Many can not admit that. Great that people like you understand dogs have needs outside of being “family” I own gamebred dogs but I don’t think I could own these dogs neither.
Can you imagine having a Pharaoh Hound, and your dog gets out of the yard while he/she won't come to you because he/she thinks it is a game or saw something to chase after? Unless you are Quick Sliver from X-Men, I don't think you are going to be able to catch them. XD
Had this issue before and it’s awful. They literally just decide to come home when they want. May be 1 hour later, may be 12 hours later. If they escape the yard there’s absolutely no catching them.
hey Zeke, I'm gonna bug you again about the plight of podencos and galgos in Spain. If I come into unexpected $$$$ you and the fam are getting tickets there to do a video.
Elegant! I had a whippet… love sight hounds!!! They are fun BUT you have to be a certain kind of person to have these kinds of dogs… my whippet was a rescue… loved him and did a lot of activities with him..♥️🥰‼️☮️🕉
I would 100% agree with needing to be right type of person for these type of dogs. I love sighthounds but unfortunately they're just not for me (atm I have a Ridgeback X Pitbull called Jacob Zuma and a Red Heeler X kelpie called Chopper Read 🤣😜), but I love learning about them and watching them in action
@@OriginalEvaGreen 😂🤣 well I went from those to Jack russells so I’m not sure if I’m truly sane or not!! Sight hounds are to be admired for sure, but jacks are just little maniacs and REALLY appeal to some question of sanity in myself!!! Love your dogs names!! I’ve arrived at my permanent breed.. God help me❣️😵💫😍😂♥️‼️☮️🕉🥰🌟🌟🌟‼️
Lots of podencos in the UK for rescue. They are VERY similar. Sadly the Spanish hunters abandon them at the end of rabbit season because they are too cheap to feed them. There aren't too many here in the US. The rescues make sure they won't have puppies. If they were here in the US, they would be expensive.
As said below, there's another breed that need a chance. Tbf here in the UK there aren't many places to run the dogs like this. So in a way its cruel to have one if you can't let it be itself
@@ashajackson2845 I think many farmers would be happy to let the dogs run for a small fee. My cousin in Scotland had a working lurcher that the local farmers loved....kept those crop destroying critters in check.
The pharaoh hound is very attractive, but that Ibizan hound! So striking. I don't have the lifestyle for one but I'm definitely a fan.

I have Cirneco dell'Etna, they are mini versions of the Pharaoh hound.
Nice video
Breathtaking to watch. Can you do Ibizan video, or comparing Ibizan to pharaoh?
do a video on the azawakh
Animal planet should hire u or Nat Geo for dog documentary because this channel is pretty great for finding out new dogs
The footage of dogs is spectacular!
Just a Zeke/doggie fan girl! LOL
Def no the breed or dog sport for me but great video!
What's the most fast this one or Galgo of Argentine?
I’ve never seen this dog in the UK

I’ve rescued a Pharaoh hound Dutch shepherd cross from Spain. She is amazing ❤
