@@IslandVibeCooking Hi, can you please clarify the cooking time on this? In the video you said to cook in the oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. In the printed out recipe located in your description area, it says to cook in the oven on at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. I would really like to try this recipe I but need you to clarify which is correct.
This look very easy and good do I boil the crab first Nd did u add water and stuff to the corn and potatoes i always wanted to try making a boil but everybody’s look so hard urs look very easy
@@IslandVibeCooking Hi, I'm still waiting for you to clarify the cooking time for this. In the video while doing the voiceover, you said to cook it on 350 degrees for 15 minutes. In the print out version of the recipe in the description area, it says to cook it on 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Which is correct?
@@ms.nakitamonroe5469 have you ever cooked seafood before? You can easily gauge the time. Somewhere between 15-30 minutes. Depending on oven type and temp.
I’ve done this a few times already and it gets better each time. I’ve found that cutting off the sharp tips of the crab legs helps prevent them poking holes in the bag. We also don’t precooked our corn. This is my go to way to make seafood broil!
Great video for those who don't know how to do a seafood boil. I've used this method many times because it makes cleanup easy. I also do foil packs with brown butter on the grill or in oven minus the crab legs. Have a wonderful and blessed day.
New subbie!! Im 7 months pregnant and been craving fried rice and spending too much money on hibachi so i found your fried rice recipe, i hope mine is like yours! Thanks so much!
I made but i think I put too much Old Bay (it had a kick equivalent to a punch) but my family enjoyed it. It will be better next time. My first time making a seafood boil and using Old Bay.
We are following this right now, got the air out of the bag and tied it up the way you did, but then the bag still got big and blew up in the oven.... Hopefully it tastes as good as everything now smells like lol.
I made this today omg my husband loved it thank you soooo much island vibe u changed everything in my household I'm going to make the strawberry shortcake, I need to know if u will be able to do the German chocolate cake these are his favorites plz let me again thank u
This looks amazing and a lot easier than I thought it would be! So I'm going to try this recipe but can you please clarify the cooking time? In the video, you say to cook on 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. But in the recipe listed in the description area, it says to cook on 400 degrees for 30 minutes. That's a big difference. Which is correct?
Hello, this will be my first Seafood boil that I’ll make for my husband’s birthday this Saturday👏🏽!! One question, do you cook the sausages before putting in the bag? Can’t wait to try this recipe. Thank you for sharing.
Island Vibe Cooking , I had to come back to say that my sister in law and I made this to celebrate our husband’s birthdays today (May 1st & May 2nd) and it was absolutely delicious👍🏽! It tasted better than any seafood boils we have purchased at restaurants. They loved it! Again, thank you for sharing. Blessings to you and your family. 😊
I think this recipe is good. I would suggest pan sear the sausage before putting it into the mix. Additionally if you start with the sausage then sweating the garlic and onions in the oil left over from the sausage would add flavor. Personally I like spicy, so besides adding cayenne to the seasoning I replaced the smoked sausage with jalapeno smoked sausage.
Hello new to your channel 👋🏼 I want to know do you have to cook the snow crab legs and shrimp in before you put in the bag don’t they cook inside the bag? Or what’s a good way I never cooked this type of food? Help please
Anytime you purchase shellfish at the store, it is blanched and then sold frozen. So to answer your question, no the crab does not need to be cooked beforehand.
Where so you buy your seafood? I really want to make this but I don't normally buy seafood and dont know if I should go to a supermarket or purchase online?
Yes I am my funds were but I spent 6.31 on crabs shrimp 🦐 was 2.30 sausage 2.50 and corn 1.00 and potatoes 🍠 2.00 and butter gary butter 3.19 and one onion I'm good
Looks great!! How much butter did you use? 2 - 1/2 sticks?
Yes about 2 1/2 sticks
