Rafa.. not being rude.. the Christmas decorations in China is 100 time more spectacular than any they can put up in the so called Christian west.. in fact most big major cities in the Asia pacific like Singapore.. Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur have better Christmas decorations.. they do it for commercial reasons.. an excuse to make the Mall very beautiful.. majority of the outdate mall in the west.. especially those in the US no longer exist.. due to being abandon through bankruptcy..
Yeah, I was about to say. What you see in the video is so much better than some of the stuff I used to see in NYC. Don't get me wrong, it was always nice to see the tree at Rockefeller center but China doesn't cheap out with the visuals either.
US holiday season starts with Thanks Giving, ends with Christmas and New Year; China holiday season starts with Christmas and New Years, ends with Chinese New Year and Lantern Festival
There is freedom of worship in China. But there is no reason for it to be a public holiday just like Vesak, Deevapali, etc. are not public holidays in western nations
Christmas to Chinese is Just like Valentine's day; a shopping booster to attract shoppers. Nothing special If you are not christian or worked in a western firm.
Very interesting to see how such a lovely nation like China "celebrate" Cristmas... in a way is a good respectful way to make it known and make people feel happy and full of joy because that's what Cristmas is all about, isn't it? Merry Cristmas to you and enjoy it fully, you're in the right place😀👏👍!.
You should be more up to date with current events. Due to economy downturn, people are not celebrating Christmas in Shanghai and no many people out on the streets on Christmas. ua-cam.com/video/ZycaUxYtGc0/v-deo.html
In my country there is only 1% Christian still a national holiday. People don't understand what peace is? Do you? 99% don't celebrate at all but it's a day off no work. Who would say no to a holiday. 😂😂😂

Don't be stupid. Get your facts right. A Roman emperor renamed the winter solstice as Christmas. The Chinese winter solstice occurred a few days earlier. So, Christmas is just another hyped-up winter solstice holiday.

Agreed. Toronto city hall Christmas decorations are dirty cheap. A big Xmas tree that's about it.
Malls don't exist anymore because you are too lazy to go shopping. You just sit with your big fat ass in your chair shopping online. 😡
@@allenwong2219same same in Australia 🤮

All across Europe and in China, by the look of it, the Christmas markets have the same German theme.
Most Christmas stuff are made in China anyway.
More than 80% last year.
Christmas and Boxing Day are public holidays in Hong Kong
CHINA HAVE HIS CHINESE NEW YEAR TO CELEBRATE AND THIS COME FOR THOUSANDS YEARS OF HISTORY
In Macau Christmas and Boxing Day is a public holiday also. Both territories had western influence and quite a lot of Hong Kongers are Christians.
Merry Christmas everyone. Thank you for the video Rafael.
I can't understand why this channel is very much underrated. Watching your videos is a real pleasure to eyes.

Merry Christmas! 圣诞快乐! 🎄🎅
If China doesn't even ban their ethnic celebrations, why would they ban Christmas?!
To be clear, in HK, Xmas and Boxing day ARE public holidays. Not in mainland though.
May god bless you 🙏 ❤️
So now it's because of money ? Nothing good to say? There are many Christians in China and they're allowed to celebrate freely.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Rafa!

Religion is a book to preach Peace and sometimes Evil - look around the World and you can tell the difference
China's Christmas better than the West's, change my mind
Americans are celebrating X'mas in LA with a huge fire show!
You Sound like SpongeBob SquarePants friend "Squidward Tentacles"..!! 😱

Where is your country?
wrong. China has the largest population of Christians.
Wrong about not being a holiday in Hong Kong, 25 and 26 December are public holidays.
Good video nonetheless
Religion is about money.
