OMGee. I gotta get some of those acrylic inks. I like the fact that you don’t have the acrylic water waste, because you just use whatever’s in the tube and then there’s a lot less if it’s on your brush too. And I really like your “do your thing” and “feel your way” through your art. Thanks!
Dear Bob... thank YOU so much for being so generous with your knowledge. You are a gift! I so look forward to your Bob Blasts . Happy New Year to you. A loyal fan
"I can work with that"...what I hope God thinks when he sees my life, lol. Creatively divine works Bob, thank you so much.. I'm wanting more intensity but I don't sell my works(501 days straight painting every day learning) so student grade acrylics have had to do since I go thru a lot. But I really want the PIGMENT load other paints promise. Yes yes yes my favorite place and things too..I mean its the one place its no one else's agenda lol
That last large painting you added the inks to.....wonderful dimension with the white you used. I love your videos Bob, and looking at your paintings in your studio. Just beautiful.
Just discovered you last night and am totally addicted!!! Into the next evening and late still going through the many videos you have given. Great resource and you LOVE IT! How good is that?!!
I’m wanting to turn my acrylic paints into acrylic inks for dip pens. I’m finding conflicting things - mix with water, don’t mix with water, mix with alcohol, don’t mix with alcohol, etc. Anyone try this out?
Where can Holbein acrylic inks be purchased? I did a search today (January 8, 2019) and came up with nothing other than a site in Japan - or if I searched on eBay it was also from Japan. The "INK" is label looks different from the other Holbein "fluid acrylic" and "Aeroflash Liquid Acrylics" that I see available at Blick, Cheap Joe's, and others. Bob does mention in his description that this INK is a replacement for the Aeroflash product. Blick, Amazon, Michael's, and others sell Liquitex Acrylic Inks, and I would assume they're similar.
Looks like it's a new product by Holbein that will be coming to the US eventually. I bought some Daler-Rowney acrylic inks at my local Blick last night and they are fun to work with.
Love that big piece!!! Magic!
Thanks! I like it too!
Bob is the greatest enabler to my painting addiction!

Far out Bob!! I'll have to give the inks a try. I have some markers but filling them with inks seem like the best way to go...

Do you have to clean out the refillable cartridges after you use them so they don’t dry out?
