A lovely vlog Judi. Thank you for showing the flat locking . I’m looking forward to trying it with my Acclaim. Personally I always look at the finished measurements to gauge what size I’ll go with. So many pattern designers are designing very loose & baggy garments lately & whilst they are comfy to wear I sometimes feel like they are wearing me . I prefer a neater fit . Your embroidery is so fab, a month fine already . Is it me or was January soooo long ?. ❤

Flat locking is such a great technique to use on the overlocker, thanks for sharing. I have used it years ago as a decorative stitch, using pearl cotton thread in the lower looper, it was a lovely way to give interest to the bodice of a dress made from a solid fabric. I really loved wearing that dress. Your embroidery is so creative and beautiful, fantastic way to create memories for 2025.

I love the Linden but my neckline also comes out quite open. I don't love that part of it. I have tried raising the neckline by lengthening the pattern pieces (not the neck band) but end up with some lumps and bumps at the seams on the shoulders. I must be messing with the invisible darts in those raglan seamlines and haven't had the patience to keep at it. I still wear them and probably nobody else notices, but I do... and I love the pattern enough that I really would love to crack the code! ❤ Interestingly, when making version 2: the tshirt, I love the neckline as is.

I'm sorry, but the ? Linden looks as though it's inside out. Just my opinion obviously. Not for me.

Would it not be easier to sew your quarter circles together first ..separate from background..and then appliqué to ‘stem’ background.

I didn’t know about the single chain stitch on a coverstitch machine, so thank you for enlightening me.😃 I like to have lots of different sewing projects on the go, but I must say then I sometimes get a little overwhelmed and feel like I never finish them all😉

Hi Judy, I've been with Debbie shore club for years and it's great. I'm doing the block of the month and am also doing her year of quilting book. I'm up to week 12 now and am learning lots. I've so many home made clothes that this makes a nice change.. I love your vlogs

I also love these fabrics in the pink box! I got the brown colorway. I have no idea what to make yet. The only fabric I didn’t like was the cord with flowers. I don’t know what to make. What did you make with it? I try to sew them up quickly but I have gotten behind. Getting the box is the highlight of my month. It is the best treat and I love all the unboxings, makes and posts. Happy sewing!

I blame you for my recent purchase...the 365 Days of Stitching book! I had to order a 12 inch hoop but just got it and started my stitching journal. Thank you so much for bringing this project to your vlog. I am excited to stitch along with you over the course of 2025. fyi, even thought about the quilting book but was hesitant to take on too much right now. You are such a joy!!

I’m doing the quilt too. I’m still on week one though as wanted to finish a top first. Never made a quilt before so using stash too. I’m planning to use tear away stabiliser for week 2

I thought about you this afternoon. You know that I have had a cough and cold and I went our for a short walk for the first time in over a week and guess what I saw, snowdrops! They were wonderful, if only a handful at the moments. I love paper piecing, I think that it is so satisfying, you have inspired me! Take care and thanks for doing these videos.x
