Dear Judi! You are ever so bright and smily. And yet you let us in on your hard time this time of year. I do understand you cannot ever replace your David. And I just say: I know. ❤️ I am sitting in Turkey now, watching this. And it is mid November. So TomKat’s challenge or not, - it is quite to late. I have even watched your finished Berlin jacket😂. It turned out beautifully. Keep it up, Judi! You are great fun watching, while I am sitting 4am with my coffee, knitting a pair of socks. (Which I am selling in Norway. Only in Norway 😔😅) But these are a gift for a very nice, Turkish neighbour. She is going to a far colder climate in a couple of days, so I would like her to keep warm. I’ll put a picture in, if I can manage.
My heart goes out to you Judi! Like the saying says "It's better to have loved and lost than never loved at all. And the more the love the more the hurt but it still doesn't take away the pain. On a brighter note, all your fabrics are beautiful. In Australia, we call plumeria "'frangipani"' and they grow well in Queensland and New South Wales :)
Lovely to hear your speak with such openness Judi, and thanks for the time you give to us on your channel. Loss is a heavy burden. Wishing you the strength to bear it xx
Beautiful fabrics, especially the Linton tweeds, LOVE! Your deep and unwavering love for David makes my heart swell. You are a very special and blessed soul. It is a joy to hear you say that Oliver shares characteristics with David. It appears than more than a tightly held memory lives on.
Beautiful fabrics, Judy and always a pleasure to listen to you and watch your vlogs! I love your fabric and your project for the challenge - so very special ! I hope the love you feel from all of your virtual and actual friends helps to support you at this time and helps you grieve the loss of your wonderful husband. I hope too that you can cry and laugh with your family as you remember him xxx so sorry for your loss ❤💔💐 xxx big hugs 🤗
Hi Judy, lovely to share a glimpse of your precious fabrics. I am a big fan of the gorgeous Linton Tweed and I was told by the lovely Terry Fox of the English Couture Company that it is advisable to interline Linton Tweed with silk organza,it prevents the fabric from seating and you can hand stitch hems etc into the organza rather than the fabric itself. The Berlin jacket will look amazing in your chosen fabric. Keep your chin up Judy, even though your heart is aching, you are a lovely brave lady and there are many of us who have never met you, knowing you only through your wonderful channel , and we really care about you and wish you well.🌹🌹🌹
Judy it’s wonderful to see you looking well and fit. Thought I’d mention that plumeria is I think the botanical name for what in Australia we call frangipani (with a soft g) and come in brilliant colours of red, pink and yellow right down to white. I rarely see Hawaiian fabrics like you saw even though we have all the heat and humidity. Love yours. Margaret in Oz.
Judi it was so lovely to see you on the stash hub virtual this week. Yes I have a mountain of precious fabrics some not expensive but just gorgeous but I'm going to plough through some by making blouses as I have too many dresses and nowhere to wear them. Oops. Hopefully see you at the next sewcial. Oo question, When were in Harrogate for the show which is the best Boyes to visit?

Oh I'm determined to buy a frangipani/pulmeria plant for my garden as it is walled and hence will protect plants from the wind x
@@runningsewandsew you need to protect it from the cold because they are a tropical plant.
