THIS IS GREAT...thank you for the instructions and video showing what, how and where to get this. I bought mine already, installed and worked like a charm. Great job.
They should have put this in the truck from the factory. I paid 70,000 for min and that feature is horrible always having to push that button !! Great job guys !!!!!!
Thanks for sharing, I just installed mine on my 2020 f150 and it works like a champ, Even with the remote start option! AWESOME product, That Auto-Stop is the DUMBEST thing EVER! Thanks for making our trucks better!
Thanks for the instruction video I found that I couldn’t pop the piece out from the dash so instead I pulled the plug out and did everything there behind the dash with the button still in the dash it was way easier
I drive a pickup truck with a V8 engine, auto start/stop shouldn’t even be a thing in such a vehicle. If I cared about saving mpg or emissions I’d have gotten a Prius. Thank God for this video.
@@TheTudunka It looks like this specific one will work. I have mine in and mine is push to start. Ill let you know when i install it today and try. Other brands advertise theirs wont be fully functional.
hmmm maybe its annoying in the f150 but in my ranger I can't even tell its shutting off and back on unless I'm actively trying to notice. I absolutely love it.
@@bobatbilletcreations If you knew how the system worked you would be embarrassed at how stupid that sounds. OH, and even if that was true you can buy a starter for 135 dollars with a 2 yr warranty lol.....
How long would they give an old man for kid napping that guy with mechanical knowledge and the ability to work plastic tabs without breaking them if I were caught, just long enough to put it in?
DONT DO THIS !! If you want to disable auto start/stop on your F150 (works on 2021-2023 models for sure, don't know about older models or the upcoming 2024 refresh, but I'm pretty sure its the same or similar.) Go into your infotainment system. Bring up Features. Bring up towing. Choose select default trailer. That's it. That's all you have to do. Don't buy any devices. Don't jumper the button. Don't disconnect the BMS from the negative lead on the battery. The truck will think a trailer is connected, but it won't cut off your backup camera, or give you any warning messages or anything like that. Plus you don't run any risk of voiding your warranty, or shorting your circuitry with some cheap Chinese "auto start eliminator," or by plugging in some trailer circuit test kit that isn't designed to be left in as you drive the truck every day leaving it exposed to the elements.
This video is awesome. The button (ae0000 split hazard/stop start button) work flawlessly for my truck. In my opinion, (or at least on my truck 2020 f150 xlt) there was not plenty of room for the switch behind. I had to have it laying FLAT and sideways under the switch. Mine had an aluminum plate preventing it from going very far back. The switch would not fit into the slot cut out for this wiring. This should be the way it comes from the factory!!!! F@#k you Ford!!!
@@trentc6069 If I leave it deactivated, it automatically deactivates when I turn my key the next starts indefinitely. It remembers the position it was in when you shut the truck off, and defaults to that when you restart the truck.
i just installed it on my new 2020 f150 xlt and it's great..!! go to www.autostopeliminator.com i chose the model AE010 diagnostic port type(about 100$ can). you plug it in the diagnostic port under the dash(leave it there) . then start your truck, see if the button on dash is "OFF". if not, press it and it will remember your selection...that's it...:) i hate that auto start sh*t ps..enjoy your f150 guys...i love my new truck...lol

An 0.011” feeler gauge works great for not marking the surface if you don’t have a plastic pry bar

Now that Whipples are going on the V8 trucks, I would think you would want this disabled?

Nice!!
Does this work with the Remote Start? I've heard that these type plugs stop the Remote Start from working. Can anyone share any information on this?
Yes it does
Yes it does ... Work with the Remote Start or Does Not work?

Ford should make it off by default. This is a great product.
About f**king time!!! Thank god
Zigman just unplug the the harness that controls in on the negative side at battery and save 100 bucks
What about a 2020 F150?
Will this work on a 2018 Chevy Malibu with the 1.5L?
Does this void your warranty???
Does it effect the warranty?
Depends on your dealer.
No, not this one.
You can remove it and reinstall the original before warranty work.
Thanks for the instruction...it worked!
glad to hear. :)

Just way as the truck gets older and shakes more...you'll notice it then.

Do you know of an autostop eliminator for a 2018 Silverado 1500? Thanks
should be out soon
The easiest thing to do is put it in sport mode and it will never ever shut off
Switch slides out my right cheek my fingers are getting bloody
All you gotta do is stick your hands in there and pull up a bit and that's it.. my skin was left behind
For some reason, I can’t even get my switch out. My tabs won’t even push in.

The only problem with this one is that it's always working your battery unlike the one behind the dash!
You can get that same part on amazon for $40 bucks 👍👍👍
Not the same product, they don't work as reliably.
They don't work with your remote start either...NOT the same quality!
Fuck that. I am not taking my dash apart. That shit will never go back together as original.
