The cement is there on purpose,but only to fool people into thinking they’re good speakers as usually the heavier the speakers the better the quality.

Yeh... appropriate magnet and gauge of wire selection is irrelevant. What you definitely want is more heavy copper and the weaker, heavier common iron magnets... in every situation!

Well they did put a small amount of cement in them,but some other scam speakers mostly the floor standing ones they literally put whole bricks inside them for the weight,just pick up some bricks on the street and throw them in there :D

They’re trying to fool you into thinking it is a Bose. These are cheaper than the Bose with smaller magnets and less wattage and weight. They used cement to make it feel like a Bose. The treble on these probably sucks and that midbass probably sounds absolutely muddy. The Bose has less of those problems.
Hair thin voice coil wire on the sub woofer, that is quality there. They say 1500 watts? more like 15 watts of junk. LOL
They tell the sub have 500 watt
jerry kevin yea if that were a true 500 watt rms sub, the voice coil windings would be much heavier gauge and maybe a larger diameter former 🔊😆
@@grodenbarg yes, my wharfedale woofer 10 inch 75 watt/8 ohm have bigger magnet and voice coil than that sub.
They actualy meant 1500 milliWatts. That is what this coil looks like

you should clamp test the amplifier when your blowing speakers to see how much power they take before failing. Im glad you started making videos more frequently keep up the good work!

The cement in the box is for like a boost at like the 10,000 Hz, it helps the frequency bounce around more in direct through the speaker for a higher output 😂😂😂😂😂😂

That sub reminds me of an old set of Fisher floorstanding speakers with that magnet. Only difference is this one sounds like shit, and the Fishers can take some shit.

My father sometimes warned me not to turn up my computer speakers too loud or else I could blow them, and after a couple of years of wondering what that actually looked like and how much speakers can take before blowing, I got it in my head to look it up on UA-cam.
Sure enough, it didn't take long to find this one guy named "Garret Claridge" who specializes in such things. I found all of your content amusing, and I've watched almost every video in the nearly 8 years of following your channel. Congratulations on the 45K milestone! That's really a good reason, but also speaker insulation or polyfill helps that problem too, but it'll also add more bass quality to the music.

Theyre like the Bose acoustimass system, and also the subwoofer isn't made of cardboard, it's made of MDF. Which is kind of like wood fiber held together with glue.

We have a store chain called Jula in Sweden, it's like a Walmart without the grocery part, they sell cheap car speaker drivers, they sell that exact woofer driver in 8", 10", 12" and 15" for 20, 25, 30, and 40 dollars

Unfortunately a friend got conned into this system from a van in Canada Aug 2019. Everything identical but some print on the box. Under name Sonaus SN-7. (A play on Sonos) Says “Digital Home Theater”. “Remote” (no remote... nothing to control by remote anyways) . You’d think you were buying a powered home theater system. Not so. Nothing digital about it. Just real cheap old school speakers. Said MSRP of $2563. Hahahahaha ...Concrete in the speakers.... Hahahaha.... so that’s how they got heavy.
