Baltany has quite a few lovely watches out there. 1921 tilted dial VC homage, 1926 Oyster tribute, dirty dozen, the dirty dozen chrono (bicompax?) etc.
Keep the reviews coming. I enjoy them very much. I would love to see a comparison between this Baltany and the Pagani Design PD1708. The Baltany should win, but the watches are very similar and the Pagani can be had for well less than half the price.
thats a great watch! i love the symatry on the dial, the size of the pushers etc.. if it had a diffrent dial color id get it right now. just a personal preference its a cool watch.. 🙂
Thanks the for the review. Well done. I'm curious as to how long the battery would last if you run the chronograph continuously? Will that sap the power pretty quickly?
Running Chronograph continuously will definitely increase the power consumption. One thing to keep in my mind though: the chrono still stop once to 60 min have lapsed. So if you can keep on restarting it during the day, it will be s bit more challenging during the night 🙂. I never tried to keep the chronograph going all the time, but if someone did ir dild be interesting to see how it shortens the battery life. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
San Martin makes a watch that looks exactly the same and is about $50 cheaper right now. Do you think they are the same watch made from the same company just different branding?
Does anyone who has this model find it stops when it is placed near a mobile phone. I remove mine when bathing or showering and automatically puts it on a table near my phone. It stops.
But do you need a 24-hour complication? who uses them personally I know whether it is day or night. A running second complication at least helps with setting the time, but if you are permanently living in a submarine then the 24-hour complication might be useful.
Thanks for sharing 🙂👍 Me personally appreciate the 24 hour indicator, however I agree that it could have been replaced with something more useful like 12 chrono accumulator for example or something else. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
You do very nice videos by giving full functional and esthetic description of these watches. Congratulations!!!! ! Lamentably I don't like this model. Actually, I don't like any "Pilot Watch" of this type coz they don't help me at all. It it were in the ways of the Breitling Navitimer or the Rolex GMT Master, it would be something to consider. But a Chrono that only has a date and those two counters- Seconds and 60-min, but no other feature or scales like telemetry, or tachymeter, decimal, multiplication or log scale, is for me, IMHO, a useless instrument watch. Maybe it would work well when you get lost in the forest coz you can still find the N-S orientation, but any analog watch can help to do that. Nah, I prefer the Omega '57 Broad Arrow Homage from Pagani to this one.
Baltany makes some beautiful watches ! All they need is a good movement and it would take it to the next level !
I want to try a Baltany. The crystal looks great

This watch looks absolutely stunning. Very good finishing and proportions!
I have worn a Baltany for a daily for several years - still looks new, still keeps great time.
Really enjoy your honext and thorough reviews. Keep up the hard work, I'm a big fan !!
Much appreciated! 🙂👍

i like everyhting except how you have to unscrew the pushers. i think the SM version is 2mm smaller
Looks like a merge of Sinn, Breguet, Hanhart, Fortis and Zeno Watch, how is this a 'solid original design'?
Not having a proper running seconds makes every bi-compex mecaquartz look dead behind the eyes. I'd rather a tri layout and have a ticking hand at 6

I have seen it in a dark green sunburst dial as well - stunning !! :)

Hello.
On what online platform can you purchase Baltany Watches with guarantees?
Thank you
Nice looking watch but heavily inspired by the Hamilton Khaki Aviation?

Thank you for sharing! PD 57 homage doesn't even have a date though 🙂
Personally I like the date complication better
