central basin of Lake Erie searching for potential tournament/ derby winning Walleye and Steelhead. We didn't find any winners, but the Walleye bite was ON!
We spent our time trolling in deeper waters (70 - 78ft) between 2.5 - 2.9mph. The 3 3/4" Pro King Silver Series spoons were on fire. The colour almost didn't matter, as long as it was flashy.
The cherry on top was going 3/3 on the Steelhead! It was a beautiful morning.

Not all parts of Lake Erie are America dude. No size restrictions in Ontario waters of Erie.

We fish the Canadian side of Lake Erie under our Canadian sport fishing licenses. No slot size in regulation.
