Very helpful. Thanks
Thank you!!
Right On target, CJ!! Another great video!
Thank you sir!
Good points CJ, Love my Ninja!
Thank you!
Love you CJ.
❤️❤️
Love my Ninja Woodfire grill. Hope they make a larger one someday
They have an XL version, I’m thinking that’s as big as they’re going.
Your videos are really helping me with my new ninja!
Thank you!
All good information in this video. Only issue I have is with the Pecan Shell pellets. For me these are hard to lite and hard to keep lit during the cook in my wood fire grill. I have to mix 50/50 with 'regular' pellets to get better success liteing and keeping burning.
Thanks for stopping by!
Great video CJ thanks for the info have a great week 👍💪
Thanks brother!
Excellent
Should be a prompted play whenever a new person joins
Basically you give the operating basics and your 4 ebooks give everyone a basic recipe to cook most of the major things people will do
Thank you!!
I'm getting mine on Sunday, that's what the delivery date is. You said the temperature probes weren't accurate on the XL pro or something to that matter. Have you done a probe/ Bluetooth probe comparison in the same piece of meat to see ant disparity between the 2 different temperature probes? That would be interesting.
Hello from the UK. Great video man. I am seriously considering one of these products. I would probably keep it outdoors so the Ninja cover is a must. I have a question about the Ninja stand. Is that an essential purchase or could any stable table do the job? - Thank you. Peter.
Man still raining in SoCal? Was there 2 weeks ago and rained 3 days straight. Thanks for your videos man
Yeah it’s been pretty off and on. Thanks!
CJ love your videos....i just got an xl pro.... Do you know if the grate is dishwasher safe?
Great suggestions, CJ! The small hopper makes it very convenient to experiment with different pellets👍😊
Yes! Definitely helps. Thanks Bobbi!
Thanks! You are amazing at what you do, keep doing it!!!
Much appreciated! Cheers
Awesome tips CJ! Definitely agree with all your advice. Follow your cooks on the Ninja and everything always works out perfectly ! Cheers brother 🍻
Thanks brother!
Can you do a video on cleaning the woodfire? I do a bunch of cooking in it, and I feel like I'm getting diminishing quality and maybe it needs a good clean
Do: read the white owners manual. There’s lots of great information in there!
Definitely!
You're the man CJ!
Thanks bro!
just what I wanted to know brilliant video Andy from London
Thank you sir!
The only time i dont wait for the ignition cycle is when im doing beef jerky. I put the jerky on cold with the dehydrator setting, and let it do the ignition cycle with the jerky in to give it that extra smoke flavor right at the beginning. all the other stuff i do on it, i let it go through and then put it on.
I'm on a budget so instead of an instant read thermometer. i just use one of those old school analog ones with the dial on the top lol
Ive never brought my woodfire indoors, it lives outside. even in the cold iowa winter we just had. it survived the week of -20 degree weather with 23 inches of snow. Though i do keep it in the cover on the ninja brand stand, probably would have damaged something without that.
Thanks for checking it out. Love the old analog thermometers! Lol
Great Points! I clean my grill plate my food is sticking to the plate even with or without sprays any suggestions?
Try letting it sear the food a little longer. As the sear happens it should naturally pulls off the grates.
Bought my Ninja because of this channel. I use it in my RV and we love it. Just did try another CJ receipt for those Jalapeno poppers. They were a huge it at happy hour. Enjoy the channel keep on keepin on CJ
Awesome! Thank you!
Instant read thermometer is a cooks best friend
Definitely!
This was cool, thank you CJ. 🥘♥️
Cj have you ever done a leg of lamb on the ninja smoker been looking for tips ?
No I have it. Try the search feature on UA-cam, I think some of my UK UA-camrs have tried it.
I received the XL wireless version for christmas and so far have followed your videos to make pulled pork twice with excellent results! I stopped at Costco tonight to get some pork belly to follow your video from a year ago but they had cut it long ways so the belly is only about 1" thick. Is that normal? The pork belly you have in the video appears to not be cut. I asked the butcher and he said they do not cut it in 2" thickness.
I get the same stuff from Costco. Maybe it was just a thinner belly. Not sure though.
Interested in your books but I only have the woodfire oven, do I have to alter recipes to accommodate?
These two books have a bunch of recipes that work for both.

Hey CJ, if your cooking a smaller piece of meat do you always maintain the same temperature that you suggest for larger pieces?
Yeah pretty much.
I just got mine set up. Haven't used it yet. It's kind of intimidating. As a new subscriber, and a beginner "cook" do you feel its easy to get started and easy to master?
It’s pretty easy to set up, but it’ll take you a couple cooks to get it down pat.
Do you really get good smoke flavor ... been wanting one
Yes you do
Thanks for the info got one during the Black Friday sales now that the weathers right I’m about to put it to use
No problem!
Thanks 🙏 I’m going to buy one
Would it b safe to use the ninja indoors with a window open on grill setting?
I do not use it indoors, but I’ve heard of other people doing it.
Is the flat griddle big enough to do a hibachi fried rice meal?
Yeah, maybe for like 2-3 servings.
Does ninja have replacement pellet little basket if they burn out?
I don’t think so, you might have to reach out to Ninja on that.
Thank you, I have used it 3 times, and was curious as it gets really hot with the pellets. Really enjoy your videos.
Where can I get the cookbooks?
On my website. Here is the link. Thanks

Greetings from Germany. I´m worried about using the probe (Thermo Pro TempSpike) above Temperatures of 572°F cause this is the maximun written in the manual.
Take it out of the protein if you’re searing that high temp.
Bought mine recently and while reading instructions was wondering about pellets, then I discovered your no nonsense video, I am across the pond btw and thanks for the pellets information 👍
The container that I put the pellets in that area is starting to build up like a creosol. Have you experienced that on your ninja and if so, what’s your recommendations for cleaning up? I have a photo but can’t seem to load it into the comments.
I clean that area out with a wire brush I get from the Dollar tree.
We are new to using a smoker. We purchased the Ninja 7 in 1(not the Pro). Our first try was a brisket. My husband is still talking about how delicious it was. My questions is how important is it to inject a brisket, pork loin, or pork butt? If you do inject, what do you use? Thanks for your help. Love your videos. Going to purchase the cookbooks.
Thank you! I think I answered this in a message aready
My smoker isn't smoking! Help! I have a whole pork loin going, but it never lit in the pellet box...will it still cook?
@@SuperRoma60 hold the Woodfire button again for 3-4 seconds it will reignite the pellets. And yes it will still cook. The heat has nothing to do with the pellets burning.
What about using Royal Oak Charcoal Pellets? 👍or👎
I’ve used them once. Didn’t really notice it much.
What Extension cord can I use
I just us an orange outdoor cord.
Ah yes a Bear Mountain, man. Nice! My favorite pellets. That BOLD is the closest I’ve gotten to replicating an off-set, unachievable, but close-ish….lol
Yep yep!
I use Bear Mountain in my GMG ... BOURBON BBQ is my favorite
Where are the links to your cookbook recipe’s?
In the video description, under the video.
Purchased the cookbook bundle and the link won’t open. Says I’ve used up all of my downloads. 😢
Email me and I’ll take care of it.
Thanks for the upload, CJ. I was just getting ready to go to buy a Ninja woodfire grill for my apartment, until I saw your post. Money saved. Thanks for your advice.
Awesome! Thank you!
My ninja stays outside even in heavy snow. Its all good. Below -20C it wont start but other than that its fine
That’s too cold for this SoCal boy! Lol!
Hmm. I really want to be able to use mine indoors. Or in the garage. Designing a ventilation adapter!
Right on
i think i will buy some steaks today and try my ninja for the first time
Right on!
As a UK viewer my biggest don't is to not use CJs temps as his are in F and mine are in C 😂
I made the exact same mistake first time round. I incinerated a tomahawk 😂
Most of my videos will show the temps in C on the screen. But my first few videos didn’t have it. I didn’t realize it would be so popular in the UK. And all my eCookbooks have the temps in F and C.
My Thermapro Bluetooth thermometer only worked a month. Since then won’t sync with my phone at all or even show the thermometer is working at all. Prob too late to return. Great aid if it works but a waste of $$ if it doesn’t. 😢
Reach out to Thermopro, their customer service should work with you to make it right.
Did you try CHARCOAL PELLETS?
I have and really don’t notice much of a difference.
My meat is sticking to the griddle now.
I spray Pam on it, and my meats stick.
What am I doing wrong?
Let it sear a bit longer before trying to flip or move it.
Fake tree for the pool.
"Hit thumbs down twice if you don't like" 😅 that undoes the dislike 😂 🎉😊
🤔🤔🤔
Boy you're a sharp one.
I don't know anyone who likes the smoke, it tastes to over powering
