People lost the ability to think critically roughly 5 - 6 decades ago. It's coming back, but only because it is the fuel that drives memes.
Plus...the coronavirus is the 0.1 percent of germs that hand sanitizer doesn't kill.

Yujin Seol UA-camrs make videos last 10 minutes because of UA-cam's algorithm, they rank the videos that have longer view time better, so if your video is 5 minutes and all your viewers watch all your videos in its entirety, it will still rank lower than a video that is 10 minutes and people only watch 60% of and leave.

I’m glad in reality I’m living my life in between. But I switch between these two thoughts 20 times a day.
I'm right there with you. Like, I'm prepared and cautious, just not overly so. but I can get freaked out if I let my mind wander into worst case scenario territory. To a few other people I just seem really nonchalant on the outside, though.

One minor detail I really enjoy about your videos is the camerawork behind them. Everything flows together very smoothly in a way that isn't trying to make some kind of big spectacle of itself. Leagues better than most of what's on this platform, let alone a lot of popular media out there with absolutely bland shots.
As somebody working towards the film industry, your videos are very entertaining for more than just the subjects you cover. I'm glad you're doing what you're doing.
I'm so glad my dad taught me how to stay prepared, with food, water, vitamins and medical supplies for a couple of weeks. I'm on the overprepared and calm side right now. Another good thing is that my life hasn't changed much, I work on projects at home as I usually do and my workplace is still up and running, producing food for all residents in Norway.
Uncertainty is a gift and often regarded in our society as danger to our comfort zone. However, this comfort zone is the biggest danger to our survival as a species. Creating a healthy relation with uncertainty and change is the basis of spirituality. Love the analytical approach of the video Matt. Great Job !

Haha. That's what I was thinking. Every surface he touched coming in should have been disinfected immediately. He also immediately rinsed his hands after getting the soap, why is this how people wash their hands! 20 seconds of full lather people, not under running water 😣

The scene being acted could be the reason of why it wasn't that good. Just like in a movie, you don't check if the character is taking a shower properly.

I love this. This is the first time in a very long while I find myself refreshing the news too often, and while an occasional check in is important, constant check in worsens my newfound anxiety. You address the current climate without direct mention and turn it playful while giving out good tips on how we can control what our reactions are.
I live in Italy and a video like this, if done at the right time and broadcasted, would have really helped

There's never a dull moment in history, people forget but the market don't. people stuck in the mindset of "NOW, is worst than ever" or "this time, it's different". don't underestimate the power of human ingenuity. if there is a problem we will fix it. We'll rise from the rubble if it comes down to it but we'll rise above and be better than ever.

One thing that I believe is certain is that kindness like yours is contagious. And kindness is one great antidote against the fear we might experience in these uncertain times. The hole world economy depends on our hopes for a better future, and kindness give people hopes back. We either fall into fear, pointing fingers, directing our fear and anger on others. Or we overcome this issue together by helping each other out. By listening to our experts like the WHO, washing our hands to keep others safe and social distancing. Or for example donating the ticket money for cancelled shows to the theatre. If we let kindness win over fear, hopefully when all of this is over, humanity is more united and ready to face the future together as one team. Because another thing that is certain is that we will have more pandemics in the future, at a higher rate, due to global warming, and due to humans settling into inhabited territory, like cutting down the Amazon rainforest. And that’s just one of several devastating dangers we could face from the climate crisis. So let’s use this situation to set ripples of kindness in motion, and eventually end up united across the world.

Honestly this is what I needed today. The more you dive into the needs - the more your head gets wrapped up. This made me feel calm!
I just lost my job yesterday, along with most of the other employees in my workplace. I had already been living off of my credit cards before that and am even more worried about the toll that having no income will bring, especially in the coming months when I need to pay rent. However, I am not panicking at all. I am trying to remain calm and take this opportunity of having so much free time to focus on my illustration career and to be as productive and healthy as possible. I'll have more time to market myself on social media and will also have so much more time to make UA-cam videos. We will get through these uncertain times together. :)

It's just hard to keep control unless you isolate yourself in a zone where no one is around. It's not the virus that scares us but the people and social panic, which always remind us to keep ahead of others to buy more, stock more and compare more.
