Honestly, the more mundane the vlog the more entertaining it is for me, I just wanna see someones real life and real life isn't always super exciting. I think most of us are watching because we like you and your personality, whether you're going out and doing something exciting or in your house folding laundry :)

Welcone back!! Missed your videos. Don’t worry if the video will be boring or not, I am sure there’s a lot of us happy to just hear your voice and rambles again 😆
I've heard this a lot from those who want to vlog more "the footage wasn't interesting so I didn't upload it" or "I didn't do anything today so I didn't vlog it". I know that more than half the job is editing and so if the footage isn't fun to you that must be a slog to get to a finished vlog. All of this to say that I bet a large chunk of your audience would love a "boring" vlog. As weird as is it, what I want from a daily vlog is to see what's for breakfast, what mug are you using for your coffee today? What's for dinner? It's through these small things that we see you live your life, change and grow. Remember when you didn't drink coffee? We saw the slow evolution to a coffee person. Remember when Elle was constantly drinking diet coke? We saw that change and it wasn't in the big exciting vlogs, it was in the everyday. I also feel that the "boring" vlogs also make the bigger vlogs better because we saw the lead up and we know it's special because you don't do it everyday. Just my thoughts on the matter. I'm excited for Vlogmas and any other not so daily vlogs in between.
SpottedLabCoat Yes! I so miss the old days of UA-cam where vlogging was truly just showing the everyday real aspects of life. I like seeing someone’s “boring” days, because to me that is realistic and so much more relatable than people only vlogging when they do something exciting, often times only doing it just for vlog footage, rather than just living out the day organically as usual. Most of the vlogging channels I used to love so much 7 years ago I can no longer watch, because they have changed their daily life to create the best possible vlog footage, and there is nothing normal or genuine about it. I miss seeing people eat breakfast or preparing dinner, staying in their sweats without makeup on, grocery store runs, and just talking to the camera openly as if you were sitting down with a friend. The original style of vlogs in the past are now the type of content that vloggers consider to be too boring to post, and it’s truly such a shame. I *love* the so-called “boring” content, and I wish more than anything that everything on UA-cam could just go back to the way it started. Nothing fancy or elaborate, just genuine relatable content. That’s what I enjoy watching more than anything else! 😊💕

The “baby talk” you mentioned is actually really good for infants and their language development! I’m studying early childhood at my university and we spent a long time on this subject last spring. Look up infant directed speech (IDS) if you’re interested!
