Hi Guys....Just to let you both know....Dimash's last name....Kudaibergen is translated as A Gift of God. Also, in Russia the audience Love Dimash but, they are different than us, in their culture during shows like this they are very, I guess you would say , laid back? They know Dimash very well and Love him but, in shows like this they don''t show that kind of emotion or enthusiam like we would here in the U.S. That is why at the end of his songs you will see them giving him so many flowers. Which Dimash doesn't keep but, gives them to nursing homes and hospitals for people to enjoy. I really enjoy your reactions to Dimash. I have been a Dear ( what Dimash has named his fans because he said we are like an extension of his family ) Are you Dears yet?? Yup I am an old Dear.....literally and figuratively. Dimash always was the best but now he is a beast on that stage. There is simply NO singer that can perform and mesmerize the audience like he does.
This instrument is kobyz. Kazakhs national instrument. It's much more ancient than any violin.
The “violin” is a Kobyz, a traditional Kazakh instrument made from a solid piece of wood with two strings of horsehair. According to Dimash the musician playing it, Olzhas Kurmanbek, is a master and the best in the world:

👉 A Dear wrote: “Dimash is not only a singer, but a messenger of something very deep that has been lost in music lately ... Dimash invades our soul and never leaves it.”
On August 19, 2021, for the first time the sound of kobyz was heard on the stage of the New Wave Hall in Sochi Olympic Park.
The tandem of Igor Krutoy (piano) and Dimash Qudaibergen (voice) with the best Kobys player in the world Olzhas Qurmanbek, have presented a new, really unique song in English with enchanting oriental melodies.
The idea to add kobyz to the new song came to Dimash after he first heard the melody "Stranger". He decided that the folk instrument would fit perfectly into the song, giving it an exciting sound. The performer of the kobyz part is Olzhas Kurmanbek.
The music was created by Russian song-writer Igor Krutoy (musictitan, billionaire), and the lyrics were written by Mary Sharon Vaughn (*1947, is an American musician, songwriter and producer. She writes hits for famous singers around the world) The main arrangement was made by Dimitris Kontopoulos (Greece) and Yerlan Bekchurin (Kazakhstan).
“It was Dimash’s talent that inspired me to write this song, his immense vocal abilities and his desire to sing for a large international audience. Franky, I don’t see anyone else who could perform this piece in such a way”, - Krutoy said. (Source: Dimashnews)

It’s not necessary to be vulgar to be honest. But they are less authentic than they were now that they are encouraged. They were more enjoyable when they didn’t over-react and kept the gutter language to a minimum. This generation needs to learn about decency and respect .

I think of him as being from a different culture where f--k actually just means WOW! If we are being honest we know that is what he means when he says it. I used to be very bothered, but I have learned. He comes from a culture where words have been used differently. We can be judgemental, or accepting. In the past I wouldn't ever come back to hear this. That is an option, and I would understand.

Всё видел , но чтобы реагировали на вокал Димаша приблатнённые парни - это вижу впервые ! Даже их " достал " неземной вокал Димаша , даже они поняли , что он пел голосами трёх - четырёх людей ... Впечатлило и их постоянное " бро " ( сокращённо от brother) !

It has the same instrument, Kobyz, in it and it's wonderful performance too. One of my favorite is also 'Love is like a Dream' @ Moskow. Love your genuine reactions!! Dimash is the best!
If you go to concert in the U.S. or China, people will be screaming during the performance. But this particular event is people showing their respect to the performers. Their reaction at the end is actually pretty flamboyant for this crowd! LOL

No, guys, you can't just turn it on and watch - you definitely need to find out everything about Dimash! At least that his vocals have already been measured: he can sing from the note B0 to D8 - this is what fans from all known performances were able to find and measure. These sounds are below the thickest bass and above the highest soprano! What Dimash does at rehearsals, what notes he takes is his secret.
