Kinda bummed about about the top mph and traction control but the spare tire and tunability won me over I also prefer the look of the GTI over the Golf R, great video bro.
Lol yup I felt the same way initially but I know all of that will get solved once it's tuned so it's not a big deal, and yup I think the GTI is a bit more aggressive looking, and thanks brother I appreciate you.
If you’re dead set on using a Cobb Accessport, EQT is the popular tuner you’d want to go with. Definitely avoid Cobb’s included OTS maps. Personally running 034 and flashing via the phone was very easy, but any stage 1 flash definitely wakes these cars up!
Both are beautiful cars! I looked at the Golf R unfortunately they were asking premium money so I went with a 23’ M240 x drive. That Blue Honda is a great color 😎👍
It's a totally personal preference on short vs. long gear ratios, and I respect it, though I know others preferring to row more frequently. 60 in 2nd gear, in the real world and street, hwy speeds wouldn't we actually miss the shifting?!

@@RaceCarFriends México. Actually, the gti is offered only in its higher trim. You can’t get anything in between like no sunroof, or non leather seats, is either you get the gti with the full equipment or you get a regular golf, but none of them are available with a stick

@@marvinmurcia1142 I actually got the S trim because I wanted to get the volume knobs and plaid seats, and then was pleasantly surprised with the much lower price compared to the Autobahn.
Glad you're enjoying the GTI. It fits you with the subtleties
Thanks brother and yup it does.
The downsides aren't that bad I'm surprised it comes with so many features at that price point.
Yup I agree and same here.
The big aluminum dead pedals on the VWs, or at least on the GTIs, are such an underrated feature.
Facts! I don't even have that on the Civic Type R!
True, I love that feature
My left foot appreciates this on my '21 GTI manual!

You're welcome, these GTI's are amazing if you don't need a whole lot of space, if you need more space I'd recommend an Integra or Civic over them.
