Not a lot of people know this but besides writing the opera Carmen, Georges Bizet invented bottom bouncing while fishing for Zander on the Seine River. Walleye guys and the Bad News Bears owe old Georges some gratitude. Great video, Hans. Another Carver classic.
Great Video Captain Hans. What's your go to sunglasses and lens option. I'm going to get a pair of new ones just for the boat and I'm asking around what pro's are using. Thanks!
Hey love the video! I’m new to bottom bouncing but have fished eyes on Huron and Erie for a few years now, Canada side though. :) I’m wondering what rod you using? I like the look of them.
How do you know you’re rig is at the bottom without a fish finder that allows you to see your gear in the water? Is there a chart out there with a speed/weight ratio?
Thanks Hans teaching America and Canada how to fish

Are you trolling or drifting. If trolling about how fast?
Pulling with the bowmount with the current or wind depending on the situation. 1.2 to 1.4 I like.
Hey Hans, What type of rod do you like to use for bottom bouncing?
love the video. do spoons work just as well as spinners with the bottom bouncer

How can I get my hands on some 8oz. Lead Rods ??? 🎣
where do you get your lead sticks ? I need some in my life asap!
Where did you purchase that bottom bouncer weight from?
If I push the line back yo hook it always unravels. Like it won't bite down. Any ideas?
Where do you get the material to make those bottom bouncers?
I get them from Captain Bobs in Clarence NY.

Watch the line as the weight is dropping. You'll see it stop pulling line or slow wayyy down. That's when your on bottom
you sound a little bit like
