Thanks for the video (and colorful pipe dope commentary!) - Do you have any tips for nozzle clean-out? I was gonna try the replacement without taking everything apart, but not sure if there is a good way to force out dust/stuff from the old nozzles - maybe forcing air thru the other end of the gas line somehow?
So propane tanks have that safety valve where if too much is released too fast when you open the valve it goes into super low pressure mode and barely releases gas. Make sure your grill burners are turned off then close and open the propane tank again. Having burners on when turning on the gas makes that safety feature enabled. If it’s not that you’re either plugged or the holes are too tiny but I think that’s it. Let me know
Sorry probably way too late for you but just in case anyone else is looking here it is. These are extra small so you can drill out to the desired oriface size. a.co/d/6WamT75
Got a kit that I didn’t realize had two sizes. First put in the .5 and there was no flame. Found out that set came with .8s and it works perfectly now
Yup I’ve cooked lots of burgers, dogs, and steaks on this grill now. It’s been working great!
So all you need is the propane regulator and the new smaller valve nozzles?
This video is just what I needed. I’m going to do some plastic surgery on my old grill too and move those orifices over. Thanks for making this video.
Happy to help. I’m amazed how many people do this. It’s one of my videos that’s constantly getting watched. 😎

Yea a blast of air from a compressor would be best I bet.
Had to rewatch a bit. Forgot about the pipe door thing. 😂. Thanks for watching.
I can’t control the flame after swapping out the orifices and regulator hose. Converted NG to LP. What can I do?
Is the flame too small? I have an idea if it is
Yes! How do you know?

Do you have the link for the orifices you purchased?

@@higgprojects Did those amazon ones thread in? Same thread pitch?
Wish your video would have started with an intact grill and began with the beginning. . .
Thanks for the feedback.
