I feel no shame admitting I cried at a damn trailer. It looks visually stunning, the casting is incredible, and it just feels RIGHT. I am so excited for this!

    “Singe me, Flame Daddy”

"14 years passed and we discovered a new live-action Avatar, being produced by Netflix, and although their live-action One Piece was great, they have a lot to learn before they're ready to be trusted by the fandoms. But I believe Netflix can save the legacy."

  • @Phantom_Fireside

I'm not ashamed to admit I cried when Aang went into the Avatar State the first time I saw the trailer

  • @ReileenGI

I cried watching this trailer, please don't disappoint me Netflix 🥺

  • @amberbouley

I know it's a "Netflix" Original but I wish they would do a marathon run in theaters. Seeing this on the big screen would be amazing.

  • @roojieq86

The tears in Aang’s eyes made me emotional

  • @Reece_Hart

The bending looked so smooth and natural. It's so cool being able to recognise so much of the cartoon in the trailer

  • @iCrowLink

"Singe me, Flame Daddy" is my new favorite phrase. 😂

They made it a point to let the audience hear them say Aang instead of Ong, they do care lol. Avatar the last air bender and legend of kora have one of these best super power/magic systems in modern story telling. It’s simple, but can expand to include so many extra abilities. Visually, it leaves so much room for dynamic scenes (with darkrooms being only lit by fire strikes, like a horror movie almost. Or have an earth bender just rotate a town square like in inception).

Jay said he did enough. Oh no sir. You have to go the whole way

  • @ladrac198

Every reaction I've seen has been the same so far. We've all seen the news, saw the teaser and thought it looked good, so we go in with a bit of excitement.... and then the trailer proceeds to get EVERYTHING right!! The casting, how Sokka/Zuko/Aang/Katara sound, the music, the bending, the imagery, multiple characters like Jet/June/Bumi, and just, AAAAAH it's so perfect!!

  • @jaimeeking8584

I LEGIT CRIED WATCHING THE TRAILER FOR THE FIRST TIME! 😭 Netflix I 🫡 you.

  • @heltaku9397

Omg Jay actually mentioning One Piece and indicating that they've watched it. It's pretty wild that the bar everyone keeps bringing up as the standard live action anime adaptations should aim for is the show with the animatronic snail phones and wacky themed pirate costumes.

    SO CAUTIOUSLY HYPED

  • @PaulJohnson-zv3hl

I think what made the OG Avatar special was how they laid the foundation and managed to tie everything together at the end and mixed it with memorable episodic moments like the tales of Ba Sing Se.

  • @mulyanax3921

Everyone who watch the cartoon, will cry the first time see the teaser and this trailer, because the hit of nostalgia from that soundtrack that very very iconic

  • @castlebyers6134

After this trailer I’m hyped. When I heard that the creators walked away from the show to form Avatar Studios, I was a little worried.
