Penglipuran in Bali: One of the Cleanest Villages in the World

- A life in harmony with God and nature: What for many is an esoteric ideal is the daily reality in the Indonesian village of Penglipuran - and with godliness comes cleanliness!
The village's inhabitants, some 1,000 people, abide by an ancient philosophy and its traditions: They protect the surrounding rainforest, cars are not allowed in the village, and littering is also forbidden.
Over the past years, sustainable tourism has grown in Penglipuran, strengthening the local economy.

bali doesn't and less government efforts when come to marketing. bali become famous as hearing from the tourist and hotels and medias

clean due to has intention from ministry of tourism and the village makes money from entrance ticket so every village when they have budget they will do and maintain it tho?
it was long years ago this villages among the cleanest one in bali as they have unique in rules and customs. and has been awards by many different organizations.
No tourists be going to Bali after the news announcement where unmarried couple no longer allowed to sleep together lol

@@joMan1060 apply only for indonesian citizens however can be apply for tourist if there is issue among them. no officials will ask or check your personal back grounds
After all Bali isn't for everyone, don't compare to Maldives unless you're just very basic tourist rotting western supremacy
