I’ve been using this same recipe for more than 5 times and I can tell you everybody i’ve cooked this for loves this! To the point where they’ll always ask me to cook this for them 😍 Thank you so much for the recipe, it’s so easy and delicious to cook and have on a lazy rainy day 👌🏻💯
i watched this some time ago but i cameback to say thank you for this easy recipe!! this is my go to for rainy, stressful and sick days as its so easy to make but energizing depending on what i have in the fridge, i often also like to add mushrooms or a tomatoe!
for the cold ? this is my comfort food in all weather.. i live in a hot country and im always visiting the nearby Korean restaurant every 3rd day for Kimchi Jjigae :))
I’m Nigerian but I’m going to try this. I saw a tiktoker do it and I just had to search it up on YT. This would be the first Korean food I’d be eating ever.
I accidentally deleted the video and re-uploaded! I hope you enjoy my Kimchi Jjigae recipe. This is prefect for the Fall and Winter approaching. Thanks!
Oh man! I lived in S. Korea (Ilsan) for nearly 4 years and Kimchi Jjigae is one of my favourite food now. I make it twice a month (I'd like to make it more often but buying Kimchi in Canada just isn't as cheap as it is in Korea). Absolutely DELICIOUS!! I always add zucchini whenever I make this one.
just made it and it was so good!! Spicy, but not unbearably spicy and really warmed me inside out. I have a lot of gochujang left so Im totally gonna make it again soon. I really like flexible recipes like this one
I love beef vegetable soup and homemade chicken noodle soup! I’m not really a spicy girl! My mom and my daughter love spicy food. But I do wanna try some of the Korean foods. I really wanna try beef bulgogi and rose tteokbokki non spicy tho
I just purchased myself a pot and I am very excited to use it at this moment! Thank you for the recipe! I’m glade you suggest to substituted some things because I don’t have everything and didn’t feel like running to the store right now.
Thank you soooo much. Can't wait to make this. I have been following other Korean cooks but time for a change. I lived in Korea for 3 years and I use to always go to Korean restaurants when I got to the states because I missed the food. That got to be a little pricey. So I started making my own. I have made sooo many dishes. There isn't a dish I can't make as long as I have the video. Again, thank you.
A fun fact: kimchi truly has tons of benefits, the problem is all probiotics in stuff like kimchi, sauerkraut, miso, gochujang die at temperatures above 46 degrees C (115 F). You still get all the taste tho, but I prefer to add mine at the very end, at the safe temperatures. It's a bit of a hustle, but keeps the healthy stuff intact.
I’ve made this today and it soooooo delicious Thank you for this very simple recipe.☺️ Good thing we have a Korean store near where we live and that’s where i got all the ingredients that i need.
I recently tried kimchi. I like it! Was looking for some recopies, to use it in (besides just munching on it, in it's original form). Will try out your recipe tomorrow! Thanks! CHEERS!
Love kimchi stew I remember my ex gf's grandma used to make it all the time when I come over to eat with anchovies on the side. I miss it, thanks for the recipe ill try and make some.
Did follow your recipe and yes it is really the easiest way to create a kimchi stew at home. Will try with other broth soon to check difference in taste! Thanks for this recipe my husband loves it too! 💖
I think this may be an easy kimchi stew for me to make as a first timer. Thank you for linking all the good stuff and thank you for taking time to upload this for us. Can't wait to make it. Cheers! 🥕✌🏼🌟

CookingWithHua How long should I ferment the kimchi for? I made it last week and it’s been sitting in the fridge. Would I be able to now use it to make the stew, or do you recommend waiting?
I used to live right across from the BCD Tofu House by Ardmore in LA!! I totally went there for late night food !! The best stuff ever! Especially the fried mackerel along with the chigae!
